I have an interesting Fiesta in need of some restoration’ if you are interested. I don’t want to sell the car ‘ however would be happy to allow you do the work and pay for it’ if it helps you and any avid Fiesta fans out there. Not as rare as your car ‘ however it’s a nice 30th anniversary model which would probably make great content. If it helps in any way’ get in touch. I also hope you get your car back ‘ i know how it feels to have a car stolen,it’s a feeling that never ends 😢
Was it the trailer they were after as the car was covered 🤔
Thanks, mates, for sharing this WD episode with a touch of sadness 😥Unfortunately, there is some kind of "black streak" with Fiestas in WD. First time buying the Mk1 XR2 Mike damaged the front of the car driving into the camera car while filming. This time 1300S Fiesta was stolen a day prior to being unveiled ((( But anyway, the show must go on!
The sad reality probably is that it’s been stripped or shipped a long time ago . But there is always hope . Keeping my fingers crossed for Wheeler Dealers that it is found .
Just thought it was just a car but after watching the show. All the work that was put in the rust repair everything that car stood for I'm gutted for Elvis and Mike and anyone who was involved.
I don't know if we'll ever see this Fiesta again. Everyone knows it's stolen and it's now far too hot to handle. Mk1 Fiestas are a very rare sight on British roads so it can't be driven or sold without raising suspicion. We just need to hope someone has stashed it in a lockup garage somewhere and it is found.
Sadly I suspect it’s been stripped or shipped out of the country
Let's face it you can open the door and start this up with a lollipop stick, I've had many 1.1s and the XR2. Even with a coil Switch they still found a way around it
@@jvoricseems pointless. for all the effort it would take to undergo such an operation for a mk1 fiesta which lets face it, doesn't have the value of a sierra cosworth for example, which would be worthwhile stripping. It seems ludicrous for a car of this value
@@mr.summerset8054 you don't know fords the fiesta 1300s was start of sporty fiestas followed by 1.3 supersport then mk1 xr2 its a very rare car not just a normal fiesta
Agreed. It is hotter than the sun. They probably never knew what was inside and then once they nicked it realised what they had and then knew they were stuffed. What would be wonderful but highly unlikely is that they simply drop the trailer and car off somewhere suitable and make a phone call. Not hard but extremely unlikely. Very sad.
That sucks fellas and you put so much heart and effort into restoreing it hope you do recover it .
I.m a Fiesta MK5 driver and i love it. Huge fan of WD. What a sick mind to steal the MK1 Fiesta. They can.t sell it so bring the car back where it belongs. They did such a good job to rescue the MK1. So much sick and toxic people on this earth.
Such a shame and annoying how someone could of stolen the Fiesta. It was/is a stunning car and as you say so rare and probably one of the best examples in the country. Not just for a MK1 but all Fiestas. Gutted we didn't see It in person at the Fiestaval meet. Loved the day, great to shake your hand Mike and really hope it is found one day. But it's either out of the country now or locked away from the public to never see the light till some time in the future where it will be worth a fortune
@@Pete68T oh yeh agree. But if it's hidden away, assuming. Then when it does come out in years to come it's one of the best mk1s around and would be worth a lot. But no idea how you would sell it as they wownt have the legal documents? Unless it's been shipped overseas which I'd bet it had

Thieves have ways of magicing up documents
The nonsense is that the car is worthless to the thieves as they won’t be able to sell it. Can only imagine they wanted the trailer.
So just drop it off and let the programme have it back so it can be displayed for us to enjoy!!
Did no one think of putting even a cheap GPS tracker on it?
Devastating and heart breaking is an under statement for you guys, after all the work and effort in restoring it back to it's former glory.I hope you recover it soon.
A huge shame about the Fiesta. Feel very sorry for all involved.
I imagine of all thieves that could be caught, the ones that steal from a show with millions of viewers should be easier to find. Or am I just crazy?
That car is in a shipping container on its way to parts unknown.
It truly deserves it's badge as a hot hatch! Hope it's found soon intact. Happy 20th wheeler dealers.
Opportunistic theft. Thieves were probably expecting a Ferrari in a covered trailer parked outside a hotel not a fiesta. They probably have no idea what to do with it because it's only valuable to a small group of people.
At this time, it will be already overseas in some garage having the vin replaced with something else, and changing color....
Or worst, being dismantled for pieces. I believe It wont turn up ever again.
Can only imagine the thieves disappointment when they opened the door and found an old Fiesta. The trailer was worth more money. They don't care about the passion only profit. And this will be near impossible to sell. Give details of the trailer. This will be easier to find it.
I would have thought that the trailer would have been seen on the road on dash cam or cctv somewhere.
