As a lifetime Superman fan, I can say without a doubt that this has been the best Superman product put out so far. The writing, acting, topics and themes, just all round great tv. So sad it has to end. But hey, it's going out with a bang.
Bringing him back in this way was such a good and unique way of doing it, none of us even thought about it. Massive props to the writers for coming up with it, and there's also something so poetic about Superman having a human heart beating in his chest. I imagine the consequence will be that he'll be half-human like his sons and start aging, I could see the final scene of the show being him retired & old with Lois. It's a shame that both the resurrection plot and Jonathan's powers plot feel a little bit "rushed" but that's sadly just how they have to do it because of it being the final season and honestly they're making it work quite well all things considered, apparently they had a 7 season plan that obviously had to be shifted massively.
I haven't watched any of the new shows yet, but, how can an alien being have a human heart ??? I'm assuming Luthor cut out Supes heart with kryptonite, right ???
@@kerry-j4m so in the show doomsday rips out Superman heart and gives it to Lex Luther the only reason Sam’s heart can work inside Superman is this same lane when he died had the serum flowing through his heart because the serum has Superman’s blood in it
@@bradyfair4740 WOW.Thanks for the explanation, amigo, man,I hope Superman gets a vicious rematch and takes Doomsday's heart out. LOL. just kidding,I know that's not Superman's style. But,a rematch where SUPES pounds Doomsday into the ground would be nice tho.
I feel Jordan is getting way too much hate of people. Take into account, he’s a teenager with crippling social anxieties, going through grief. I think his thinking is entirely natural. I think the ‘complication’ in Clarks’ resurrection is that he will now age like a proper human. Meaning he can grow old with Lois, and have to pass the torch to his 2 super sons.
@@jamesward4561 I was saying the same thing. I think everyone is forgetting that for his entire life, Jordan has been suffering with extreme anxiety and he has always been an outcast when it came to his peers. Jonathan has been the complete opposite. Super popular, everything came so easy for him. Their personalities are night and day. His reaction to finding out his mom picked Jonathan to live over him makes sense to us because Jon didn't have powers and he did and could most likely survive. That logic is lost on Jordan because of his life long insecurities and always feeling less than. He can't help it, it's not stupidity.
@@jamesward4561 not just that but this was on lois as well she should’ve hung up immediately and not taken the bait and take her chances because as Jordan said it wasn’t Jonathan in danger it was him with kryptonite. I cannot blame Jordan at all really his mental problems and social anxiety doesn’t help either and he is a 16 year old prone to manipulation especially from lex luthor. Now Jon got his powers and Jordan doesn’t feel special anymore since Jon automatically knew how to use his powers and Jordan really struggled with his powers yet Lois automatically dismissed his feelings and not even asking him what’s wrong and this is after Jon went off at him.
No, he’s not getting enough. He’s alomost acting very feminine as emotions; as he is. He is a boy a young man and whiney a lot. He needs to have some maturity and 3D thinking. Hate that character.
There's a panel in Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths where Jon holds off Doomsday long enough to give the Justice League time to get on top in the fight they're in and he stands there ready for Doomsday to end him. Just as Doomsday starts charging in he ends up getting saved by Clark. I wouldn't be surprised if something similar is recreated but with both boys stalling for time until Clark is fully healed and that's how Superman returns. That last scene with hologram Sam was such a great emotional scene as well but I will say I started laughing almost instantly after because Lucy just got the Sophie treatment and completely ignored.
