Received-a-chance to operate the Arktos 150. Equipped with Cane Creek suspension. Now most FS rigs...they all feel the same. Have virtually identical ride quality. Just a-lot of gimmick & fancy marketing words to make each brand seem special. There's a thousand words describing the "Feel," of a Fox or Rockshox Fork. Same fork on a hundred brands, and reviewers give a hundred mixed reviews. Not Alchemy. Alchemy is truly...Unique, with that rear suspension. The shock handled my 250 pound frame with confidence in the Adirondack mountains. The Helm fork, was smooth on every bump, rock, and crater. And the carbon frame, was stealthy quiet, stiff, and a delight to throw over the shoulder to carry on too steep descents. Now if I could afford the price, I'd purchase one. That's why it's good to have a wealthy friend, that loves mountain biking with weaponry from a loyal brand such as Alchemy.
@@MTBCoop I only did one short loop on the 135 but it felt like it climbed well and handled the chunk well. For the price their spec is really good and the bike is very attractive. Looking to get one for a longer term review.
I randomly rode one and now own one. It feels like it retains all of the energy and then releases it. It's almost a strange feeling. Another description is that it lunges forward with pedal strokes...very athletic feeling. I have had a ton of bikes and its my 10 out of 10 perfect bike.

Rode the 135 and 120 Arktos in Sedona and was very surprised. Would love to get a long term ride on one. Beautiful bikes. THanks for the review.
Yo! What did you think of the 135 compared to the Troy? Thinking of switching over 😎

Are clipless pedals out of question. Ive never used them but feel like you gain power on upstroke....
I ride clipless pedals! I've mostly been using clipless pedals with a fairly large platform, like Crank Brothers Mallets.
How does the sine suspension feel? Does it have some pedal bob when climbing or heavy strokes out of corners?

The pedal bob is hardly noticeable, honestly. It's a very stable suspension platform, keeps most of your energy going to the pedals.
