Their (very few and limited) locations are marked on the map. You are very unlikely to run into them just flying around, though. But yeah, they are there.
The only thing you ABSOLUTELY NEED TO KNOW is that gamingbolt is a mostly click-bait channel w/garbage content. Little to no due diligence is done before a video is posted. On top of this, many of the "staff" have been caught making racist comments on social media & in videos. Thankfully, most modern browsers now have add-ons which block channels like this from getting clicks/views/ad-revenue & positive engagement.
The high ram requirements are for streamers and content creators to be able to record and stream at full graphics. 32GB is more than enough to play the game.
Heres the thing, tho. I would like to understand the extent to which the game's performance will be impacted if the ONLY concern is the 16gb RAM. With an RTX 4070 Ti, i7 13th generation processor, 1TB SSD, 12GB VRAM, 360hz display, and 16GB RAM, it seems unlikely that I will be unable to run the game at Max settings 1080p 60fps. Now, if the RAM does indeed make a significant difference despite these specifications, it may discourage many potential players, including myself. The game's popularity and financial success heavily rely on its optimization. 💯
I'm not worried about buying it. I'm worried about downloading it and then streaming all the data in. I have data caps and I'm now hitting that ceiling almost every month! Unlimited data is an extra 50 bucks on top of the 120/month I pay already. I cant switch either because there is no alternative!
The career mode is big for me. I like flying just to fly, but FS2020 really came together for me with career mods like NeoFly and FSEconomy. I like having some kind of progression even if the gameplay isn't mechanically much different from freeflight.

I preordered it...I had passed on 2020 but still loved that game, however when i was getting ready to buy 2020 for a discount i heard about this one and everything it adds over the last game and jumped on this one.
My initial thought on getting out of your aircraft and exploring locations in "Microsoft Flight Simulator" is it's not a very good or cool feature but on second thought it might actually pretty cool to fly anywhere on the world map then get out and check it out in video game land. Depending on the quality and accuracy of everything on the ground FS2020 was/is a good game and they loosely replicate buildings and fill space where it should be filled but the buildings look nothing like they should. The micro town I loved in during my teens years resembled a logging camp from the 1800's. No houses and few buildings.
What would have been an even cooler addition (but significantly more demanding on the developers) would have been to also model terminals inside specific airports. Small airports like KALB would be "easy" but massive terminals like KORD/KMDW or even KDFW would be a stretch. Could easily see a career mode where you land one plane and then go across the terminal to take off in another.
For me, the MOST important update is an in-game, intuitive replay, camera angle, flyby ability, none of these UA-cam videos allude to this so I am assuming it still hasn't been successfully implemented?
