I HAVE BEEN WAITING TO SAY THIS SINCE HE HAD 26K SUBS BUT I DIDNT KNOW THAT LOOKING AT AN ARM, HIS SPEED AND THE ROAD FOR 20 MINUTES COULD BE SO SATISFYING...
Well he tales as if he hadn't completed the BCT and that's why he says "I went to bootcamp" instead of "I was in the military" it was prolly medical discharge
Thanks for the video!! I'm 2 1/2 weeks away from graduation at my Academy in California. I've been watching all of your videos throughout the 6 months and it's crazy to think it's almost all over. Thanks again Sir!
officer401 I have a stutter. When I was younger it was really bad but now it's fine but noticeable. I really want to be a police officer soon but would like to know if that would stop me??
Questions for next vid: What branch of the military were you in? What was your occupation in the military? What was harder Military boot camp or the police academy? What are some of the best ways to prepare for the police academy? Also I just got hired and sponsored by a Police Department to go to the Academy in a couple week, very excited and nervous. Any advice for people heading to the Academy soon?
Awesome video as always my man! I put my application in for the police academy last week. Pretty psyched to hear back and hopefully join the force soon! Have been binge watching your channel for days now in preparation
Can you make a video about pre- police students and tips on how to succeed at Police Academy? I know you have a video about the academy but you mainly talk about what not to do. I also have ADHD so I can't not join the military because I take medicine, does the police academy have any rules about this? Thanks for being such an awesome officer!
Is the medication a need to have my oldest son has ADHD and doesn't take meds he changed his diet ,lots of exercise and his recruiter said he'll have no issues in any branch. I know here in Mass when it comes to being a LEO it's by department , and the Mass State Police is a no go they are very strict about even your past , I've heard it's one of the strictest. But try if you can without medication only if you can safely.
Bro, Fort Benning gave me some wild ass shin splints. Drive on! I'm a veteran myself, but law enforcement officers are a special kind of people. Thanks for watching over us brother.
While I agree that people mistake the right to travel for the privilege for driving/flying, United Airlines went against their contract agreement to their customers (I forget the exact name of the contract but its basically like a terms of service/list of company policies). Their first mistake was waiting until the plane was already boarded to start asking for volunteers to leave and get on another/later flight. The second mistake was overall just trying to force their employees onto that flight instead of making them take a bus or something (a couple hour drive beteen the two cities the flight was going/coming from). The third mistake was the two bs apologies. Love your videos though. :)
I'd be pretty upset if I was trying to get somewhere and they tried to kick me off the flight. Some people actually have important things to do where ever they are going or family emergencies may be going on. Airlines are greedy pieces of shit that charge 50 dollars to check a carry on and then expect people to just step off the plane when they need to get somewhere. Maybe, just maybe they can actually learn to operate a business and adapt that the customer is always right. Sometimes there's freaks of nature like one time a plane was delayed because of a Volcano in Alaska was going off and they had to fly around it and that was the airplane my flight was suppose to be on so I had to end up staying the night. I may not literally make them rip me off the plane to get me out, but they would be hearing from lawyers if they made me miss something like I don't know a grand kid being born? Someone dying? A wedding? There are irreplaceable events that happen in life that cannot be missed, and I don't care who says what. If I put my 400 dollars down on a flight for a specific time your damn right I will get from start to finish on time with no extra cost out of my wallet and I don't care if I have to use the CEO's private jet to do so. But that's just me.
When your watching the celtics game but see an officer401 video you just stop what you're doing open a beer and watch. Awesome video! Love this channel!!
This is just a question and I don't know if you'll be able to answer. I live in Toronto Canada and yesterday I called 911 asking if we could get paramedics because my grandmother was choking. The firefighters came first which happens alot here but then 5 minutes later two police officers show up. And then finally the paramedics came. But my question is why did the police show up? Do they normally come even if they are not called?
Samtaplet just in case officer401 doesn't answer, I can only speak from my experience. more often than not they send both FD and PD. reason is because scene has to be safe both for caller and paramedics, therefore we go to support. There could be also that they need anyone to get there quick, either or both to perform basic CPR. Until the call is deemed a medical call and not criminal offense, more often than not, both Fire and Police will respond.
thank you for making this video I am former army and a co but I'm going through the process of becoming PD and this is a great video informative and motivational
why don't you use afterhours anymore do you remove the duty belt video and if so you can watch it cause of your instagram picture with the link how long do you/ the average need to becom a detective
It is crazy how I came here during 4K subs and classic intro music still was in use, now 401 has over 300K subs. The good old days will never be forgotten! 😀
Hey Officer401. Im currently a Sophomore in High School - What steps do you suggest I should take between now and when I enroll into the Police Academy (If of course I still want to do that in a few years) other than physically get in shape? Classes, activities, jobs, etc that you would recommend?
I realize I'm not 401, but i would strongly recommend joining your local PDs explorer post. They are great for finding out what it's really like to be a cop, and most posts even go to a full on academy. Good luck!
Friendly Raider he's saying they should do a dual vlog because miami police has a channel and do patrol vlogs if you didn't know that but you should check them out if you didn't about them
On the United thing: I put this in Mike's video, but I'll put it here to, because I can: If you have a conflict with the police, you have only one legal option. To surrender and go quietly. Even if the cops are 100% wrong, they still have the law on their side. If you fight them all you're going to do is add charges like resisting arrest and assault. On top of that, you might be physically injured or maybe even killed. In the end you are still going one of two places. Jail or the morgue. You simply can't fight the police and win. Even if the police are wrong, you will still have the resisting and assault charges to deal with, not to mention recovering from being hurt. If you are killed, well that would just be sad and stupid. If you go quietly and the cops are wrong, eventually you will be let go, apologized to and perhaps financially compensated. A while back, I was in my 20's and driving to see my sister in Las Vegas. I was stopped, the cops pulled guns on me and told me to "step out of the car". I did everything they said. I was hand cuffed and put into the back of a car, scared out of my mind. Once everything was calmed down and they were sure I wasn't going anywhere I was told that my car matched the description (white light pick-up with California plates) of a car involved in a pedestrian hit-and-run. A witness to the accident came by and said I was not the driver they were looking for and the cops let me go AND apologized. The police were "nice" the entire time. They were respectful the entire time and were not rough in any way. Of course I never offered any resistance (even though I really wanted to) and I never yelled or cried or said anything much. I was scared out of my mind, but I knew I'd be told what was going on sooner or later, AND I knew I hadn't done anything wrong. I just can't imagine the police getting rough unless you offer them a reason to get rough. If you just relax and cooperate, you'll be fine.
Go back and reread my comment carefully. Look at the line "If you fight them all you're going to do is add charges like resisting arrest and assault." did you see there how I used the plural form that the word "charge" and "like". These two things imply that "resisting arrest" or "assault" will not be the only things you are charged with. Refusing to comply with police orders is called "obstructing" which basically means you are trying to prevent the police doing there job. An offense you can be arrested for. I made the assumption (as I see now was foolish) that everyone reading this would know that. I apologizes for my mistake.
I drive 4-5hrs daily for my work. I ditched my radio and now listen to your amazing videos. yesterday I received notification from T-Mobile saying that I have used up 30gb of data. 😂 thank God for unlimited internet.
Pixel Yahh he should keep his identity secret on a large public site or app whatever because any one can find it and I mean everyone anyone can find just about everything on the internet.

