Thank you sir - I’ve been trying to figure out how to incorporate more athletic movements on top of training martial arts + S&C. This foundation cohesively achieves all those goals!
thank you for the video.I want to ask if i want to progress in handstand push ups (this is my goal),bench press and pull ups .would the handstand push up be the calisthenics strength skill and the others are the 2 compounds ?
Handstand push ups are a bit of a weird one to be honest with you! They’re massively skill limited but require quite a lot of upper body strength. If your handstands are really good, but you aren’t strong enough, all your training for it would be strength, using overhead press or potentially handstand push up regressions which would be strength training. If you’ve got a great level of strength, then it’ll be entirely skill limited and then you’ll need to train it like a skill 🙌🏾
