I really wish this show didn't get cancelled. All 3 seasons are fantastic.
This show blew me away. I was always worried going into the next season and then my worries were always quelled because every season felt better and bigger than the last. Really wish it hadn’t been canceled. So sad
Love this show! Personally I’d say 3 > 2 > 1, but they’re all great! Also really like that they finally made more compelling characters to interact with Ash; Pablo and Kelly were amazing additions
I personally think that the show got progressively better with each season.
If there was a time to do season 4, is now with the success of the movie.
It was actually announced last year by Campbell,that they’re working on an animated revival to the series,with him reprising his role as Ash.

3. Season 2 10/10

F yeah!!!!! My favorite show of all time! My ranking from best to least best:
1. Season 1 (fell in love with this show by the first 4 minutes, love the cast, humor, action, cinematography and all the groovy stuff that made the Evil Dead awesome in the first place)
2. Season 3 (by the time it ended it was my favorite season, but no matter how dramatic or epic this was, especially by the end, it just doesn't feel iconic as the first)
3. Season 2 (another epic, bloody season, love it, but there were some moments that lowers it to the bottom)
These seasons are like the John Wick movies, hard to rank, every season offers something epic.
Also love the soundtrack played thru the show, makes it more epic!
I think they're waiting to see the box office of Evil Dead Rise to decide whether Ash to return In animated season 4 or an Evil Dead movie, I prefer the latter to see Ash on the big screen one last time
I don’t know how to rank the seasons because I really enjoy all of them and think they’re all pretty close together in quality. But Bruce Campbell is amazing as the Ash Williams character, I really like Pablo and Kelly as side characters, and I love that this show actually exists. It’s probably a bit too much, but the fact that an Ash Williams show that came out 20+ years after Army of Darkness and it’s really good is something that I think is awesome to actually be a thing.
I love Ash vs Evil Dead! Such an underrated show. I feel like all 3 seasons are pretty equal in quality.
I've watched this series all the way through 3 times. Even got STARZ just for it! Would you consider doing and "unanswered questions" video about the show? I've got a ton. Great video!

1. Season 1
2.Season 3-The first 3 episodes were rough and Ruby as the villain again was repetitive but that back half..whew!
3.Season 2-It takes some good chances but I felt Ruby's story felt a little off at points and the finale was awesome but left me with too many questions. I also didn't like Pablo's story as much. Good characters and the prison episodes were excellent.
I still like the most ep 1 from season 1.
Ya this is one of my favorite shows ever. Endlessly fun and rewarchable for me.

I love all 3 seasons. This show never gets old to me.
Freaking love this show and I’m so glad that you watched it. To me each season is good for their own reason but of course the best part of the show is Ash himself. I do agree with your points about the certain flaws in season 2 but I still love it.
If they go animated, I want Genndy and Primal crew.
I’m excited for the animated revival/season 4.
For me, the first 5-6 minutes of the show were ROUGH to get through. But after that, it's all classic Evil Dead fun

From what I'm aware, your ranking is the same as the popular consensus. Or at least the same as my ranking. I liked a lot of the ideas in season 2 but agree they weren't done too well. Going back to the cabin yet again also felt a bit old and one time too much. Also, the final two episodes were a little poor on the writing end. Season one is really fun, but I disagree on why the show is happening. Ash is a huge fucking idiot, which wss firmly established in Army of Darkness. And season 3 gave SOME character development that I loved. And I also just loved every moment and interaction between Ash and Brandy and Ash just being a terrible father.
Edit: There's no confirmation as of yet, but there are talks of doing an animated continuation of the show from where it left off in the future. Mainly because Bruce doesn't want to play Ash in live action anymore. But he said he's still up for doing the voice. So here's hoping the success of the new film gives Warner Bros. the confidence to do that.
For me the ranking is 3 > 2 > 1 and my opinion is that all 3 seasons are good, the first one reintroduced us to the Evil Dead universe and then the rest expanded on it and permitted themselves to have more fun with the worldbuilding, whilst 3 was very good and paid off multiple arcs.
I'm so bummed it was canceled.
The one thing that I can say about Evil Dead which I didn't like is that they rely too much on an evil Ash duplicate, we had a few in the movies, we had a few in the show, it gets tiring to a point.

I'm sorry, but S3 is actually awful. The writing is just bad. It rehashes the same villain, setting, Evil Ash, and makes Ash and Kelly make stupid choices for the sake of the plot. Ash's daughter is also just so unlikeable in the first half. The town just ignores the fact that Ash killed a Deadite in front of them in S2 for the sake of plot covinience. It's terrible
I still enjoyed watching it but I agree there was a dip in quality. My first reaction to the lost daughter trope is this is lame. And the mother had no personality. I have no clue what Ash saw in her. For all the reasons you mentioned I think it was the weakest season but I am not going to complain because I love the series.
@@94Trish There's still some good things, but it's just a sour note to end the show. Cliffhanger aside, it was just a very bad follow up to S2
