That pink yarn is to die for Leanne. I love that gorgeous hat, and your "yarn basket", haha! Nancy's sock patterns are terrific. I've knit three of them so far, and love her podcast as well. Another new podcast to try is "The Albanach knitter". Andrew is a Scot and lives on the Isle of Arran. He is very witty, and talks about the history of the area, and his geneology. He ends his episodes with a gaelic phrase and teaches us its meaning and pronunciation. I highly recommend him.

So great to watch another episode! Thank you! There is no way that I would have been able to resist that amazing pink yarn, either! Love seeing your tour (including your friend's lovely yarn shop) and beautiful FOs. I have cast on far too many things lately, including a pair of vanilla shorty socks, The Shift Cowl (Drea Renee Knits), The Easy Bulky One (Joji Locatelli) and Coffee Shop Wrap (Two of Wands). All because a woman who lives in the Lowcountry of South Carolina can never have too many woolly knits, LOL. Happy knitting!

It’s always great to sit and knit with you! I absolutely love the pink yarn! I think a road trip is in order!! Your weekender is lovely. I love the Canadian clause…no judgement here! My needles are busy. I’ve started a flax sweater for my husband and put it down for a moment to start a sweater for my granddaughters birthday as hers is first and I have to mail it. Last weekend I knit two baby flax sweaters for my friends twins! I knit two baby blankets. And I’m about to cast on a stuffed pig out of a new pompom for kids. It’s a great book! Loved seeing the beautiful scenery. I couldn’t believe you were having the same temperature as Southern Ontario. I love to cast on new things and had so many on the go. Hi Leanne, fun as always thank you. I love the Canadian clause! Rules are meant to be broken, life is no fun if it’s 100% vanilla, and my clause is as long as no one gets hurt JUMP!!! I’m knitting away on a huge shawl, it’s more like a blanket masquerading as a shawl 🤭🤣 over 3000m on a 3.25 mm needles a nice long mindless knit. Thanks for sharing, great knits and a lovely tour, happy knitting and safe flying, Karen.

Thanks for another great episode, Leanne! My sister lives in Courtenay and I have visited the yarn shops in Comox and Courtney, but have not heard of your friend’s shop in Cumberland. Now I am super excited to visit the shop on my next trip to Courtenay, especially as Peace Fleece and Manchelopi have been on my list of yarns to check out. I definitely support that Canadian made yarn purchases don’t count. I have been thinking recently, that with so many of us breaking our balls from stash, that it must mean a lean few months for dyers and yarn shops. So really, we are just been charitable and helping out our fellow Canadians, right?
