I don't care about a face reveal but I think it's pretty dumb that he's willing to show the faces of small children and family members but not his own.
Belial61 Yeah I hear you. I think all cops are like that and I don't know why. I'm from Utah and the cops here wig out if someone gets their phone number. You should ask Officer 401 why cops are like that.
Lmao my FTO did that same what street are we on cause we're getting shot at. I didn't know what street I was on I was deep in a neighborhood. He made me throw the car in park and run to the nearest street sign
You're such an awesome dude -- a man who has earned the genuine respect of thousands of people, and an inspiration to other Officers. Your consistent high ratio of likes to dislikes speaks volumes. Thank you for your service, I wish you the best on UA-cam, but more importantly in life in general -- wheather your channel one day gets huge or not. For the record, I think it will!

You are spot on with the training. I was army, we trained alot. Some would complain about it. However, when we got deployed, everyone was thankful for that training.
This is cool that you let people into your life man. You're doing a good thing. Opening people's minds about cops. Not all cops are bad. Not all ____ are bad.
Embarrassing story as a new nurse several years ago, when I was in my early 30s. I was taking care of an elderly gentleman, probably about 67 years old or so, who'd recently had hip replacement surgery. He'd gotten up and walked, and was recovering well. I was in his room when a girl who I'd gone to high school with came in and I said "oh hi, your dad is doing really good!" She looked at him then me and said, "That's not my dad, it's my husband". I had to find an excuse to leave the room because I was a mixture of totally embarrassed, horrified, and trying to to burst into laughing. Yeah, it was a little bit awkard for the rest of the shift. Now I just ask all visitors of they're family or friends.
My dad was a police officer in the 70s and 80s and he saw black men with 2 white vans throwing bags of something from one van to another at night. He called for backup and they thought they got the biggest drug bust of the year. Turns it the bags were filled with popcorn. Next morning it was front page on the newspaper.
You're so cool when I grow up I want to be a Police Officer and graduate from POST and get a POST Certificate (Peace Officer). I look up to you and you inspire me to grow up and become a Police Officer for South Carolina :) Thank you for making videos showing us what you do!

I just found your videos and I'm really enjoying them! I just got back from my military police training a few months ago with the army reserves and I'm just waiting to turn 21 so I can apply for civilian police. You & I both. Love your name and profile pic btw!

Vilate Nielsen 😁 I'm not a trooper, but those guys have my respect - I'd be too paranoid about getting plowed by one of Utahs famous good drivers.
Then what police department do you work for? You are a cop aren't you?
The one time I was asked "what time you got" I was robbed at gun point. That phrase has like a triple meaning to it i guess lol.

Random question.... What's the difference between a Deputy and Officer? Are there roles different?
Paxton Cagle good question. Deputies work for the Sheriff's Office. Officers work for a police department.
officer401 lol I know that hahah I meant the roles... like in my town the sheriff's office does patrol but so does my police department. also I know my police department is paired with the ATF and my sheriff is paired with the U.S. Marshals... what does that mean?
Mainly it's a jurisdiction difference. A Sheriffs Deputy is responsible for a county. Local PD would be responsible for a city or town, however the Sheriffs Office could still assist the local PD if it was needed. I don't know what you said about being paired, I am sure it depends on the agency. I do know that local PD could be involved with a federal agency like the ATF or FBI during investigations of certain crimes that may have been committed inside of that specific jurisdiction so they could collaborate on information and share it. Basically in a nut shell, law enforcement is overall the same role but with different responsibilities. If that helped any.
@@MrMb91 Police or "polis" where we get "Metropolis" literally means "city." So a policeman is literally "man of the city". That helps me remember.