This car is somewhere and we are all looking for it. It's only a matter of time
The best way to find the car is to put a £10k reward to anyone that finds it.... this car will sell for £20k over what you would have sold it for now anyway.. with the whole story behind it... get the reward sorted 👍
Feel for you Mike, gut wrenching to see a classic be taken away after so much work. Be nice if the thieves just anonymously dropped it off somewhere, seeing as it's such a hot car 😢
Thought it would have turned up by now , hope it still does guys.
What's genuinely annoyed me about this is not only the fact somebody went out of their way to steal that, but they took away STS' enclosed trailer too. I've known Harry a number of years, honestly that fucked me off no end.
Sounds like an inside job to me.
@@riboidNah, far too risky for all involved reputationally speaking.
That was a professional outfit watching the whole thing. That car is gone forever now 😔
I doubt it, they shouldn’t have left it out overnight in knottingley, not even shopping trollies are safe there.
Am gutted for you guys I watched the build of fiesta on tv the other day devastated for you guys all those man hours elvis spent sorting it
Soon after watching the last video, I seen a white Mercedes Sprinter pulling a car trailer 22/10/23 5pm in newcastle upon tyne on the A69 heading towards Carlisle with foreign plates. It looked dodgy, but could be nothing. Also had a tinted side window.
This car is so hot. I really expected it to recovered in a few days from being stolen. Gutted and angry for you guys.
my guess is the car is already in a well known cess pit in europe that imports stolen cars
Hope one day the 1300 sport turns up. Keep up the hard work guys
Can’t understand anyone leaving a trailer unhooked and ready to be stolen
Police will have done nothing, except issue a crime reference number and advise Mike to claim the loss back off insurance.
Have you been looking and found it yet then? Coz that’s about a high a priority it will be for the old bill
It’s an old 💩 fiesta
My first car was in 1993 -94 & it was a no 1 fiesta - yellow with a black roof. It was the same age as I was at the time. I nailed the bollocks off of that thing. When I wanted to over take a car I would have to hang back & get a run up to over take the car in front. Good old times
Hope you guys get it back
Surely they have it stored in a basement and in a few years when no one remembers they will sell it
Pity no tracker . I suppose no one expected a fiesta to be stolen.
Unbelievable that nor WD is imune to this kind of thing... So sorry, guys!
Loved this episode as it showed Elvis fabricating. could your release more footage of work on the body as it looked like there was tons to do but only a little was shown
Saludos amigos!!
Hi mike and elvis those poeple who stole the fiesta may have made big mistake if only 5 in the country left on the road with yours then if they try sell it people will no its stolen so i think they stole it and its gone straight into a shipping container and may be out the country.lets hope it isn t and you get it back well heres to another 20 years of wheeler dealers
I had a green 1974 ta22 celica stolen.
Vanished into thin air never to be seen again. It was immaculate and I’d just finished a £4k engine rebuild/mod
😮good work
Morning. Have wheeler dealers by any chance got the fiesta back
I used to weld these up when only a few years old. I used to be a Ford fan as a teenager. As soon as I had to work on them I realized how cheaply built they were compared to other manufacturers cars. They used to rust just looking at them. I was 20 when I bought my last Ford nearly 40 years ago and never looked back.
Has there been any update on the car.
i WAS HOPINGTO SEE A PICTURE OF THE TRAILER.
Boa tarde congrats vai amén bom trabalho
I’ve had 2 cars stolen over the past few decades and it’s a horrible feeling. Plus the loss of money the vehicle is worth. Truly sad and frustrating 🙏😞 I hope the car is eventually recovered.
Marvelous
Such a shame knowing this car will probably never be found more than likely been broken up to pieces and shipped overseas
painted to match new vin plate and colour plate sold to mug somewhere soon
I see a new series, reuniting people with their stolen motor they could never replace.
Yea, good luck finding them
Did you get the Fiesta back in tact?
Probably getting a new vin and a respray 👍
The scumbags that did this to a gorgeous little car, they'll be caught. It's only a matter of time. So sorry for you guys after all the hard work that you did on the car.
Ci dranie powinni zostać powieszenie na szubienicy
Any news update on this?
Gutted its not been found. Did the trailer get recovered?
wasnt a sapphire cosworth stolen with a trailer same sort of area?
any update on a hopeful recovery?
I saw a Mercedes sprinter van in Braunstone town with a trailer.
Bring the fiesta back 😢
Its most certainly hidden somewhere, but the fact is that I guess its out of the country
I had fiesta mk 1 in midnight blue in 1992 just base model but nippy little thing.
Dear Mike
I'm so sorry for your ford fiesta 1300 s has been stolen from I hope that you will find her and in a good condition.
