    DIY Homestead Projects.. I have this machine and I have to say I love it so far. It has a 60% duty cycle which means for every 6 minutes of welding it needs to cool down for 4 minutes, 60% of ten minutes is 6 minutes of weld time and 4 minutes of cool down time. I also have their TIG200 and it is an awesome machine as well. I want to get their CUT50 plasma cutter as soon as funds allow it.

      Do you think the Arccaptain mig200 will have good penetration for installing a notch on a truck frame & a 4link ?

    Nice machine Bruce. I think I heard somewhere that it’s made by Esab? Thought it would be more expensive?
    Keep on keeping on my brother!

      That's interesting information I haven't heard. My thoughts were they are made in China but I really don't know for sure. Either way I find it interesting. :) Thanks for your input and endless support!

    Does it come from the factory with the lead wires correct? I’ve seen where the leads need to be swapped, but can’t determine that as the wires are hard to see & get to.

      I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to. Depending on the process you are using you can easily change the leads from DCEN to DCEP on the front of the machine. I didn't have to change any other wiring on mine from the factory to use it.

      @@DIYHomesteadProjectsDIYHP10 Several videos refer to changing the polarity. Thanks for the response.

    what size breaker is the machine rated for at 220v? the one i have to run it at is 50a

    • @DIYHomesteadProjectsDIYHP10
      @DIYHomesteadProjectsDIYHP10  8 місяців тому

      Not sure but 50a should be more than sufficient for this machine.

      @@DIYHomesteadProjectsDIYHP10 im just unsure that i wont burn the machine up running to much power through it

      @@aidanprocopio66 how would that happen? The size of the breaker doesnt matter, unless its too small. using a 50, 70, or 100 amp breaker cant harm anything. it calls for 50 amps anyway.
