i worked on this show from the first shot of the pilot, to the last shot of the last episode. so many laughs and tears on our journey. it was an experience ill never forget. one of the best casts and crew ive ever worked with in my career of almost 30 years. great reaction video.
I cried during the episode and I teared up with each reaction. Tyler and Bitsie did a great job, this is now one of my top performances of Superman/Clark. This Krypto I believe is the same type of dog as Shelby from the Smallville "Krypto" episode, that was nice too. What a wonderful show was this, worth the rewatch. A lot of fun watching your reactions too! Cant wait to see your future reactions and podcasts :D
I love how for the first time (to my memory) Superman is faced with leaving behind a legacy. He's always been pretty much immortal, so it's kind of a new concept for him. I love that he decides to start a foundation and work to change the world before he leaves. I thought it was beautiful
The true strength of a hero isn’t within their powers, it’s within their heart. And the Super Family is growing stronger every passing day. Such a fantastic way to end not just this show, but the entire WB/CW DC superhero era. Starting all the way in 2001 with Smallville, all through out the 2010s with the Arrowverse (Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Legends, etc), to here now. A 23-year era. There will never be something like this again… but we are lucky to have it exist.
I rewatched this episode twice and god it made me cry more than, anything other than Tom Hanks films 😂. It’s wild the CW started with Smallville & ended with a Superman show it’s been a wild ride of DC on tv & they made a better universe than what some of the movies did. This show had some amazing writing, acting & action scenes but the drama was peak always. Most consistent show I ever seen & most solid ending to a show it truly embodied what Superman stands for & did the family stuff well
Kid’s stories often end with “they lived happily ever after”. This is what that means. Spending your remaining years being happy together. Everyone eventually dies, but that’s not a bad thing if you lived a great life.
My mom passed of cancer in 2009 and the scene with Lois dying really hit me hard. My wife and I reacted to this show as well and I could barely speak by the time it was over and we had to do the outro. What a great show, i tear up each time i watch someone else reaction.
What an amazing experience it was watching this show over the years, watching your reactions and discussions..! couldn't have asked for a better ending.. genuinely moved 🥲🥲
About Krypto, in the new Superman film Krypto is a golden labrador too. But I think it was more of a Smallville Easter egg. In one of the episodes Clark adopts a meteor enhanced dog. Lois does jokingly suggest the name Krypto, but Clark goes with Shelby. So I think that’s why they had that breed over the more iconic white dog in the past.
I just started watching this show thanks to you guys. I've been spoiled a lot by watching these reactions but I get to watch the missing blanks from the reactions and it's been amazing.
@@MissAngel452 Have heard good things, it's just the 200-odd episodes that make it a bit daunting. Mayhap one day - but I think I need to sit with _this_ show and what it taught me for a little while before I try to extend my Supes exposure.
Thanks to all 4 of your for bring us wonderfully funny and emotional reactions on superman and lois series the past 4 years...I truly appreciate the 4 of you
You're right that the dog doesn't look like Krypto from the comics. However, I believe the reason is that he's a reference to Krypto from the Smallville show because he's close to identical. Also most of the kids are the children of the crew. I believe the 'explosion' that Jordan did to Jonathan was the beginning of the Solar Flare powers (I don't know if that was the intention but it's what I assumed it was).
I’ve already watched this episode 5 times, this is how you do a series finale, conclude all storylines in a satisfying way & wrap up the characters, this series while short at only 53 episodes is the best Superman story ever put to screen as far as I’m concerned, I’ll rewatch this series again & again, to all involved, thank you 🙏
Found the channel and subscribed when this series started! What a ride. What a show. Gonna be really hard for DCU to beat this. Tyler and Bitsie for me are the greatest to ever do it.
Well, time for me to get tissues prepared watching this reaction. That last 15mins of the finale really got me. I couldn't stop crying. Superman & Lois is the best show coming from The CW/Arrowverse!
This last season, the show's diminished budget was very obvious in its production quality. But I think its such a great credit to its writers and its cast that these portrayals shined so brightly despite its restrictive budget. That could only happen because they just inherently understood these characters, and what really makes them special. I feel comfortable saying that Tyler is my favorite live action Superman. He managed to embody every aspect that makes Superman (and Clark Kent) special- his strength, his humility, his humor. And his vulnerability as a husband and father. I love how hopeful this finale was, despite being bittersweet.
Man i remember the first reaction i watch of you guys and it was Superman & Lois season 1 "The Man of Steel" when we learned who john really was and that he was Steel. I enjoyed the reactions since then and what an amazing ride it has been The past 3-4 years. I'm really Sad we didn't Get to see Tal one more time but i guess it wouldn't make sense. Jordan Made a small solar flare which is a new power superman has from 2017 comics. I'm Truly sad this show is over now and now i need to find another show i have interest in and a stake in. The characters i fell in love with so much and I'm going to miss tyler As Superman. Tyler is My Superman and Now Tyler passes the cape to David and he has some big shoes to fill. Much love and looking forward to the next Chapter of Superman.
the ONLY thing I didnt like about this finale is that they didnt show the world mourning Supermans Death....all we needed was a a 2 second shot or a newspaper headline or something.
Sorry for multiple posts. Sometimes I just want to have more and it not be one massive post lol. Outside the main characters I'd say Tal was definitely my favourite character
That moment of Clark punching Lex out of his suit should be framed as fine art. This was a very emotional ending and strong finish for the show. As much as I love Christopher Reeve and Henry Cavill, Tyler Hoechlin just further solidified himself as my favorite Superman- he's come a long way from being a guest star on Supergirl. It's sad seeing this era finally end. When Arrow finished, we still had some shows left. When The Flash ended, that was the end of the shared universe. Now, with Superman and Lois is gone, the era of DC TV on the WB/CW has come to a close.
This stunning and amazing episode ended in the same way the first episode did. With me in a bawling mess, and about to go upstairs and give my wife a big hug and kiss. This series dove deep into some serious topics, and didn't hold back. It was done with amazing respect for the source material, but had an amazing heart in a way very few shows have done for me. The "superhero" aspect is not what won me over with this series (even though I love that too, having loved Superman since I was a kid). It was about family. Not many shows get to end perfectly... but wow, you could not ask for a show about Superman's life to end so damn perfectly. There are a lot of grown men and women crying right now. Thank you to everyone who made this show. Thank you.
It has been a pleasure to watch along with you all, experiencing the many highs this show has given us. And thankfully not too many lows. I won’t mention Allie Alston 😂 Although without that season we wouldn’t have gotten Bizarro, and then Doomsday, so I guess we gotta take the rough with the smooth. I cried like a baby in the latter half of the episode. When a show can elicit those emotions for characters, then you know it is special. Without a doubt, in my opinion, one of the absolute best finales in a very, very long time. R.I.P Superman & Lois. You will be missed. ❤
Your discussion of the new DCU continuity had me laughing. “Shaky foundations to build your new universe.” Gunn doesn’t know what a reboot is. I would like for you to bring back your podcast
Something that is sad the show runners did say they wanted to get Tal Ro back but they didn't have the money or time to get him. That line of uncle morgan from season 1 always makes me chuckle
Superman was 20s when he joined the daily planet 4 years of Superman-ning later ... he married Lois Had their Boys till Lex got defeated. @LegendsofPodcasting thank you for the great reactions. Like you said at the end of the video a few things coming up still. Got what if season 3. I know you guys didn't react to the first 2 seasons so what not sure if you guys enjoyed it or not but would be good to see a season 3 reaction, if you like it that is

