In today's vlog, I will show you how to install guru shower system waterproofing membrane. Once installed, you will have 100% waterproof shower. My goal is to show you all of the simple steps needed to do a successful bathroom renovation!
All in this shower system that we are installing is less than $600! And that is including a 36" linear drain. I know you guys don't know much about this system, but they have been around for 22 years in spain. they have track record or success. I believe that it is much better than schluter shower system, laticrete shower system and for sure much cheaper.

I can do Schluter for same cost or lower with flowFX bonded drain and have trouble trusting that drain that was used in video. Great video and techniques used!

shouldn't you put the floor pan in first so you can overlap the wall membrane shingle style so water flows into the drain pan instead of possibly behind it?

Haven’t you used KRSB Hard Core backer board?
Which is much more efficient judging from your videos.
KRSB is one step installation where this process is Sheetrock compound and then thin set and waterproof material?

What type of thin set do you use behind the membrane (modified or unmodified) and also what type of thin set to lay your tile on top of the membrane?? Thank you!

For both i use modified thinset. You just want to make sure its good quality. I use Laticrete Multimax Lite
