😂👍👍 I take you experienced the same? This one would have the potential as well but I have tested it several times. So far so good. What I decided to do is not jerk mine unless I’m in an emergency. For casual use I just pop it out
Yep, love how secure the Ulti Clips are but it quickly eats away at the edge of you pocket or seam just like some folder pocket clips do. Discreet Carry Concepts clip looks that bit slicker and more streamlined🤔
Awesome. I'm getting one if those clips. I'm definitely looking for any and all concealed carry ideas. I've open carried both knives and guns, and both caused problems unfortunately.
That's a cool upgrade. I suppose you can install it backwards to your current setup, assuming the spacing on the holes in the sheath allow for it I'm think of mounting it under your coat in the small of your back where that might be useful. The second catch from the bottom definitely makes it more secure in my opinion. My clipped pocket folder doesn't have one of those and it has wrecked at least two pairs of jeans, or at least the left pocket, still it's a small price to pay for that kind of advantage.
Just ordered from busse myself. Ran the TGULB a couple times but prefer 10”+ for outdoor work and their mean street/active duty for EDC. The TGULB is a great combat knife but kinda falls in the grey area of not great at fine work and not as great at chopping than a 10” busse like the FBM
haha, we are on the same path. I was really interested in ulticlip but now am looking at discreet carry concepts as the potentially better option. A knife I'm looking at comes equipped with a tek-lok. I'm pretty sure that ulticlip will fit the holes that already exist for the tek-lok. I'm not positive about this, but it looks to me like discreet carry might require a sheath that has the screws really close together.
Now I love Ulticlips & have them on several firearm holster & a few blades. While they can work on fabric they definitely do a better job with a belt. When it comes to carrying a larger blade I prefer a danger sheath from my belt as it swings out of the way & is generally still accessible when sitting like in a vehicle. Something for people to be aware of is in some states like Nebraska that blade "could" still be considered concealed as only leaving the handle exposed isn't enough apparently for the knife to be visible. Obviously bad LEOs will do & say what they want so be warned. Also I like to consistently carry anything for self defense in the same way & train with it. In a situation where I need to draw a gun or knife when time us if the essence I don't want to spend even a fraction of a second thinking about where my knife itmr gun is today or even which gun/knife I'm carrying as I seek to get a good grip on it. I've also carried & whether it was a t-shirt covering the handle ir throwing on a jacket or hoodie I unintentionally became a criminal as now my open carry was concealed which is another reason I like a lower carry for an open carry fixed blade. Just my $0.02. I do like that clip & it looks very similar to what came with my CRKT HZ6. Makes it really nice to attach to a belt or webbing or even to grip fabric & especially a heavy seam.
Hate to say it but ulticlip is a pain I the butt compared to the way this looks to work. I'm definitely about to switch it up. Wish I would have just went with DCC in the first place but I thought the same exact thing about these vs ulticlip and I'm kind of disappointed to find out it's the opposite. Thanks for the video man.
How would I go about choosing which size for a taco shaped Izula ESEE fixed blade? What are the measurement ratios that you usually go for a knife sheath for these clips?
Something interesting, clips like this are nothing new. It appears they have been reinvented or rediscovered. When looking at antique knives from the 1800s at a show some had clips very similar to these for daggers and punch daggers to wear attached to clothing. In the vest pocket, pants, or women’s stockings. I was amazed. I wonder what else is like that..
Very nice indeed, just what I’ve always wanted! Finally a solution to the ulti clip pocket shredder. 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Putting that on the Kobun sheath is a fantastic idea 👍

Excellent 411, I will definitely be getting myself some of these beauty's 👍
Just ordered. Thank you man
No problem 👍

Absolutely brother 👍👍
I do love my master tanto.
Thank you Brother for your channel!
Thank you as well!
I've been open carrying a busse TGULB for a while now. I still feel silly about it sometimes but GD i love that knife.

Love this knife my dad Carrie’s everywhere he goes lol this. He needs this multiclip for his knife 😅😅
Don't laugh, your dad knows what he's doing. I don't ever leave the house without a knife. RULE#9

Just another (big) reason i live in Montana. ☆

Anytime, brother! Yeah, the Ulticlip ended up failing me

I would email DCC and send them a picture of the sheath and they’ll tell you what hardware you need

Hey are the holes on the clip at 1/2” spacing?
I don’t have this particular blade anymore but I may have another clip laying around I can check. If not you can visit discreet Carry concepts online
I tried the ulti-clip didn't work out for me. Seems a lot better than ulti-clip
I like discreet carry clips much better 👍
I'm looking for pocket carry options I don't mind carrying a full length knife any options in the 3-4 " blade length
Hey brother check out that review I did on the Flissa D2 steel knife couple weeks back. It’s perfect

@@411Outdoors what was the camellon blade you reviewed I was watching it then you tube updated now I can't find it
Can you buy those same types of screws but thinner? (For the Cold Steel Spike)
It’s possible that the discreet carry concept Mod 3’s might work
Mono block clip
411, mate can you tell me which model clip you were showing us please? As it will give me a good starting point for my purchase. 😁👍
Sure my friend here is what I got
000131.5U Mod 4 - Universal HLR Discreet Gear Clip™ - 1.5" belt 1
MBKH1 6 Pc Hardware Kit For Monoblock
Thank you so much I really appreciate your help. Have a great week 😁
@@SmittyOne883 You’re very welcome my friend and you do the same
Thanks for keeping it real everyone sucks up to ulticlip and in reality they’re not great
💯🙂👍
I need 2
Does the clip come with screws?
They don’t my friend. Hardware sold separately
What are your opinions on Karambits?
I love everything about them except for the thrust aspect. I own two and love working with them
With a knife that big inside your front pocket sitting down wouldn't be comfortable.
I’ve done some experimenting and I definitely like a shorter blade for pocket carry. I sold this particular blade
I have a mini ka bar that's perfect for hanging off your belt and sliding into the pocket. I ran that knife for years.
Tonto!... "not tanto" ffs.
Come on man it’s not that big of a deal 😂If it makes you feel any better, this is an old video, and I have started changing the way I pronounce it.
It does, actually. Thank you @411Outdoors
