You rock. Great instructions!! Tore my TB110 down and cleaned carb. Mower fired right up and sounds great. Haven’t used the mower for two years and it’s ready to tear down my weeds. The don’t be afraid pliers to pull the jets was key. I was careful but gorilla wiggled it free. Putting jet tube back on was a challenge but I lubed it with a little gas and that worked great. Thanks for your help !!!

Thanks for sharing your knowledge & experience. Hopefully by following your guidance I will be able to repair my lawnmower to start with the key. About 8 months ago I picked up either a 2010 or 2011 Troy-Bilt Model #12AGA26E011, Serial #1A191KC0892 from my neighborhood curb-shop front. I cleaned it he debris and dirt that was all over the lawnmower on the day I brought it home. I plugged the charger into a electrical cord overnight: the next day, I added a little gasoline to the fuel tank and the engine started with the key start just one - then the battery was drained of juice. I tested to see if the engine would start without the key ignition/battery and it started no problem. I priced a replacement battery and I could not believe the battery was priced at $65.00 to $95.00. I figured that is why it was kicked to the curb. We entered winter, so I just stowed it in the garage until recently when I found a replacement battery at Lowes for $32.98. The fuel tank was bone dry empty because when I tested it I burned off the very small amount that I poured into the tank. I installed the new battery and the key ignition started the engine - great, so I disconnected the battery and removed it from the compartment [has not secure cover] and commenced to give this lawnmower a oil change, which requires tipping it over on its side. After I changed the oil, turned it upside right, the key ignition won't turn the engine, but I can still pull the cord start the engine. I checked the new battery and the 40-amp fuse they are both good. Now I figure I will attempt to take apart the carburetor.

Would you know what size the screws are that secure the carb? Picked up a used one and they are missing. Ty
I think 8mm on outer black ones to mount it. Inner silver screws are an annoying 9/32. 2015 model. This guy has 2017. I see people mentioning slightly diff. so might depend on year for all I know
Man keeps overfilling and leaking out of the top right hole where the choke gasket is. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong
