That was an awesome video and like always you guys rock. Also I'm the guy in the T-Rex suite so thank you for adding me in your video. Maybe next time I'll try hitting those jumps with the costume.
I feel so dumb for never catching your name while we were there! I'm glad you found the video! Thanks for the good times Peter! (send me a message on instagram if you have it, so I can tag you there later 🙂)
Honestly extremely smart for a tourism pitch. Make what the people coming to the town for free and enjoyable/high quality and their stay will help fund it with hotels, food, other leisure. The park looks awesome.
"Are you okay?" "No, I just crashed." She's awesome and justifiably upset, albeit you had her best interest at heart. I'm glad she's okay and hope she understood why you yelled.
That bailout Yuka did when she crashed was a perfect example of why I use flats. She was able to get her feet off the pedals and land basically on her feet. Nice save Yuka! Bad timing on your partner but you recovered pretty well. Again I love flats. I have been saved so many times by getting my feet off the pedals instantly.
"That bailout Yuka did when she crashed was a perfect example of why I use flats" Yeah, she was like "Bye-bye bike. I ain't getting tangled up with you in the dirt, you're on your own!" 🤣
This is awesome. Giving a hand to people who decided to made a town into a sport mecca by giving free access to a sport ressource. This is priceless. As a trainer and sport event organizer this brought tears to my eyes. Awesome video. Kudos to all the people in Valemont and keep the flame alive.
Honestly, I think this is one of my fav BCPOV (VGY) vids. Always appreciate the mental hurdles you both overcome returning to features, but this one just felt like it was a more interactive stream. Yuka laying down in the forest, waiting for the gnomes to rub her tummy....which is the most painful vs a balls smash, apparently...lol. Awesome share, Eric, great times were had and enjoyed! Cheers, Derek
I've got my camp site booked for next weeked and I'm so unbelievably stoked to finally check the place out! I just rewatched last seasons video to see if I could make a bit of an attack plan so I'm greatful to you for working a few more trail names in!
I can’t believe it’s been about a year since I last watched this channel. I’m so happy you’ve gotten some great partnerships with local tourism companies, keep it up mate
"Why did you shout?" LOVE IT! You two are so fun, and inspiring. Getting back into riding at 52, and after 10 years fighting 7 cancers, and absolutely love your channel.
This is what happens when you have riders that love to ride and build stuff to ride. As much as paid resort bike parks are amazing. I love the freelance gnar and tecky single track individuals build locally.
Thanks Curtis and the rest of the dedicated Valemont crew! Hopefully I can get out there one day. Also, shout outs to T-Rex guy. That was a bit foolish, but awesome at the same time.

You two are the kindest riders I’ve watched and I love how the two of you are always having fun. That’s the mountain biking spirit in my opinion. All the best to you guys ❤️
Ah hell, now it occurs to me that the Mountain Bike BC outfit should have hired you a long time ago. Your videos are just perfect for their mission of promoting biking in BC. That couldn't have been done any better. Now I want to add Valemont to my annual BC trip.
That really is beautiful to see a town revitalised and perform a complete u-turn to embrace something truly sustainable and enjoyable for everyone. I wish there were more town and cities like this around the world.
Hey Eric. Just wanna say hi from Australia and that your UA-cam videos are sooo cool. It’s awesome to see you riding with me being in grade 7 with me and my friend planning our trip after year 12 to bc and Hawaii. 🤙🏽
I love the narrative of your videos. You are a great storyteller. There is no shortage of videos on the trails in your region, but I still catch all of your videos because they are unique. You guys aren’t the fastest, most steezy, or the best at hitting big features, but what you do have is personality, and humility. Keep doing what you’re doing guys
Great video as always. It's actually your videos that inspired me to get back on a bike after 20+ years off of one so I'll be forever grateful for that! Keep up the great work!
If you ever find yourself back down in Portland, we opened a newish bike park right in the middle of east Portland called gateway green that's free and surprisingly good. It's made my life so much better. I finally have something easy to access. No more excuses to not be physical for me, it's right there.
@@BCpov You might be thinking of lumberyard. It's actually still open but they're closing down in fall which sucks. It was our only indoor place which was awesome during our rainy winters. Still, beggars can't be choosers and this out door park is an awesome, free community spot.
Omg bc pov you are incredible I myself am trying to make a mountain biking channel you were the first mountain biking UA-cam I ever watched you are my biggest inspiration keep it up
If you go to Australia in New South Wales there is this town called Kempsey and in that town there is a good bike track. It is at Kempsey golf course and I think you guys will live it
Just rode the bottom mountain. Bacon, Mobys, Downflow. Evening. BEST BIKE PARK I HAVE EVER RIDDEN. The berms like roller coasters. Confidence inspiring.
Been watching you guys for a while.. seeing you and Yuka progess in riding is great. I bike vicariously through you guys. Seeing you send jumps you never would have before is awesome. Keep up great content. 👍
oh man, I have to send all the time with the Pirate in the T-REX costume. his name is Peter BTW, if you ever see him say hello! Thankfully he doesn't wear that when I ride with him. 😂 Great video! gonna put Valmount on the list of places to go ride this summer!
Valemount was incredible!! Made it up for the weekend, and even camped at the top of canoe mountain. Even got a surprise firework show form some guys in quads who drove up at night to give the town a show. Absolutely amazing weekend, and the people at valemount are the best
I miss being young, and in shape when I used to ride mountain bikes in the 90's. The most I ever did was a Lake Tahoe ski resort in the summer where you take your bike up the ski lift and go down the. mountain.
This place looks great! I love all those optional features they build. I need to make a trip out west to visit! You met my son at killington when you were inspecting a feature up top. The rest of my run was great so I went back up the gondola and did it!
I'm glad a came across your channel looking for footage on Black Rock trails here in Oregon. I go to BC side of Canada to do BMX races and this year in May I bring my MTB. Now I can reference your channel for riding spots. Great video footage.
sweet video. Entertaining, charming and informative all in one. I always blow through Valemount on my drive to Alberta. Time to stop and check the place out!
Well I don't know what your content usually is like, but what a video to discover your YT account from! Awesome video, those trails look eeppiicc! Shame about the few ouchies but they're not unexpected in MTB'ing ay, we just pray not today not today lol, Looks like you both had a great time and I'm grateful to be able even watch this even if it's probably about 4-6000 miles away from me, I absolutely want to go there ASAP, these trails seem to have everything, even the Zen garden trail that looks beautiful 👌🏻
That was an awesome video and like always you guys rock. Also I'm the guy in the T-Rex suite so thank you for adding me in your video. Maybe next time I'll try hitting those jumps with the costume.
That was insane...and funny as F***. Glad someone was there to catch you on video. This bowl is for you. :) :)

Dude that trex suit was so funny
LOL, I've watched that part at least a half a dozen time throughout the day.
Really put a smile on my face.
@@BCpov YOU SHOULD RIDE BERM PARK IN NORTH CAROLINA
All the smashes the t-rex got from the trees were hilarious 😂
I would smash the t-rex 😏
I was very confused when I read this comment before watching the video. Now I understand 🤣
I was also dying in laughter with the head getting smashed off trees. Great video. This place looks like a blast.
I laughed so hard at those!!!
And the tail hitting the wheel sounded like T-rex was ripping a good one! 🤪
