No they weren’t, elektra is a mid character, X-23 is a mid cameo especially as we knew she was in it, hulk was a terrible cameo, Johnny would have been a good cameo if he actually did something useful, blade was decent and gambit was great, that’s about it.

I think the movie came out at the right time, when MCU had a lot of problems in the last 2-3 years (they just couldn't get on the right track) and almost every time there was failure after failure and the audience was not happy. This movie is a great tribute to the movies of the 2000s (like X-Men for example) and perfectly shows how important the movie will be, there is a lot of fan service for fans of these two characters and the movies of those years, which played a big role on an emotional level and the movie itself was made by people who care about the characters and their attitude towards them. I was very afraid that they would lose that "vibe" of the movies with Deadpool and Wolverine, but they hit the nail it even better than I expected on the head and I won't be surprised if this movie collects a billion at the box office.

One of the best moments for me: Seeing Wesley’s version of blade alongside Gambit, X-23, and Electra. So many great moments. Us comic fans were really like kids in a candy store today lol
When you think about how MARVEL just came full circle by having Wesley Snipes Blade back, it's actually pretty cool! To me it means they never forget where they came from what started it all.
Hellye. That mid credits montage with the Fox Marvel movies was a beautiful love letter to the fans. Especially considering how long they’ve always hinted and wanted to do a shared universe within those movies. Spider-Man in the deleted scene of X-Men (2000). Mr. Fantastic making a Hugh Jackman Logan face in Fantastic Four (2005). I’m sure I’ve missed some more, but they’ve always hinted easter eggs for fans 🫶🏽
Waiting for the theory casting when Wesley Snipes says "their's only ONE Blade". I felt that deep in my soul. Like, he knows they can't make another Blade movie? I dunno but having Wesley Snipes in it was perfection. OG Blade is the movie that started it all!
@@_davidboxing That's what I thought too. It's a pretty big line in a movie series known for breaking fourth walls. If it's a misdirection then I don't know what to think?
I’ve been a fan of Charlie since he was a small channel and he was the account that made me realize that UA-cam was gonna be way bigger than traditional big broadcasting productions as a format. In the past he wouldn’t have had the opportunity and we would have missed out on a really passionate perspective.
the opening sequence is better than deadpool 1's. also make you wonder why no one was digging up wolverine's bones before deadpool did, considering how absolutely precious and valuable adamantium is.
Yes, loved the integration into the opening credits, & meta reference to *NSYNC (Ryan's kids' favourite group in real life). Plus it was the perfect beat to a fight scene.
Just watched the movie. We got a very lively crowd. People were clapping, screaming and laughing for all fhe Easter eggs. Haven't felt that in a theater for a very very long time.
My family loved it! I am sooooooo thankful to see Wolverine back and hopefully back for several more movies. He IS Wolverine, so nobody else can ever play that role.
Watching all the Deadpool films consecutively might be one of the very best cinematic experiences I had in history. I just love how Ryan portrays DP and the vibe of the show with all the cameos even since DP1.
Just finished watching 5 minutes ago: What can I say about this, perfection, a love letter to us, an absolute masterpiece in every aspect, it gave me so much happiness I still can’t wipe the tears or the smile off my face. 10/10 from this Deadpool fanboy!! Thank you Charlie!! LFG!💛🔥
Saw it today and it closed out the 20th Century Fox Universe beautifully lol. I want to see an extended alternate version of this film because the trailer showed nice misdirection with the same dialogue but scenes slightly altered in the theatrical cut we saw in theatres.
Its funny because Chris Evans has said that playing Cap was kind of stale to him and Johnny Storm is more like his actual personality. Juat likes his scene in Thor Dark World. Good to see him bring out more pf his actual personality as Johnny
My review: 10 special socks/10. Never would have expected Wesley Snipes to show up. As for people not being able to follow the movie? Yeah, thats on them. Thats like only seeing Episode VII and expecting it to make sense. I loved Daphne Keen coming back and Wolverine actually saying some of the quotes from Logan. Her response was there, but subtle.
I thought I was going to have to wait until the weekend was over to see you post this! So glad its out sooner. I feel like no one in Hollywood will ever turn down a pitch from Ryan Reynolds ever again. Whether it's for a role or a script, everything he touches now turns to gold.
We just left the theater and holy hot damn that was outstanding and the cameos made me and my grown son look at each other and yell lol the entire theater was yelling after each camo I'm not going to say anything about the movie except that no spoilers from me but yeah we bought tickets to watch it again this weekend that's how good it was
I’m sure you can safely share spoilers here, considering this video has already dropped a lot of hints, and people who have come to this video have already seen the movie 😁
Caught this just a few hours ago! The jokes were rapid fire, so many Easter eggs/references, and just a great time all around! Several moments were everyone in my theater applauded ^.^
be careful what you wish for, I saw more Avengers 1 watching Endgame cuz I never saw Avengers 1, so, I can see Wade and Logan popping in one of those early movies in order to help 'clean up' the MCU
Charlie I've been watching your videos for years, you continue to make awesome videos, great job! Deadpool and Wolverine did exactly what it promised to do, great fight scenes, cameos and references, different types of humour, honouring characters, with a bit of a plot to guide the film. It just made me want to see the film again to be honest, not to look for more easter eggs but to just enjoy watching a silly, well made, sincere film. Also, seeing the Welsh flag on a Marvel character in a Disney film, I didn't see that coming in my lifetime, well done Ryan!
I can’t believe I’ve been following you since Flash season 3 back in 2017. You’re still killing it. Whether it’s Marvel, DC, or The BOYS. Keep it coming; alright, alright, alright!
Nothing made me more happy than seeing Wesley Snipes as Blade again. Its like he never stopped being Blade. If Hugh can still play The Wolverine, I don't see why Wesley can't do the same with Blade.
Seeing Wolvie & DP jump out the back bus window in full attack mode....gave me shivers. I don't think Joe Jusko could have made a more beautiful painting

