I have seen both gravity and interstellar multiple times. And this score on this scene just give it a sense of urgency that we have never experienced on both the movies.
The OST is mean to bring about great danger, but with a strong sense of hope. This scene is pretty much a fuck over, so it doesn't entirely fit. But it's still interesting to see! ;]
"Hey Explorer we got debris coming in to kill you all, mission abort." "I can't, I'm not done yet, I have to fix this circuit board that's about to be smashed to pieces anyway." fucking sandra bullock
I think of the Pyramids, Machu Piccu, Stonehenge, Petra and places like that when I hear this. The music always moves me to tears…Zimmer has a gift and I am grateful to him for providing a medium to simultaneously experience and communicate with the Universe of today with those of the past and present. It’s heavy shit (no pun intended).
I like how they finally made a space movie that is realistic about sound in space and how you don't hear anything because sound waves need air as a medium to travel
wraine999 Well thank you! The ending was really hard to mask the original audio though because there were a lot of high frequencies. I really appreciate it though!
Amazing movie. 👏 It's so sad, but our civilization will fight for survival forever. It's our human fate. We exist because of our will to survive to live and our instincts are not weaknesses. We will definitely disappear if we will transform to the robots or half robots. Better to reject that way its the way with dead end.
As much as I worship the Interstellar OST, this is rather unnecessary. Gravity's soundtrack is *fucking amazing* itself, nearly on-par with Interstellar's. Just watch the reentry scene, fucking music brings me to tears every time.
All these millions could have been invested on building machinery to produce drinking water from sea water. Or to 3D print affordable housing for the masses to solve the high cost of the housing market. Or to manufacture affordable solar panels to solve the high cost of energy.
Me: Mom look a space transport! Mom: were!? *Space transport falling from space going on fire* Me: are the astronauts okay? Mom: Its a drone its a.. drone okay.. a realistic drone... get back inside
muy bueno aunque , he visto las dos y la banda sonora de hanz zimmer es mounstrosa sobretodo en el cine , gravity nunca me ha gustado , interstellar es una de las mejores peliculas que he visto
While I appreciate your opinion, and partly agree with it, I think you missed the point of it just being for fun. If you read the description it clearly says that I thought the original soundtrack worked much better than NTFC, as it should. If NTFC worked better than the original score then that's a problem lol
mgs108tlou "no time for caution" is a song for taking desperate measures in an impossible situation. Like the ending scene (of which I've watched your edit). "Mountains" is about a gigantic uncontroble disaster to which you barely escape. The theme behind the songs are very similar but still different. That's why I think mountains would be more fitting to this scene.
Gravity's soundtrack/lack their of was perfect. Yes Hans is amazing but Gravity is a top notch film with the perfect score. Remember Gravity is a "Disaster" film while Interstellar is a "Exploration" film.
@King Minty Fresh (UA-cam won't let me reply to your comment) I have seen the Flight version with NTFC and it's much better than all the videos I've made lol
"Gravity" has a brilliant soundtrack, especially for this clip. Its sound gives the proper feeling for the situation. Interstellar has also very good soundtrack, especially for the docking scene. But I think it is inappropriate to use it here. Don't get me wrong - I tolerate to try something new, but this mix is incompatible.
I agree that Gravity's music is much better in this scene as it's on of the best scores ever composed for a movie. But really? Not at all? It was just as an experiment and fun and I didn't expect it to actually sound better than the original but I thought it worked pretty well
Shining Armor Alright, I see you people complaining about this all over the place. The simple answer to that is yes, they sound similar. In fact, every song no matter the genre sounds similar to another song. You can't make music that's 100% unique, there's going to be similarities. Besides, they don't even sound THAT similar and Zimmer's is way better anyway, imo.
I love the interstellar soundtrack, but this scene in gravity has the music with the racing heartbeat sounds which worked well with the scene. However I wish someone would make this scene with zero music, as it would be if it really happened, the silence would probably be ever scarier.
Watched this movie when it first came out in 3D it was awesome... now that I have really bad anxiety and panic attacks. I have to take a xanax watching this movie now..lol smh
2.42 Perfect matched music
Agreed

I agree! Gravity already was awesome too
mgs108tlou not compared to interstellar, its a masterpeice.gravity is overrated
+Scroll back up pussy I hate gravity
Mr. Clean Gravity's underrated. I loved and still do love it. It's great I used to watching with my friend ALL THE TIME

True
2:42 perfectly timed music
For a moment I actually thought this music was indeed from the movie, then I saw the title again

You made It to the 4th dimension
I'd say it went well with it. 2:43 is perfectly timed.
awesome, the timing with the seperation
of the arm is perfect
I have seen both gravity and interstellar multiple times. And this score on this scene just give it a sense of urgency that we have never experienced on both the movies.
Someone needs to do the rescue scene from "The Martian" with this music!

