Hey, that's my mantra "Measure once, cut once....then go and by replacement timber, then measure twice and cut once." The build is coming along nicely and the pier is just excellent.
Ben, your presentation is so pleasurable to watch, nothing stresses you out. It is an absolute treat to follow your ambitions, thanks for sharing. Your practical work is excellent, you are an inspiration to me and many others taking their first steps into astrophotography. Keep up the good work, I look forward to the next part of your journey.
Hi Stephen. Thank you so much for your kind words. Gives a sense of achievement. Glad you enjoy the channel and I feel extremely humbled that you find me as an inspiration. That really means a lot to me. As for the stress thing, I do try to look on the bright side as much as I can. Most of the time things could be worse and I have found it is better to sit back and assess what's going on as there is usually a work around so to say. Take care and Clear Skies!!!
Haha love it!!! Think it is safe to say that there wont be any collisions with this set up. Thanks for watching mate. I appretiate your support. Take it easy and clear skies!
Thank you Andrew. I have tried to think of as much as possible, but mistakes still seem to find the way in there, even more so as the build has progressed. As a keen amature DIY'er, I dont think I am doing too bad. Can't wait to start using it. Thanks for watching and Clear Skies!
Thank you for showing us your build. I hope to adapt my existing shed but it's very interesting to see how everyone approaches this and I look forward to see your roof and rail system.
Haha!!! or a constant reminder of me being a right plonker......It would be a talking point though, you are not wrong there. Thanks for watching and for your support. Clear Skies!
Really looking great. Really enjoying watching your progress. I hope to copy your ideals when I build mine. I'm putting a list of questions together. So get ready. lol. Is your door going to have some glass? If not, a window might help with enough light to control some spiders and other insects. But please put that gear away until completion. It makes me nervous that it's going to get damaged. I know if it was me I would have already smacked it with a 2x4 or had a wall fall on it. I'm about as clumsy and forgetful as they come. Looking forward to part 4.
No probs J. I will try my best to help so ask away. The door will have some light going through as there is no window. Have not decided on design yet. Haha.... Dont think it would help then to let you know it has been mounted ever since I built the Pier.
Cheers Dave. A lot of love and labour going into it. The more i'm doing the faster I want it done. It's the wallet stopping me haha! Thanks for stopping by mate!
Nice build, really enjoying following along with the build. Thanks for sharing the cost too it gives me an idea what i'll be getting in for. I thought it would cost less.
Thank you very much for following along Stefan. It would have cost less but due to everything booming in price it ran away a little. However I think lot cheaper than if I got someone in to build it, which I will be pointing out in the next video. Clear Skies!
Great you have got some ideas from my build. this is the whole point of sharing, to help people out if possible. Wish you the very best on your build. Thank you for watching!
Looking good Ben! Coming along fine , it will be fantastic when finished. Only one silly worry I hope you covered up your rig from the dust , hopefully you just put the rig up for show when making the video. I watched yesterday for some reason went off.
Hey Tam thanks for watching again Yeh, don't know what happened there but thanks for the support and stopping by a second time. Yeh the Rig is well covered all the time mate. Im getting very exited the more the build is comming along!
Going great Ben. You've put in A lot of hard work and the end is in sight. It's Rob btw I've changed my channel name. I'm envious lol. I guess I'll just have to keep carrying it all out lol. Clear skies bud.
It's coming along nicely there Ben looking forward to seeing the observatory operational soon, still a shame I didn't know about the rails for the wheels as I've got a pair sitting at home doing nothing. Clear skies & don't get to sunburnt during the build lol.
Cheers mate Cant wait my self. I have already got that all sorted for the rails, never mind, but thanks! Loads of sun cream was involved for this part of the build for my pale skin. Thanks for stopping by and clear skies!
Nice one Ben, your hard work is paying off and the Obsy is coming along a treat. Really looking forward to seeing the finished article, going to be a stunner.
Hey Anthony, Thanks for watching. Any Luck be sort of operational by the end of summer. In the next few days i'm hoping to have ordered most of the stuff to get it weather tight so Im feeling optimistic! Of course things could change.
beautiful work, and I'm looking forward to the video of the observatory's completion. 😃😃
Thank You.
Glad you enjoying it!
