Most likely he will have to lick his wounds for awhile, allowing Jordan, Natalie and John to pick up the slack while he's out. I honestly wouldn't mind if they introduced another super next season like Kara or Mon-El to help out. Not necessarily a series regular, but someone fans would be interested to see every now and then. I wouldn't even mind if it was Tal.
I knew there will be a cliffhanger, but I did not expect it to end it right there! My jaw dropped watching that fight and that last shot *chef kiss*. A wild prediction: What if the Superman from John Henry's Earth came to this Earth and he's the Cyborg Superman?
If it had ended on that shot, I would have been devastated but also weirdly proud? If that makes sense. Such a badass way to close this season. Thanks for the great reactions all season!!
fuckn imagine they didn’t renew for a 4th season. Dude when doomsday grabbed Supermans head to initiate the fight and slammed him into the ground before throwing him into the sky I was fuckn scared for him and I never felt scared for a character before. I loved how Clark told Jordan not to step in cause he was afraid himself and knew steel, nat and Jordan would all be killed. This is a fight where Superman has the best chance at killing Doomsday. I can’t wait for next season.
If Clark does get killed, I think Jordan will finally understand what it means to be a hero. I recently rewatched the Incredibles and Jordan's story this season felt very similar to Syndrome. If Clark dies, it's going to make Jordan realise it's about saving lives, and doing hero work, not being a hero and getting fame. If Clark dies, Jordan is definitely going to become Superboy next season, while Lex might introduce the 'Supermen' androids, which may very well introduce Henshaw (Cyborg Superman), the only problem is, they already used the name as Martian Manhunter's secret identity in Supergirl, but they can always give him a new name.
Doomsday was insane! Great reaction guys. I think the show had 3 strong seasons, but I think this one is my favorite. Looking forward to season 4 and more reactions. Cheers

The way I see it IF they kill or in another way make Clark not return for a while, Clark's telling Jordan not to step in would achieve what Snyder tried to do with Man Of Steel when he had John Kent tell Kal not to save him. I think it's a very good way to develop Jordan into the hero he needs to be. Understanding that saving people is what's important not fame. If superman seems to have died despite the fact that at the cost of Jordan's identity he could have had assistance that might help Jordan grow and in show format we might get to see that growth in more detail than any movie could ever provide. I see discussion on twitter and on reddit about how Superman is a dated character. I think that might be true when looking at telling another origin story and whatnot. Where I think he can stand out now is as a already developed character like he is in this amazing show. Superman himself dealing with challenges people can relate to like raising a family and struggling with raising their kids has been phenomonal and it's a shame James Gunn doesn't realize it's potential.

One of the best parts of Superman & Lois is that Lois is not a secondary character nor simply a damsel in distress. It's their combo as a couple and parents that make the arc of the show work. The challenge for S4 is to keep that dynamic, without being overwhelmed by the "world without Superman" story with Steel, Superboy, Eradicator, etc. The "super" and meta stuff is not as impactful without the heart and half that is Lois.
At this point, i dont want to see trailer to season 4 when it comes out. I dont want to know if they are doing Death of the Superman or they troll us with that cliffhanger.
The portrayal of Lex has been pretty atrocious. The only thing that makes him Lex is the bald head and the name. The character is radically different. So I'd say he's definitely not the best.
@@HelplessTeno radically different in an interesting way. The storyline with him creating Doomsday is practically WAY more executed than in BvS with Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex. And him being this dark and ruthless is honestly refreshing from Lex’s previous live action portrayals

Would be awesome except isn't Steel one of the (many) actors who won't be back next season? Seems that you would need Steel to do a proper Death of Superman story arc. Would be a good story arc for Jordan to have to grow up and get some maturity pretty quickly to suddenly have to become Superboy and realize how tough it was for his dad to be a real hero.

I called it!!!!! I knew it!!! Doomsday did arrive! Loved Doomsday's design (Even though Zack Snyder's is still better! #SellSnyderVerseToNetflix!) The finale of Superman & Lois' 3rd season almost ends exactly how I thought it would! I was really expecting to see Superman die at the end of the episode, but I have a gut feeling they are saving that for next season! And then when Superman is resurrected, he will wear his black suit! Perfect callback to the comics! I am so sad that they are cutting back on the supporting cast! I know that Sarah and Kyle are returning, but I am sad that Dylan Walsh is not returning! They seemed to hint that he is dead! I am also hoping Chrissy comes back, since they announced that she is pregnant. It would be fun to see her asking Lois about what it was like being a parent! I am hoping that next season is their last season, mainly because I feel that you won't need to do a whole other season after next season, unless it ends on a cliffhanger also LOL Love this show so much, and I am glad that it did not end the way it could've! Ok theory: doomsday returns to earth halfway through season 4 and Jordan,Steel and Tal-Rho all get defeated but then when all hope seems lost we get og clone superboy shows up and sends him to the end of time and his story is that during the time jump lex Luther cloned him and he’s the new “Superman” but later when they confront Lex about him Lex reveals that the new superboy just showed up and threatened him and said if Lex didn’t support him he would kill him. And the reveal is the superboy is actually the persuader of the Fatal Five without his ax and mask and for a maybe final half or a season 5 maybe it’s Superman vs the Fatal 5 who were sent back in time to kill Jordan so he doesn’t inspire the legion of superheroes so they don’t exist so darkseid can take over

We will see lex back in contro while jordan, steel and maybe morgan trying to keep the world safe. We will then see cyborb superman (made by lexcorp) acting as the real clarke kent/superman. Lois and the kids try to prove he is fake. Then by the middle of season, we see real superman in black suit and beard being healed in the fortress with amnesia. Questioning why things are different from the source is important. if you just go "whatever, who cares" every time writers change a well-established story or arc, you get the absolutely dogshit comic book stuff we've gotten lately. If you're going to do something new, you need to establish new rules in that universe to explain why things are different. That's why people question why things are the way they are. Just because it's a comic book show, doesn't mean you can do whatever you want without reason. You need an in-universe method of telling viewers why things are the way they are, ESPECIALLY if you're varying from source material.

Damn, this was an awesome fight!!!! This Doomsday is show much more dangerous then any other version, because it doesn’t just have the baseline Doomsday powers, but it has some of Bizarro’s old powers too. I haven’t feel this upset/bummed out for a superhero show cliffhanger since the finale of Agents of Shield: Season 6.

You need an in-universe method of telling viewers why things are the way they are, ESPECIALLY if you're varying from source material.

Bizarro/Doomsday was injected/revived with the serum made from Superman's blood stolen from the DOD by Bruno Mannheim. So he is now essentially a hybrid.

This Doomsday is show much more dangerous then any other version, because it doesn’t just have the baseline Doomsday powers, but it has some of Bizarro’s old powers too.
I haven’t feel this upset/bummed out for a superhero show cliffhanger since the finale of Agents of Shield: Season 6.
