8 years ago I accidentally stumbled into the Opera house while Fleshgod Apocalypse was setting up, never hearing their name before and expecting a shitty deathcore band to play, when all of a sudden I see a magnificent woman come out on stage with a masquerade mask and starts singing opera, immediately my drunk ass knew something magical was about to happen. I yelled to my friend "I think this may be my favourite band, ask me again tomorrow when I'm sober," and today, 8 years later, Fleshgod Apocalypse remains my favourite band. These glorious bastards won my heart over during sound check, and never left it since!

Basically fleshgod apocalypse is too heavy for the symphonic fans, too symphonic for the elitist metal fans and lastly not core enough for the core fans lol
