@CONNOR VANDYKEr/zooooom. Them marching drums hit different man. They can tune the rims for cymbal like hits, the rim shots have at least 6 different zones, and the middle is both snare and bass depending how hard you hit.

I've been listening to classical music and classically influenced metal for longer than I can remember, but I've never bothered with this band... I have to say that out of the hundreds of bands that I've heard, this is one of the best. Absolutely punishing and beautifully composed. Incredible.

Ne Obliviscaris is a metal band with some epic violin solos. And guitar solos. You should check them out sometime.
The outro part of their song Painters of The Tempest has a long violin solo. It's called Reveries from the Stained Glass Womb. The outro isn't metal but the rest of the song is.
Censorship is so interesting. "Here, blood gushing from an open wrist, that's fine." But "OMG a lady's booby! COVER THE SHAME!" Cool video otherwise.

Fleshgod is fast becoming one of my favorite bands. It's awesome to hear them slow things down and allow the musicality to come through. Absolutely love this!
This is one of those songs that you read the lyrics for, and it goes from being great to being absolutely amazing just like that. Probably going to be one of my favorite songs of the year. Such a masterpiece.

Nothing super special about it, kinda seems like they're just pumping out the videos without putting as much creativity or attention to detail into them as they used to. i.e. cutting her wrists wasn't very believable, and the building with the blue roof in the first shot... The song, however, is pretty great.

+Banguts Reread your comment than my reply, if you don't like the song that's whatevs, but the splitting of the wrists, the orgy, etc all blends together to tell a story. It's pretty creative, bringing back the "aristocratic" flair.

Holy fucking shit what a song! And I thought their sound couldn't get any bigger/better than labyrinth. The band talked up this album an awful lot and I was doubtful at first but god damn did they come through. I got chills!

Brandon Dzieli for me its literally the best band ever. Period. They are so good that they ruined every other bands for me...i cant enjoy other bands as much anymore, all that thanks to them! They are so good that i always compare everybody else to them, even if i dont want to! Ive been a fan for years now, and its still the same thing today as it was the very first day that i discovered them...they are by far the best band for me

I'd say Cold As Perfection is my favorite, with Epilogue and Sugar being tied, can't choose which would be 2nd because I love them for completely different reasons, 4th would be The Forsaking (especially the music video) and 5th is Syphilis love that song.

Love it more and more for every listen! The whole song has a great eerie feeling to it. Especially love it from 4:24, building up with intensity! That background guitar with chorus/flanger? is just great! Then the lead opera piece, solo and then the intense finalé! Extraordinaire!

I suspect that this video is about, or inspired by Countess Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed (The Blood Countess).
If you don't know who she was; she was known for being terrified of looking old, and she was seeking to look like perfection. As a remedy of wrinkles and so on, she murdered lots of people and took baths in their blood to keep her skin looking smooth and young.
02:06 She is being taken care of by a servant, trying to fix her skin, and she becomes upset at the girl failing to make her to look good.

I usually don't like mixing classical music with metal but Fleshgod are something else, perfect mix. Every fucking song gives me the creeps and it makes me feel uncomfortable ...especially their videos. Sickness!!!!

you guys have to listen to the full song. It starts pretty slow but it gets pretty fast towards the end, and the ending scene matches perfectly with the double bass blast beats and insane shredding. 10/10 video and album. Worth every penny. Buy it!

So glad I found this band. I usually don't gravitate towards many death metal bands (more a fan of melodeath) but these guys are amazing.
The band claim themselves Death Metal / Classica. Anyway, every band have some mix of X or Y style anyway. They are all unique in their own way.

It's more extreme melodeath, but utilizes a prominent cello player throughout the songs. You may enjoy it. Cheers!
