Yes sir you got it 🔥 Tip - Guys if you wanna improve your arrangement game you gotta listen to new music actively focusing on the arrangement itself. Helped me a ton. ♥
man. I didn't know, I could have several arrangements/playlists in one project and switch between 'em 😅 Anyway learned some today, as every Tuesday with the N to the D. 👌
Ive started learning fl studio a few days ago, yesterday i found your channel and i think its the most entertaining one, fun to watch and i can learn a lot

Damn I remember starting production on FL back in 2016 the only person I would turn to was busyworksbeats and now there’s more resources to turn to including yours! Thank you the tips and advice I’m def gonna take something from this video
@@NavieD Nice to hear. I like to make house techno and electro kind of stuff, from lofi acid house vibes to really vague and dark hard banging techno, which can also be aggressive. What do you think about house and techno?
@@NavieD I'm a newly graduated student of Full Sail University in Orlando FL, and Audio is what drives me. I do audio post production, to game assets, to foley and more. You're a great inspiration
Great tutorial arrangement and interesting compositions is an area I struggle with. A good read is “The Addiction Formula” by Friedemann Findeisen really breakdown the songwriting process
2 questions... 1 - What are your thoughts on OR have you programmed your own drum breaks in FL? I've been trying and I feel there's an easier way than how I'm going at it. 2 - Did you end up watching Cowboy Bebop? (you didn't see my question in stream on Sun). PS - it ain't the camera, you always look like Big Foot (with a fancy boy haircut). But that's what makes your videos so endearing!!!
Making my own drum breaks is something I seldom do. It takes a lot of sound selection and processing in order to get things to sound cohesive. I'd rather just use a loop. I have not watched any animes yet, I have been working on my course unfortunately :( I think you're right. I am just naturally blurry
@@NavieD Dr Strangelove is great. I also recommend my favourites by him; Barry Lyndon Full Metal Jacket 2001: Space Odyssey And also these; Clockwork Orange Lolita Eyes Wide Shut
yo man can you tell me what laptop you have? or what's the best laptop for running fl studio perfectly and also some Adobe stuff like after effects, blender and maybe some video games. cause im trying to find something that fits perfectly and i don't know who to ask. thanks.
Have you idea where I can get drums which sounds like that? And what vst's would be good to get this kind of melodies. I want to do some kind of boom bap beats, but with that atmospheric, dark vibes. Should I get something like Omnisphere? The drums are like pretty basic, but fits perfectly in the beat. Even when I'm tryna do a remake of beat like that, especially the snares sounds awfull... "Fox's Request" Underground Old School Hip Hop Instrumental Dark Boom Bap Beat By Klaxy Beats - Here's the example of beat that I'm talkin about
The idea here is that no matter how good your 4 bar loop is, it's still going to be a good idea to introduce some variation within the arrangement. And using this technique in the video is one way of doing so
Man your beats are always so dark and grimy, love it.
Hahah thank you Shermstick. I am a child of Mobb Deep. I love dark and grimy

"Fox's Request" Underground Old School Hip Hop Instrumental Dark Boom Bap Beat By Klaxy Beats - Here's the example of beat that I'm talkin about
Hey man, I believe these drums are from my drum kit. You can check the description for a link for my free ones that I have up
do you have several drumkits or just one cause i got one and in the videos you said "my drumkits"
Ah, initially I had that kit split into smaller kits I think. But yeah, it's just one
But if the mainloop sounds boring after just 4 bars, wouldn't it be better to rewrite or rework the main loop?
The idea here is that no matter how good your 4 bar loop is, it's still going to be a good idea to introduce some variation within the arrangement. And using this technique in the video is one way of doing so
