Heck ya that’s awesome to hear! There’s quite a few trails still under snow but will still be a great time and the trails that are open are doing well. The entire park should be open in a couple more weeks so may just have to do two trips!
Love this place! I will say when the jump line first opened, the feature in the middle i didn't realize that it was meant to check up on and roll. So i sent it to flat, wasnt fun, haha. i think turning it into a drop would be a cool addition. It's definitely a fun place to ride! Keep up the great work, guys!
Thanks a bunch! I know the jump line needs a lot of improvements last year we had no dirt delivered and conditions were rough. We planned on adding much more to it this year and probably more upgrades with years to come. Thanks for the comment!
Wow great work. Would be interested to know the behind the scenes story with how you got involved with Sunrise. It is a world class park in the making!
Thanks, I’ll have to mention that in a video sometime! I basically came up here, got in contact, donated time and kept building my business. It’s my dream job and I couldn’t be more thankful!
I just rode the dual slalom and jump line this last weekend. It was really good man! The guys that don't really jump can roll everything, and the rhythm was on point. I definitely needed to treat the second jump like a spine... I way over shot it in the first go. Great job. Also, Jaage was so much fun at break neck speed!
The slalom has several improvements and the jump line has been getting tons of dirt added daily! Look forward to seeing what you think! Thanks a bunch for the support and comment! 👊🤘
BADASS!!! I knew this place had potential. If you guys can tune the existing lines and create some other stuff this place can and will give y'all a boost with incoming riders. You definitely can make it feel like Angelfire,NM and Snowmass,CO. GUARANTEED a lot more riders from California and surrounding states will come there. You definitely need a mini excavator in your arsenal. Keep the updates coming on your channel!!
Thanks a bunch for the comment! There’s going to be more improvement this year than last! The boulders out here are immense and my tractor is many many times more powerful than a mini x and can hold around 12x more dirt per scoop and move at at least 2x the speed. I have access to one but I don’t think it will help me much on the slalom or jump line I’m building. However, it would be so sweet if they had a couple up here to work on the trails through the trees!
@@skillsandbuilds3987 That's what I meant, lol!! If the existing lines, non pump track and jump lines, get tuned up with a mini ex with catch berms and random in between tables in the trails, they will definitely have that unique feel like the bike parks I mentioned above. Have you been to either Angelfire or Snowmass? If not take a trip and you'll definitely see what you can have there at Sunrise.
dude, helluva job you guys did for year 1. Could there be improvements? Sure, but the baseline is now there and I look forward to seeing the refinements and additions. SUPER dusty out there this past weekend (7/3) though.
Thanks for the comment! We tried really hard last year, thanks for noticing lol 😆 I know there needs to be some improvements for sure and I’m looking forward to adding on. The slalom course is getting major work over the next 10 days 👍 then the jump line for at least 10 more days!
Hitting up the BIG MOUNTAIN DOWN HILL this year thanks for the work 🤘🤘🔥🔥🔨🔨
Hell ya, this place is made for a DH bike! Hope you get great weather! Heading up there Friday to discuss bike park upgrades this summer 🤘
I'll be visiting Sunrise for my first time, this weekend. Super stoked to check it out and see some of your handy-work.

I just want to saw the work you guys are doing is amazing. The improvements made every year are great. Excited for the future of sunrise.
Thanks so much! It’s really exciting being a part of it. I’m looking forward to next summer already!
Trails were much better this year! Thank you so much for your hard work. Can’t wait to get back out there next season
Great to hear! See you out there!✊

@@skillsandbuilds3987 would love to but probably won’t make it till next season since I had to get shoulder sugery

Love this, what happens to the MTB trails and courses when it snows? Do you have to rebuild them or just maintain them?
We have to maintain them, this was the first year to see how it was effected and it held up great!
