Honestly I didn’t know about any of this but it feels like I don’t see any Yoshimitsu doing that siphoning throw tbh. The king throw i’m definitly gonna try to throwbreak
I got really good at doing the figure 4 leg lock reversal in T7, so good in fact a King player once sent me hatemail saying I was "blatantly cheating"😂
@lambkin, would you rather Law had a punishable DF2 or as is? According to me, if Law could launch crouching opponenets, Law would go up a few Tiers or characters. OK, something just registered to me. Law has the 15F hop kick. And i can never understand how certain characters an Airborne Law with a snake edge???
Yea the hopkick acts as an unsafe mid launcher that will launch crouching opponents. It’s very good to have safe df2 because you can fish for safe launchers with minimal risk. Like df2 as keepout or commit to sidestep df2 without getting block punished
@@TheKingOfRuckus haven’t heard of it. My favourite movie? Uuuf you’re putting me in a very tough position. For me it’s a very hard call between enter the dragon, fist of fury and game of death (a warriors journey version) these are just too iconic. the big boss and way of the dragon where also good but not on the same level as the other 3 imo. Think I’m gonna have to go with fist of fury. Because that one had the most fighting scenes and some of the highest quality fights.
@@Lambkin-_- The struggle to choose is very real man, lol. All four of his completed films have a number of things to like(EDIT: I left out G.O.D. because it wasn't finished, but I definitely liked the Warrior's Journey version too). I think I would go with Chinese Connection as well because in addition to the great fights, I really enjoyed the setting and the way they lit most scenes. Soundtrack is also pretty damn good. Enter the Dragon kind of sits on top of a different mountain. Since you haven't heard of Wrath of the Dragon, I will also recommend Matthew Polly's "Bruce Lee: A Life", a biography that dives fairly deeply into his life(though they missed some things). Both of these are available in audio form with a free trial on Audible if you're interested. You can pick one for free and never use the service again, or get both. Whichever you choose to listen to, I think you'll get a kick out of it. Sorry to semi-shill here, but I haveistenee to both a number of times and you are CLEARLY a fellow Bruce Lee fan 😂
Does it also reverse the effect when Yoshimitsu does the grab where he heals you on break? Just thought this was a troll move but would make sense if so.
@@NiglDN the d,b,f2 version of the grab always heals the opponent at the cost of yoshi’s own health points and this version is not breakable/ reversible. It is just a troll move essentially.
thank you for the excellent vid again lambkin, loving your positive energy and bits of humor sprinkled in as well
very nice chunk of legacy knowledge!
if you have more i want to see it!
Love it! More videos please
love it, looks like undocumented hidden moves.
Didnt know some things, satisfying that you can reverse yoshis life absorb 😊

Cool. I was always jealous of other characters df2 launching me crouched when mine wouldn't. Didn't think of the frame advantage differences.
Ahhh this is why I never learned Tekken when I was younger. This information just wasn’t available

@@Lambkin-_- Condition the opponent for DF 1,3,2, then slip in the 15 frame hop kick after a DF1 when they anticipate the 3 for a low parry.
I've been wondering why I sometimes give the opponent health as a Yoshi player, haha.
Favorite Bruce Lee movie?
Have you read(or listened to) "Wrath of the Dragon"? It covers every fight Bruce Lee had.
