Thank you for taking me back down memory lane. I had so many great years of riding there with my son, until one day I left my right rotator cuff severed on the Western Territory. That was last last DH ride of my life. It was the best DH Mt of all time and I guess it still might be. It does a very high pucker factor!!! You are an excellent rider!!!!!!
I live just about 45 minutes away from snow shoe until I saw this video I had no idea they had bike trails like that. I knew it was a ski resort but there's no way I would ride a bicycle down those trails 😂
@@chrisburns460 I would definitely crash on those rocks and narrow paths lol I didn't know that they had those up there. I've driven by thousands of times and never stopped. I might have to check it out one day.
I was looking for a glance of beginner trails since my preteen will be taking a lesson tomorrow and I ended up watching this video! What a pro! Impressive. Keep it up!
Rooty pebbles has to be my favorite trail there! (definitely have to take split P! It’s way better than the original in my opinion!) You made it looks so smooth! Amazing riding! Keep it up!!!
As a guy who rides mostly flow and jump trails, Snowshoe owned me. Was there for 4 days last year and had 3 bad wrecks, the final one ending my season. Place is no joke, especially those letter tech trails. Riding up north this summer (Thunder, Creek, Killington and Highland) but heading down to get some redemption in the fall. Sick riding as usual Chris!
Yeah it's so much fun! There's really no other place like it, at least that I've ridden ... 24:01 ended my season last year. I landed far left and hit that boulder thinking it was part of the trail. As I approached it I realized there weren't any flags, so I tried speeding up and went for it ... Needless to say I didn't make it. Funny how much runs through your mind in just a split second during those scenarios!! Edit: after that bridge 23:56 I went high and stayed to the right, which is how I landed so far left after that drop.
Sick! Letter 'M' is fun but easily the most difficult blue tech trail I've ridden. You HAVE to be riding at speed (especially on 27.5) or you're going OTB on that root drop ... Found that one out the hard way since this was my "warm up" lap my first time and ride down Snowshoe! Been to a ton of parks and there really isn't anything like it. Best part is the Airbnb we stayed at was about 50 yards from the lift, and you ride from the patio straight down. Great video as always!
@@chrisburns460 yeah it's really nice having everything right there. Groceries, burgers, pizza, breakfast and bike shop all right there, so once I'm parked I don't have to hop in the car til I leave ... I'm in PA so it's a 6+ hour to all these parks (except Mountain Creek). Convenience is a huge factor on which ones I visit. Watching your video think I'm rethinking when I'm heading down. I think it was October last season when we went, but the trail conditions look A LOT better in your video which is obviously understandable. Might have to swap out a trip I already have planned and head down sooner.
You get so many video views and yet, SOME HOW, people don’t subscribe. I know the feeling and that it can be a big bummer sometimes… Keep it up though!

Dang man, glad you liked the video but definitely sorry to hear that happened to you!
Don't quit, I see dudes missing arms that still ride dh
Its hilarious how tame trail B looks on gopro.. then once you see it in person you're like "Oh.". Haha.
The GoPro effect is real 😅

It’s crazy what all they have up there! They have other trails for beginners not shown in this video if you want to check it out too! 🤘

At this point in my life the trails outside the park are my favorite.
I love the snowshoe backcountry! Some all-time riding out there! 🤘
Some of the best Snowshoe riding I've ever seen
Thanks!!! 🤟🤟
I love how nearly every trail is “one of your favorite trails on the mountain” … I can relate so much! Keep pumping out the videos dude. 🤙🏻🍻
Yea dude this place is stacked!! Appreciate it!!
I was looking for a glance of beginner trails since my preteen will be taking a lesson tomorrow and I ended up watching this video! What a pro! Impressive. Keep it up!
Appreciate it!!! I did not show any of the green trails in this video but the basin side has plenty of beginner terrain!!
Great riding man. Best rundown of Snowshoe so far!
Appreciate it!
Bro… you shredded the entire mountain. Goals
🤟🤟🤟
@@chrisburns460 you gonna be up there this weekend ?
I wish! I work at sugar mountain though, I’ll be there!
Nice. Like your videos. Good stuff
I appreciate it! Thanks!
I was there in July! Loved the set up and variety! 😊
Nice dude! Yea it’s tough to beat!
Nice preview of Snowshoe! Having watched all the WC races there over past few years I always wanted to put Snowshoe on my MTB travel list
My favorite bike park and it’s not close 🙌
Hey bro, nice shredding. You've got loads better over the past couple years. Question for you. What's your front fort rebound clicks at?
I honestly couldn’t tell you, suspension was set up decent when I bought it and I haven’t torched it sense then ☠️

Totally agree! It’s the best on the basin side at least haha 😂

Yea bro, that trail has a lot of unsuspecting rocks that’ll get you!
@@topspot4834 Ouch, I pre-ride with my daughter instead of hit blind otherwise maybe had same mistake. Love they put orange flags on it this year lol.
Killing it dude!
Thanks!!! 🤟
Only western open this weekend. hoping for a good rainy run !
Western is awesome on its own! Have fun!
Excellent video great riding 😎🤙
Thanks!!! 🤟👊

Yea dude, even the blue teck can get you good! The convenience factor at snowshoe is also unmatched!!

I’m sure it’ll still be running good in the fall, but have fun on your trip! Place is too much fun!
@@chrisburns460 For sure, trail crew is going to change the 100mph zone at the bottom of balln Jack. Hopefully it's done this Summer.

Tell me about it, one day!!!
4 piston and double d are pretty crazy in the rain.
I can only imagine, they are steeeep
I’ll be out there again in a few weeks
Good stuff! Hope you have a good time! 🤙
@@chrisburns460 Thanks man
Mean to ask you, what is Big Ash compared to something, say like Southeast Style?
The jumps are smaller but definitely not as intuitive and higher consequence considering they are gaps
The speed is very weird, first four I had to crank and pull like hell for, everything else I had to brake check
Fun once you figure it out but definitely not SE style, I’d follow someone or do a practice lap or two
@@chrisburns460 Roger that sort of seems so
@@chrisburns460 makes total sense thx .... maybe get to it in 2024
I miss snowshoe :(

Home boy is outta breath from going DH! Don't try a climb hahah
I have a deviated septum! Breathing through my nose is difficult so it can seem like I am out of breath at times!
