- Since making this video, A volunteer group has organized to clean up what they can from the wreck, as well as government agencies and a private salvage company working together to remove the debris. It takes a long time, but hopefully they will be able to fully clean it up

Weneed more people like you guys, people who dont just care, act. You guys are absolutely amazing❤ also, nice finds!
That's awesome you got some items from that wreck.
How about the DIve shops and Dive clubs around Waikiki? Call the Mayors office lol
The Ocean Legacy Foundation in BC, Canada does this type of work. Obviously, they're too far away but they may have an idea of someone that might be doing the same type of work in Hawaii. Could be worth asking them.
the ocean is so beautiful
Looks like a ton of fun!
Great job
Hi all happy Monday morning and I just wanted to say that you all amazing Supporter
Good for you! Thank You!!!!!!!!!
I like Shane organizing the wrenches WHILE IN the water! Lol
Great 👍 work that you 👏 do
Awesomeness. But i have a question about Lahina fires. Whats going on? I haven't seen clean up or rebuild. TIA!
I have been to Hawai’i a couple of times. I love to stay in the Waikiki area. It's beautiful. It makes me sad to see this happen; I know the locals won't be happy. If you can give us a follow-up to see how it's going,
A large float and a basket will let you collect heavy debris.
Coast Guard can clean it if you bug them enough.
After sitting there almost a week, I think any remains would be up for grabs.
My name is Jill to:)❤
Shanger .....wearing his "anti shark" artistic wet suit! Am I right about the design Mr.Shanger? Once I went on a shore dive in Maui, dressed in basic black and the instructor had a suit like yours and I later thought I had become "bait" while he would get away. ?? So, I was warned that it was illegal to even dare take a tiny piece of coral for a souvenier so this goof, after all the damage to coral here, will he be charged due to the excessive destruction of coral??
I can’t understand why the people who own the boat are not responsible for cleaning up the reef!!?!?!!??!!
So sad
Not how salvage law works... You should look it up....
Thank you! 🌈💖🥰

Do the right thing and return that property to those couple who lost everything.
Ilov you
Good job , what about cleaning up the fukushima radiation in the waters?
You’re right. I’m so lazy just cleaning up plastic at my local ocean spots.
None of you can afford a kayak?
Dang i knew this had to be trump, hes only one i know would think its a great scheme.
Looks like you obviously didn’t ask around the sailing community because the story you’re telling about it being an insurance fraud is completely false. Seems like you’re just trying to justify you taking advantage of someone’s misfortune. That boat had a lot of history, including the owner buying it after it had sunk in the harbor and bringing it up and restoring it. They spent many years taking people out for free and teaching people the love of sailing. The owners are devastated and lost everything. Hopefully you do the right thing and return the property to the owners.
crazy cuz i heard that they drove it straight into the reef. why are there videos of the boat on top of the reef with all the sails open? not that hard to stay in deep water on a beautiful day.
Why isn’t the owner cleaning up his 🤬 mess?
An accident doesn’t justify you creating your own narrative about insurance fraud for your own personal gain of internet views. He is paying a salvage company a lot of money to clean it up, as well as a bunch of others volunteering and they’ve taken countless truckloads out already starting the night of the accident. As you can see this is a huge job and isn’t going to happen quickly. It just sucks to see someone spreading rumors about something they know nothing about. In the future I hope you get the whole story before you post stuff like this online.
@@bradythomas1404 I didn’t post this video. It looks like the salvage company did a half ass job. Why don’t you get out there and help him clean up his mess before it kills more reef.
