I love that you don't waste time with overly elaborate intros and you jump right into the information. I really appreciate it, and i wish more creators did that.
Most UA-cam tutorials: * Ten minutes of introduction. * "With no further a do." * Five minutes of further a do. * Please like and subscribe. * Five minutes of rehashing what was in the intro. * One minute of the actual content. * Five minutes of outro.
Duuude this is amazing!! I was interested in the audio interactive thing but couldn't figure out how to make it work. I think you're the first to make a tutorial on it and it's such a game changer for my game!!
Wow bro you came back!!! You remember my comment from your last video??? This was a really great tutorial❤❤ I want to ask that can you please make in depth tutorials about these because i am struggling with these : 1. Virtual joystick to move player in mobile games 2. Everything about making sprite sheets animations and the best methods Please 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤❤
i’m actually working on a mobile control tutorial and it’ll be out very soon!! for the sprite sheet i’d love to explain it to you on discord sense it would be a long explanation lol but i’d love to help!
Hi there! Could you please create a tutorial on how to make a platformer player controller with the following features? 1. **Idle Animation Direction**: The player can flip itself based on the direction and then play the idle animation. 2. **Jump Animation Direction**: The player can flip itself based on the direction and then play the jump animation. 3. **Movement Animation**: The player can flip itself based on the direction and then play the movement animation. 4. **Movement Logic**: Implementing the logic for player movement. 5. **Jump Logic**: Implementing the logic for player jumping. Thanks in advance!
Dude, great tutorial - thanks a bunch! I am running into one issue on my player's sound effects. No matter which clip is played, the first clip (0, initial clip) will also play as well. Do you know what might be causing this issue?
Can u add save function for your survival game u made saving player position is easy but with inventory it gives error as a begginer it would be really helpfull
i say you should, because what if that player has a video or something playing in the background on the same device and maybe they would still want to hear it.
Problem. You show how to use the audiostreampplayer to change music depending on the environment. You do this for only 2 environments and it works. I tried the same with more enviroments and the following happens: every time I switch from envinN to envinM, first the player plays a second or so of the music from envin0. Every time. So I always have envinN - envin0 - envinM, and I can't figure out how to fix it.
And one last issue. Within the same playlist, musics are chosen randomly. Is there a way to force a specific music? My problem is the following. I want to have a tune for when you are wandering around and then when enemies approach the music changes, to a more approrpiate one. You kill the enemy, you switch back to the ambient tune. Problem is, it is not the same as before. Sure, it is appropriate for that environment, but not necessarily the same, which is disturbing. I could avoid this by having playlists with only 1 music each, calling them like "grass1" "grass2" "snow1" etc as per your tutorial, chosing randomly the music the first time I enter the biome then sticking to it unless I leave the biome. It would obviously work but I wonder if there's a better way to do this maintaining a more manageable number of playlists (the same as biome numbers which, in my case, is 11)
Phew, no reply... well I found a solution for the 1st problem. Add an "empty" track with a very short (the length should not matter) "silence". Set it as default. Bam! Works.
Hey bro i just made a 2d game but I'm stuck in save system so i think you can make save system for me please reply if you can then I'll send my game file to you then I'll give you credits then you give me the game please reply man

Awesome thank you. I see you don't use linear to db (and back) for volume, is this a personal preference or is it not available in 4.3?
any plan for a battle card tutorial, how to place cards, turn manager and stuff like this? :)
You should make an in - depth series
i should!! do you find these "in-depth" tutorials helpful??
Of course

Can u make a tutorial for a dash in godot 4 please (as i'm for a platformer)
I’m making a game that contains no music. Should I bother making an sfx slider or should I just let the player manually adjust their devices volume?
i say you should, because what if that player has a video or something playing in the background on the same device and maybe they would still want to hear it.
@@dev-worm Ok, thanks for the insight!
when did u create the AudioGlobal variable and where?
project -> project settings -> Globals
well, can you make us a tutorial(s) for shader in godot 2D ^^ thanks for this video
i actually want to create a shader tutorial very soon!
Are you ever interested in making 3d tutorials in godot?
Problem.

I mean, I could eliminate it all by setting to 0 the number of beats in the transition, err. Of course it works. But then no cross fading etc.
And one last issue. Within the same playlist, musics are chosen randomly. Is there a way to force a specific music?
My problem is the following.