So many great moments. Us comic fans were really like kids in a candy store today lol
When you think about how MARVEL just came full circle by having Wesley Snipes Blade back, it's actually pretty cool! To me it means they never forget where they came from what started it all.
At this point, I’d love to see him reprise the role himself.
@@_davidboxing from Marvel's perspective there's also the deleted Nicky Fury and Tony Stark scene.
@@_davidboxingI agree with you
@@MrGenieSnickers, which is a possibility, since they left the Others alive & possibly "resettled" into new realities.
The way wolverine stands n posed after jumping out the bus felt like its straight out of a comic panel or a game, was just so satisfying
Wolverines outfit was actually pulled off PERFECTLY! His helmet also looked so damn good 🎉
I effing LOVE how I just got home from seeing the movie, and what pops up?? Only an Emergency Awesome push notification WITH the full review!!!
Nice, thanks! I'll do a post credit scene video tomorrow and a full breakdown of all the easter eggs saturday morning!
Waiting for the theory casting when Wesley Snipes says "their's only ONE Blade". I felt that deep in my soul. Like, he knows they can't make another Blade movie? I dunno but having Wesley Snipes in it was perfection. OG Blade is the movie that started it all!
There’s*
He also said “There’s only ever gonna be *one* Blade.” as if to confirm Mahershala Ali’s Blade is scrapped 🚮
His line “motherfuckers still trying to ice skate uphill” epic!!
@@_davidboxing That's what I thought too. It's a pretty big line in a movie series known for breaking fourth walls. If it's a misdirection then I don't know what to think?
@@_davidboxing, or a Highlander moment featuring the old & new Blades.
*going to be @@_davidboxing
I’ve been a fan of Charlie since he was a small channel and he was the account that made me realize that UA-cam was gonna be way bigger than traditional big broadcasting productions as a format. In the past he wouldn’t have had the opportunity and we would have missed out on a really passionate perspective.
That's awesome!
The blade jokes are just.. oh my god, the chef’s kiss. That made me DIE of laughter lmao
The end credit scene 😂😂😂😂 my theater was cracking up with so much laughter
Nice!
That was def one of the best parts and the funniest part..had me dying
😂 I could not believe he actually said all that!😂
@@arturotorres6437 "Language" 😅
Actually got me with a gut laugh
the opening sequence is better than deadpool 1's. also make you wonder why no one was digging up wolverine's bones before deadpool did, considering how absolutely precious and valuable adamantium is.
Because no one knew where he was buried. Only the kids and X-23 did and obviously they were not going to tell.
and then Deadpool just uses it as TVA fodder
I had so many deep thoughts seeing Logan’s Adamantium bones just sitting there
Yes, loved the integration into the opening credits, & meta reference to *NSYNC (Ryan's kids' favourite group in real life). Plus it was the perfect beat to a fight scene.
@@matthewlee7405 seeing DP dance choreographically accurate as he decimates those poor TVA bastards was so amusing.
Awesome!
Just watched it, it was amazing! It rly was the Multiverse of Madness we wanted
It paid off a lot of things fans had been asking for a while!
Its funny because Chris Evans has said that playing Cap was kind of stale to him and Johnny Storm is more like his actual personality. Juat likes his scene in Thor Dark World. Good to see him bring out more pf his actual personality as Johnny
Hugh Jackmans performance in the car when he's cursing out Deadpool is awesome. Chewed up the sceneray. He is an amazing actor.
Her response was there, but subtle.
the short "comic accurate" wolverine scene was wild.
The more movies you've seen the more you'll enjoy. Too much to enjoy in 1 viewing. Going back Sunday LFG!
I’ve already seen it twice, and wouldn’t mind seeing it one more time 🍿😎
That first 5mins itself is *killer*
Dance on point! 🔥
Gonna watch it a second time
Henry Cavill loading his arms like in mission impossible was hilarious
Hearing Wesley say that line of being the one and only true blade 🤣
Caught this just a few hours ago! The jokes were rapid fire, so many Easter eggs/references, and just a great time all around! Several moments were everyone in my theater applauded ^.^
Imagine if Deadpool & Wolverine traveled to Infinity War. 🤯🤯
be careful what you wish for, I saw more Avengers 1 watching Endgame cuz I never saw Avengers 1, so, I can see Wade and Logan popping in one of those early movies in order to help 'clean up' the MCU
That's what I was thinking low key hoping for lol...
Oh you just wait cause if I'm right Infinity War will pale in comparison to the planted seed that's going to blossom in Deadpool 4

"Scott finally aged!"😂😂😂 Also yeses finally this movie!! We have waited so long for this team-up!
The cameos were crazy, Channing as Gambit looked so damn good too
Disney going to make him do it till he 90 😅😅😅😅
Just look at Harrison Ford.
❤🎉
😂😂😂😂
Just walked out the theater, perfect timing
Nice timing!
It is everything you dreamed of and hoped for. It was cathartic in a fantastic way. Just go and watch and enjoy.
What a ride that was so fun man I loved it, I appreciated how unapologetically meta it got when snipes garner and tatum appeared
Glad to hear it!
You are the best!!!! Thank you for ALLLLL Your YEARS and YEARS of service and consistency!!! You effin Rock
Wow, thank you!
This was the best Marvel movie in a long time🔥🔥🔥🔥 i’m already planning to go again‼️ thanks for keeping us updated on everything emergency awesome‼️
