    In this video I will elaborate on the procedures of measuring, layout and Bending of a Corner Offset. I try to be as detailed as possible so the video might be a little long to some people. I posting video's on all the tips and tricks i've learned through out my career as an electrician. I've work for over 20 years in Florida and NYC. I've work in the new construction of Hospitals, Hotels, & Residential buildings. Also not to mention I've worked in the water treatment facility for over 4 years in those 4 years I've worked with very good skilled electricians for showed me the tricks of the trade in that short amount of time working with stainless steel, and pvc galvanized rigid conduit which. I've taken those skills and used them throughout Florida and NYC in all types of facilities and just made my skills that much better. I've read so many books on the electrical trade. One thing we do not have enough of is literature on conduit bending. I do have one book that I highly recommend and that is Coffman's Method. Look it up. It will be the best tool you ever bought.
    I'm posting video's on Advanced Conduit Bending. Check it out, the video's have there own playlist. I warn you the video's are not short and to the point. I have to be very detailed. If you are passionate about the Art of Conduit Bending then those are the video's for you. Please comment if there is anything I can help you with.

      Thank you so very much for the feedback. It takes a minute to put these video's together and all i ask is to please give me a simple 👍 or 👎 so i know if im wasting my time. Electrical is my passion, but conduit Bending is my passion within my passion so there's nothing i love more than to pass this knowledge on.
      Check out the 3 point saddle push-thru method unless you already know it. Pretty cool.

      Conduit is my favorite also. I think we learned from the same teacher because its dead on with what i was taught and studied. Thumbs up for sure. Yes seen the pass thru best thier is especially if you have your bender charted. Keep up the good work. Its awesome you share it. I try to show others but they dont care about the math. I dont blame them, 30's using multiplier of 2 is all they want. I like to know i can use any angle find the multiplier the gain , cut , thread, and it fits.

    Very informative! I'm reviewing for a conduit bending final and these are helpful. However, can these be bent with the center of bend method as well?

      sorry I missed this comment. hope you did well. center of bend can be used for any bend.

    Quick question, what about the shrinkage???

    • @TheArtOfConduitBending
      @TheArtOfConduitBending  4 роки тому +1

      Shrink is the same as any other offset only now you have 2 offsets together. So whatever bends you use just find the shrink for it and you would use that shrink times the total rise of both offsets. Ill probably have to do a short video on it.

      @Eric Diaz Plane has no impact. it's just 2 offsets you calculate it like any other pair of offsets.
      So just measure the distance from A to B then add the shrink for the 2 offsets depending on the rise of each offset. Hope this helps. please tell me if you understand. If not ill give you an example.

      @Eric Diaz ok so stop worrying about the different planes. just worry about height from box A to B (72"). then calculate the shrink separately for the 2 offsets like you have a 30 degree offset of 2 inches so shrink is 1/2" for offset #1 , offset number 2 has a 30 degree offset of 4 inches so shrink is 1 inch. Total shrink is 1.5 inches. So
      72 + 1.5 = 73.5 inches need to complete the run from box A to B. Hope this helps. Also find the face book group The art of conduit bending and join.

    what I am confused about was in the second offset you marked it at 8 inch instead of the 16 inch multiplier

    • @TheArtOfConduitBending
      @TheArtOfConduitBending  3 роки тому +1

      Don't let it confuse you it's just 2 offsets with a spacing in between of however much you want. I just mention to try not to make your to offsets to close together a good number would be 6 inches.

      Wow thanks. I really appreciate it although I think a lot of people to disagree with you as far as getting to the point on a lot of my other videos they're pretty long this is probably one of the few that I get to the point. I mean I don't BS in my videos but they are pretty long being that I'm trying to explain it as if the person that viewing it is very new to the trade
