- Structuring your beats gets often misinterpreted as arrangement, and thats why so many producers fail to recognize its signifigance. Knowledge of proper structuring signifigantly affects your levels, sound selection, melodies, and your overall efficiency as a producer. This is the type of knowledge im going to share in this video.

@@darlisondossantos7092 yeah im probably gonna stick to that
I'd say both. I really liked the depth and level of detail and effort of this tutorial and I think if you should make more general tutorials like this!
@@felipedebarros2604 will do
Mannnnn you’re definitely the best UA-cam tutorial creator (music wise) that I’ve discovered. Really appreciate your motivation to provide easy to understand, clear cut tutorials big ups man🙏🏾
thx g
@@Finnathegod@1:37 you mention an AI. How do I find it?
Bruh when you do the “bad examples” I literally DIE every time 😂😂
Didn't realise you were such a new UA-camr figured with all the helpful knowledge you'd been on here since 2010 keep uploading your content really helps especially the mixing and choosing the right sounds
Super high quality videos man keep going!
thank g, means alot comin from you
i love how indepth you are and how you show plenty of examples , you make it very easy for new producers to understand exactly what you are saying , Thanks man , one of the best teachers online for the producers and you are fairly new!! looking foward to more bro!!
So glad I came across your channel. You provide more value and insight on production than majority of the youtube producers. Keep it up!
thx for saving my music production life
Dude, I love your channel so much. You have a savant vibe (it's commendable, but not usual, to really go out and take the time to reproduce hundreds of beats) and a sharp humour. Watching you makes me feel like you're really smart, and I'm really smart too, and we're paciently dissecting some modern hip hop.
I'm starting my path as a producer (I've been doing it seriously for two months now) and you're teaching me a lot. I didn't have this mindset of embracing repetition, like, I would've rather keep my best melody for the chorus, instead of letting it run the beat.
Anyways, much love from Brazil, keep doing it, I'll support your channel the best I can :)
bro the certified hood classic shit was funny as hell😭 great vid u really go into depth.
Another high quality video g, I can’t wait for the metro tutorial.
Thank you for uploading videos, there’s nothing on UA-cam like this and it’s extremely helpful

Thank you
I am exited for the ASAP Rocky tutorial👀
This is major key 🔑
I'm French producer and I totally agree about all theses things ! Structure is a theme that hasn't sufficiently addressed in a specific way. So thanks a lot for the contribution!! I hope you'll do others Tips like that for example : How can you create variation from the basic pattern ? How to Not feel the "loop" on the beat ? Differents way to placed the transition like Cutting, fills or FX etc. .
Thank you again !

yha your channel is dope keep up with the good content
Rain man of rap. You are officially a conesoure!
Thanks for this 👌🏽 Im trying to make my own beats and that helped!
I love how you did a breakdown on how to structure a good song! This helped me out so much!! Thank you!!
how tf are u verified
Great video Bro... I also add that great sound selection and music theory composition are a fundamental part of making the flow and connection of the different parts of a song (structure) more efficient.

Certified hood classic had me weak 🤣😆
Brilliant mate, 2022 and it still holds the value. If i may suggest, could you elaborate a little bit more on structure itself :) maybe do a lil short video :)
hey grt channel im new to the game but since I started watching your work I've been an avid fan thanx for being so real...$$$
Man you should be up for an award for the FL tutorials lol!
yo ik this vid only got like 8k compared to your ones, tens of thousands but thats only cause alot of "producers" nowadays scouring yt arent looking to learn theyre looking for somebody to copy and cheat off of. i just wanna say that i 100% appreciate this video and many others like it. its very useful and a topic that not alot of youtubers cover. so please dont stop making videos like this it helped alot

Could you do an infographic bro! Could use this as a poster on my wall! Big LOVE from Denmark!
The man is going to get a lot of kids rich knowing this much
Best producer content i seen in a while do you sound design ?? if you do do a tutorial on that and making melodies
a little bit, i do more sound design with effects, rather than through synths. Imma do melodies next
@@Finnathegod can't wait to get notified you dropped a melody tutorial 💎
Sup bro! First of all, you're work is so valuable! Thank u so much for this. I've never seen such detailed beatmaking vídeos like this before. Now, I have a question: when you say to consistently using a prechorus before every chorus, you mean a prechorus is a must in every single beat, or what you trying to say is "either use a prechorus before all chorus in a beat, or don't use it at all"? And why?
nice
Arrangement is key
yessir
Nice tutorial!!! Feel like I go against some of these rules you're laying out but still get where you're coming from. Certain things I'm just gonna keep doing no matter what anyone tells me. But ya def got some things out of this one!!
Love your vids just subscribed would you please make a tutorial about mixing? I love these in depth tutorial vids thank you so much for investing your time and making them. Much success to you good sir.
np, just uploaded it actually
@@Finnathegod oh shiiiitt gonna check it out right now just discovered you like 30 mins ago lol so I did not check ur uploads thanks
When you say 2 bars I assume you mean double time, so actually 4 bars.
yeah I was mad confused ab that p sure that's what he meant lolol
Know I'm late just getting to this vid, but I actually just saw in another video (paraphrasing mad crazy) that a lot of people will actually mean double the time. Thats what confused me too until I remembered the very last video I saw lol
I don't make "beats", I make orchestral/rock/alternative/pop music, but many tips which you give are valuable across different musical genres. Thank you and keep up the good work.
Yeah, this is specific to hip-hop and even some modern Pop. But it's a great formula to follow in any genre just because it's concise and clean
Who the f is this dude n where the hell did he come from with all these gems? Loving all the knowledge you're droppin bro!