You're welcome :)
Someone did
You mean Saving Matt Damon Pt. III?
@@yoboigeneralmike251 Give me the name or link.....please
I like how the song ends with the view of her drifting out farther and farther from end to give that depressed end feeling.
shoutout to the camera man. Really brave of him to record in space.
Interstellar > Gravity x)
No nice work guys, I have too much of chills =O
Interstellar + gravity + Martian = new space race
Os.m
This music IMMEDIATELY makes everything so fckin epic and intense
why this isnt a shooting star meme yet?
Am I the only one who wants to tear up seeing the legendary Hubble Telescope shredded to pieces??? 2:49
Hubble is a masterpiece
NO
It was only that first satellite traveled around all planets.
You should do this scene with Mountains playing in the background.
I already made a similar video, not sure if you've seen it but it's the ending to Gravity with Mountains.
+mgs108tlou yeah but the ending was lame, this was way cooler
Wesley Tomsky uh, thanks?
mgs108tlou Not your fault Gravity had a crappy ending
Mountains is great but I prefer Docking.
now that's way more breathtaking
the timing on the control arm breaking off the shuttle was amazingly timed
"Dr Stone, this is no time for caution." Awesome !
2:50 come on TARS ❤️❤️
I thought of this scene the moment I saw the part in Interstellar. Nice editing!
Proof that Hans Zimmer can turn shit into gold (nothing against the movie, its great. just a quote)
The OST is mean to bring about great danger, but with a strong sense of hope. This scene is pretty much a fuck over, so it doesn't entirely fit. But it's still interesting to see! ;]
I agree! I just thought it would be interesting to see/hear
"Hey Explorer we got debris coming in to kill you all, mission abort."
"I can't, I'm not done yet, I have to fix this circuit board that's about to be smashed to pieces anyway."
fucking sandra bullock
this makes anything sound super exciting
Gravity with Hans Zimmer
the part in the background at 2:25 is such a nice (horrific) detail
I think of the Pyramids, Machu Piccu, Stonehenge, Petra and places like that when I hear this. The music always moves me to tears…Zimmer has a gift and I am grateful to him for providing a medium to simultaneously experience and communicate with the Universe of today with those of the past and present. It’s heavy shit (no pun intended).
A lot of it doesn't quite fit, but the whole thing was worth it just for 2:43.
Zimmer makes any scene better!!
This film was so intense on the big screen! I was sweating the whole time watching it!!!
Amazing Producer
I like how they finally made a space movie that is realistic about sound in space and how you don't hear anything because sound waves need air as a medium to travel
2:42 my god it was perfectly synced with music
you're a genius!
Thanks lol
mgs108tlou You matched two breaking moments of one scene and track with completely different music, yes that's an editing genius sir :)
wraine999 Well thank you! The ending was really hard to mask the original audio though because there were a lot of high frequencies. I really appreciate it though!
wraine999 If you like Hans Zimmer check out my newest video!
mgs108tlou I worship Herr Zimmer, i will check it out :)
Even the Interstellar's music was louder than Gravity, but by the way was a good mix 👍
Spinning out of control in the unforgiving void of space would be enough to send most of us into cardiac shock.
How can the music of another movie be in syncrony with the action of this one? Amazing work of editing!!!!
0:29 traveling faster than a bullet-speed up to it your aultitude
Perfect time
Hans Zimmer makes everything better
3:09 there a perfect song for this moment i think we all know what it is
2:29 In game

Great
Any movie is better with this music!
Stop my heartbeat
Hans zimmer is the secret sauce!
0:51 is kinda awkward
You've to have some workarounds when doing this stuff I guess
mgs108tlou Someone else did this with Flight's crash scene, you should check it out that one's cool
Wesley Tomsky Yep I saw it. His is way better than mine lol
his version doesn't really match the movie really :P
Half of All America Just Lost Their Facebook
The Scenario in this movie talks about is a "Kessler Syndrome Event" which is fucking scary Imo
0:28 goosebumps
I love this music......😍😍😍😍
Amazing movie. 👏
It's so sad, but our civilization will fight for survival forever. It's our human fate.
We exist because of our will to survive to live and our instincts are not weaknesses.
We will definitely disappear if we will transform to the robots or half robots.
Better to reject that way its the way with dead end.
Look at earth tho that is so cool and she is just spinning in the endless void
I gotta be the only one who watches this for the music because the original link got taken down.
Interstellar = gr8 Gravity = Exactly as interesting as theoretical physics
•Interstellar Gravity• :P

When the Indian fella takes a piece of orbital debris to the dome... you know shit is going south... fast.
That was nice.

The clock is perfect timed with the vid
As much as I worship the Interstellar OST, this is rather unnecessary. Gravity's soundtrack is *fucking amazing* itself, nearly on-par with Interstellar's. Just watch the reentry scene, fucking music brings me to tears every time.

Lmao
Mountain is the best theme in Interstellar, 2nd is no time for caution.
2.11 chills

@@moonconqueror8600yeah cuz both movies are good
do you have the version without music at all?

Doesn't fit at all. Both movies had amazing soundtracks but you can't just mix the two imo.
While I appreciate your opinion, and partly agree with it, I think you missed the point of it just being for fun. If you read the description it clearly says that I thought the original soundtrack worked much better than NTFC, as it should. If NTFC worked better than the original score then that's a problem lol
mgs108tlou I would have chosen the mountains theme for this scene.
chigeh Really? That would probably work too. I think the scene is actually pretty versatile and could work with a lot
mgs108tlou "no time for caution" is a song for taking desperate measures in an impossible situation. Like the ending scene (of which I've watched your edit). Why would you have Dr. Stone detach from a long arm? She'll go faster if she does. That's basic Newtonian physics.
If she did it at the moment she was being swung towards Earth, it would have reduced her speed.
MilesEdgeworth129 I think he meant rotational speed
"Like and Subscribe for more!" "None of the content belongs to me."
Does anyone know how he removed the background music from the original Gravity clip?
well nvm I guess. I read the description
Lol, good choice!
