    My mower now works. I took it apart following the directions in this video. I think upon draining the carburetor I could see I had water in with the fuel. I didn't go so far as to take the carburetor apart as in this video, I was confident my problem was water in the fuel.
    To the host of Lets Fix It if you ever need any custom desktop software written, let me know, I'll return the favor no charge. This video has saved the future of my lawn mower, because anytime I end up with water in the fuel or carburetor, I now know how easy it is to fix it.

    Thanks! Your video helped me fix the lawnmower for a family member and save paying a repair store who knows how much money. A can of air and 2hrs (I'm not super handy and I forgot to get the air and gas beforehand) and she fired up!

    I had the same problem and this is a great vid. However, to be honest take baby steps. I didn't have to break mine down that far to get her going again. All I did was took off the air filter, sprayed some carb cleaner inside the little golden flap followed by a little gas, reassemble the air filter and BAM! Mine started right up. You HAVE TO put the air filter back before trying to start or it'll die back out. If that doesn't work, then proceed to breaking down carb might be what it takes.

    • @LetsFixIT
      @LetsFixIT  6 років тому

      Thats cool , sound like your wasn't like bad at the jet. But here is a tip use mid or high octane gas. Also use a gas treatment so it wont happen again.

    • @coleman2608
      @coleman2608 6 років тому +1

      Lets Fix IT definitely got a bottle of gas treatment and won't leave fuel sitting in tank too long again without turning her over

    I screwed up at the end of last season, after imbibing to much, I put in my snowblower 50:1 mix in the tank instead. Spark Plug was shot, replaced that and mower would only start then die out when using Starter Fluid. Took my TB110 into the shop yesterday to clean the Carb. $90 and a two week wait. Missed your video by 1 day

    I am working on one now. No start.. Found the fuel hose deteriorated inside and rubber fibers in carb. Bought new carb kit= Carb ,O-rings , air filter, Spark plug , fuel hose & hose clamps for $35.00 from amazon. Ran good for 3 or 4 min then the eng. started spooling up and down . I sprayed a little ether near the head intake and it evened out..I removed the plastic intake and checked the O-ring..Everything looked good. I put a little RTV on the intake, started it and as soon as it warmed up 3 or 4 min it started spooling again . Up n down. I checked and adjusted the valves..The owner said it was doing that before it got to become a no start. which was because the fuel line was clogged..Now i'm thinking it may be the head and or the head gasket or the intake..I am about ready to chuck it but i hate being beat..lol

      it should good unless you need a new spring. You could put tension on it by bending it some.