Many people say had the show gone for more years, it would've declined in quality. I do NOT agree AT ALL. They had 4 seasons, they were aiming for 7. The remaining 3 seasons would've been AMAZING. Btw, the show was done dirty. Gunn and WB should've moved it to Max and continued it there once the CW was sold. But it is clear that Gunn wants 99% of the new projects to be part of the DCU. What a shame. It better NOT flop.
I need to rewatch, but from my memory: Season one: 8-9/10 Season two: 6-7/10 (I didn’t care for the Ally plotline much, but Bizarro was great) Season three: 9-10/10 Season four: 9-10/10 It’s easier for me to look past the cheap effects and stuff in this season than it is for other people. hey guys DCU Creature Commandos eps 1 & 2 and a " weeks ahead" trailer just dropped which i recommend for you guys to see after watching the 2 eps, hopefuly you can check them out and do a reaction to it 😀 thankyou so much
It was a pity that they somehow couldn't have had Kara is the final episode, even a brief glimpse would have been nice,I don't know how they'd have done, but it would have made an added bonus.Oh,the mentioing of Grimm, now there's a show you should react to,it is fantastic, and Bitsie is great in that too,
I think this show was a sweet family drama. But it wasn’t focused enough on Superman to be one of my favorite adaptations. They also made many changes from the source material and put their own spin on things.

@ same thing. Until I’ve seen the episode or movie I keep off line
They killed Lois off with Cancer.

It was a pity that they somehow couldn't have had Kara is the final episode, even a brief glimpse would have been nice,I don't know how they'd have done, but it would have made an added bonus.Oh,the mentioing of Grimm, now there's a show you should react to,it is fantastic, and Bitsie is great in that too,
@@DennisNelson-ee2il She wasn’t needed though out the entire run of this series and was ok
I think this show was a sweet family drama. But it wasn’t focused enough on Superman to be one of my favorite adaptations. They also made many changes from the source material and put their own spin on things.
Bitsie Tulloch and David Giuntoli are also married which, I can't believe I only just found out a couple days ago.