I maked 2 groups on facebook about fiesta xr2, and I'm the administrator of them, one about restauration of xr2 mk1 to mk3 et the another group about xr2 mk1 and mk2 for comptage refueling
I found an xr2 mk1 in 2018 at the bottom of a meadow since 2003 and I have as much work as on your 1300 (except the roof lol).
I put his March field trip on UA-cam ;-)
Would you be able to show me more precisely how you attached the box to the spit so that I can do the same on the one I made? A fan who thanks you very much.
usually bolt jig too bumper bolt fittings
Am sure it was the fancy trailer they wanted and got a fiesta with it , it's to hot to handle for sure
No lock on the trailer no cell tag device... your insurance may drop you.
Such a shame but I can guarantee its now a different colour and wearing a different vin number and number plates
There’s one just like that breaking for parts on eBay
Alguien sabe si recuperaron el Ford fiesta?
No apareció más debe estar por alguna parte de Europa bien escondido.
Won't be parking a trailer in West Yorkshire again 😢
Hi everyone. Does anyone no if the cfiesta 1300 s fiesta was ever found
I knew Edd had left wheeler dealers, but when did investigatve journalist Roger Cook take over from Mike Brewer?
I think this as been stripped for parts and rest of it cut up and scrapped
Think it was the trailer they was after
I hope you get the fiesta back mike
Mike should put out that he only wants the car not to prosecute who has it. Coz wherever it is I’d say they’re sh@@ting bricks as everyone is watching out for it. I’d say they panicked when they realised what they have
So they can be allowed to get away scot free and steal more cars?
I know Mike's heritage is second hand car sales, never the most principled career, but if he and the show agreed to not prosecute if the car is returned, it would discredit him and the show.
I had the same car but in red
you can not miss a car trailer going down a road there is cctv everywhere in the uk that would have been on a camera somewhere.if its not found within a week chances are its in a shipping container being moved abroard
😢
Stil not found?
On a shipping container would be my guess
I'd love to know what happens to the vehicle Mike travels in to go & see these vehicles as he never comes back with them!!
😂😂😂
The magic of television 😊
I was so hoping you'd found it, very sad
A sad day for you ..hope you get it back undamaged 😢
Guys Is there a factory count on these cars, The Identification #s of all the Existing cars made, The Police must have a count on registered cars, So if a new car shows up registered , The parts you just put on that car, must have printed parts #s so even if the changed the Tags from a old car, There has to be away to Identify, the stolen car.
I’d be gutted if my 3dr Cosworth got stolen What a really tough thing to go through. I hope you get it back in one piece and the lowlife’s that stole it are taken to task.
Congratulations on announcing to thousands of strangers of your possesion of a fast ford!! *Unwanted attention
Blah blah blah. You’ll never find it where it’s stashed away 😂😂😂
@@revveduprides5125 Darn...wont bother looking then!! Always people taking notice of stuff, all the time! Or comment was for attention seeking? 🤔
Attention seeking. Whatever dude. 😂😂
Oh i thought it had been found 😢
What would I do if I had a UA-cam channel about cars and one of my cars had been stolen? I would call out loud on my YT page with a clear indication of the license plate.
I haven't seen this information, so I'm a little concerned about this theft. I'm not saying it's false play, I just find it a bit strange that otherwise professionals approach it this way.
Yes, I know that you can clearly see the license plate in videos about this car, but still, you call out for info on a stolen car with this information clearly marked as well as brand, model, year, and color.
No clue why people were even looking for the fiesta and not the trailer?
Yer it sux if ya not a wheller deller. And its so easy to take even new cars if have the tech. Doin a nice car or bike is anxiety. Maybe insured but never the same.
The people now show boating the battle ship grey coloured minter ;)
Did you find the stolen Fiesta?
I say it's an inside job to create interest in this channel
Lets hope its not hidden away somewhere. It cannot be driven in public.
I have a feeling they were only after the trailer NOT the actual car……..
That’s been cut up for spares ., .. Shame you didn’t think to put it in secure car park ..
I hope you find your fiesta soon
well you won't have to pretend to sell it.
Im afraid to say it but I fear its long gone out of country in a private collection , thats usually what happens with gems like this, Hope Im wrong good luck fellas
Someone must know something 🤔
One needs to recover all surrounding ccv footage that is available. I am positive that the car will be found eventually. Good luck but perhaps place a reward.
All this on 12" wheels !!!
Even a high reward won't get it back because people
Won't stick there neck on the line
That be in container or a shed who ever has it best park in a road somewhere and make an anonymous phone call so it can be found,
Because the word will get about then your in trouble,
How many mates have you told you have the wheeler dealer fiesta?
And they've told there mates shh keep it a secret
Dont tell anyone!!!
Park it in a road
Anonymous phone call
Then your out of trouble
