Transaero Airlines Boeing 777-200(ER) [EI-UNV] Inaugural Flight to Los Angeles

New service to LAX from Moscow Domodedovo Airport. Aircraft was originally delivered to UA in 1999 as N205UA. In 2004, it was acquired by Air India and operated as VT-AIK. In 2010, Transaero acquired it and is currently operating as EI-UNV.

In the United States... when ever an airplane (civil or military) makes a maiden (first) flight or Retires (final) from flight the airport fire crews shower it with their water hoses. It's just long standing tradition that goes back to U.S. Military but has also been adopted by civilian organizations too.
Since the was the first trip to LA by Transaero, they got "the shower". Just a ceremonious tradition.
