Yes it is a piano you are hearing. A couple of other songs you would enjoy are Epilogue and Monnalisa. Monnalisa is the perfect blend of haunting and beautiful imo. There is also a video of the acoustic version of the song The Day We'll Be Gone which really spotlights the female singer Veronica Bordacchini.
This band is so good live. Better live than the recordings show for sure. Everything hits harder and is faster.
Yes, that is a piano. Theyre very orchestral. One of my all time favorite bands, i call them royal metal lol
I'm pretty sure that it's a real piano, but it's not as prominent in this song as it is in some others. Great reaction by the way! They have both heavier songs (like The Violation) and more mellow songs like Epilogue if you're interested in more of them. And the zombie thing is part of their look, like they are some dead classical musicians resurrected into our time and have decided to play metal.
This is one of their more chill, accessible songs if you can believe that lol. If you're curious, they also released a cover of Blue (Da Ba Dee) after they released this single. Kinda hilarious to hear that song in the style of Death Metal lmao.
And if you wanna hear more of their typical sound that they're kinda known for, check out Sugar, The Violation, The Fool or Elegy.
Although, fair warning, those songs are bit more intense than No was.
Very happy to see you finally checking out some FA. Although I do like this song a lot, it is far from their best. This crew also puts on an awesome concert. I was going to see them for my third time last year, but we all know what happened with that. I am so ready to see them again.
You have to do "Epilogue" by them. Also, like others mentioned, Septic Flesh and Rotting Christ. Maybe The Vampire of Nazareth or Prometheus from the former and Devadevam or In Yumen/ Xibalba by the latter.

nope, it is a piano.... and Veronica is an opera singer, they are classically trained..... they have a lot of songs that are more on the classical music side of things and according to me they are the best band out there at the time..... combining everything I love about deathmetal and symphonic metal in a beautiful mix.
Regarding the symphonic parts it is ofc sampled for the video but they have done coops with classical artists and the tour that corona f'ed up was supposed to contain a symphonic live section

The fast classical part is a unison part with the piano and the guitar.
If you like this septicflesh is the band you will love. The vampire of nazareth live version is a great one to check out.

Their latest album is called 'Veleno' and not 'No" and it was released in 2019 and not last year. So next time do a little bit research and get your facts right.
