It might be a desired shape but the fashion industry does not tailor clothes for this body shape or very seldomly. I always have extra fabric at the waist, and if it fits at the waist - it's too tight at the bust... 😪 But hey, at least I learned how to sew from an early age. 👍
Hi Fancy Nancy, I have the same problem. My solution is to wear "structured" tops only, like for example white and blue (my favorit pattern) striped dress shirts or so called "drop shoulder shirts" for ladies that I mostly don't tug into my trousers. Long-sleaved is a must, you can roll them up if it's too warm. I buy those that have a loose fit, so they hide my chest well. But because they are sort of formal, I avoid looking frumpy. 😉

I’m hourglass with smaller chest and tall on the thinner side.. definitely hourglass .. it’s hardly ever mentioned .. help 😊…
