Child Soldier Day

James was abducted by an armed group in South Sudan and forced to fight. The animation is based on a true story and shows some of the many ordeals children used by armed forces and armed groups face, including their families.
Since 2013, UNICEF in South Sudan has supported the release of over 3,000 children from armed forces and armed groups. 12 February is the international day against the use of child soldiers.