Fuck UA-cam, where are my notifications at???☹️
This bring back memories ...Police academy .... It was the roughest 6 months of my life...I rememeber we had to jog everywhere we were going.
Part 2 please! Q&A: What branches of the military were you two in? I, myself, am a veteran of the Navy.
Awesome video as always my man! I put my application in for the police academy last week. Pretty psyched to hear back and hopefully join the force soon! Have been binge watching your channel for days now in preparation
12:34 "This guy was what all of 4 foot 12" so 5 feet 😂😂😂
It was a joke. Chill.
Part two would be great! Talk about hardest parts of the Academy step by step, besides being in shape?
How much influence does Military experience have on getting hired as a cop? Maybe talk about Veteran Preference Points? Thank you!
Yes, Part 2 would be cool. Talk about the Funniest or Saddest calls y'all have ever been on.
Can you make a video about pre- police students and tips on how to succeed at Police Academy? I know you have a video about the academy but you mainly talk about what not to do. I also have ADHD so I can't not join the military because I take medicine, does the police academy have any rules about this? Thanks for being such an awesome officer!
Jordon E I also have ADHD since I was a child, and joined the USAF with no issues.
Sometimes ADHD make the best "warriors" for their focus on detail and adherence to rules and regs.
If you get off the meds you can enlist if you want. And as far as being a cop with ADHD, it’s usually agency discretion.
Trust me you can easily get a waiver for anything so if you tried hard enough you could definitely land into a branch like the Army.
Was military boot camp or police academy harder?

Military is always harder than any police academy.

his lawyer stated that they can't forcefully remove anyone, at least not physically. he will win the lawsuit

Why do you not chose to say in the military why would you rather be a cop than be in the military
Mike Fast police is more helping people than military is protecting people from stuff
Please make a vid on the difference between military boot camp and the police academy and please add in a few stories about each
On the United thing: I put this in Mike's video, but I'll put it here to, because I can: If you have a conflict with the police, you have only one legal option. To surrender and go quietly.

If you go quietly and the cops are wrong, eventually you will be let go, apologized to and perhaps financially compensated.
A while back, I was in my 20's and driving to see my sister in Las Vegas. I was stopped, the cops pulled guns on me and told me to "step out of the car".

I just can't imagine the police getting rough unless you offer them a reason to get rough. If you just relax and cooperate, you'll be fine.
Eric Taylor you cant be charged for resisting arrest if you aren't being arrested idiot
Eric Taylor "they were genital and respectful" 😂😂

I made the assumption (as I see now was foolish) that everyone reading this would know that. I apologizes for my mistake.
