Loved it! :D
You should do a reaction to warrior on hbo
Loved it!!..Wondering if you have checked out Daisy Jones and the Six? 2nd best show streaming right now. Sooo good.
Enjoyed the movie, but Omnimedia?!? Guy is a total tool.. hope this doesn’t become habit. I unsubscribed from the guy for a reason. Hate that he’s chasing me here…
Great point about M Nights name being attached making people judge more
Bautista is perfect casting because you need someone who is intimidating physically but when they begin to speak, they calm you down. Because Bautista truly is in real life a gentle giant (same with Momoa)
Seriously dave Batista is the best wrestler turned actor. He is simply phenomenal in every role he plays.
Cena was great in the Peacemaker, The Rock doesn't even try to act these days he just plays himself. When he used to try he was quite good too ( pain and gain, gridiron gang, Snitch etc)
FACTS!!!!
Clearly you've never seen Mr Nanny.
I’m the hardest working mexican
, i love to do food videos while smoking weed on my UA-cam channel.
Pacemaker might argue this lol😂
Spoilers for the book if anyone plans on reading it.
So for the most part it’s fairly similar to the movie but a few key things were changed. One of the biggest changes (and I think for the better / less depressing) is that when Andrew and Leonard are on the ground struggling with the gun it accidentally goes off and shoots Wen dead. Not even kidding it’s incredibly depressing. However it doesn’t count as the sacrifice because they didn’t willingly choose to kill her. Wen died for nothing in the book and I’m not a fan of that tbh. Another change is that Leonard wasn’t the last one alive out of the 4 invaders, Sabrina kills him as the second last sacrifice. So Sabrina is the last alive and helps the two men find the truck they left. The last big difference is that Eric wants Andrew to kill him at the end but he refuses. The book ends with the two men waiting for whatever may come, whether it’s the actual apocalypse or not. I honestly preferred the movie ending but I hope this helps 👍
Yeah I noticed that in Paul Trembley’s books. He makes you wonder if what happened was real or if there was a logical explanation.
So I guess the book focused more on the home invasion aspect, and the movie on the religious/ supernatural theme.
@@jeremynelson7920 you literally had to push a button to read all of this comment.
@@jeremynelson7920 So you read "spoiler for the book" Then read past "it's fairly similair to the movie" and kept reading only to be confused on why you were spoiled? Yeah that's a common sense issue my guy sorry to say.
@@Bluejay-jg6hz 🙂
I honestly didnt expect to tear up watching this movie, the ending hit me especially hard. Along with the 4 horsemen thing i also kinda got a savior/messiah image from Eric and a "punisher" image from Andrew. Also Bautista's acting was really great too, he really sold the gentle giant character who has to do something that he really doesnt want to.
This was a very good M. Night movie
What part was sad
@@DR.DisInfect A lot of the final act really. But to me the parts that hit the hardest are when Andrew went to get Wen and she asked "did daddy eric save everyone".
And Eric and Andrew's discussion about what to do after all of the horsemen died. Eric's peace of mind, understanding, and willingness to sacrifice in order to save others. Being clashed with Andrew's pure love for his family and anger at humanity. Top this with the scene where andrew and wen are older and enjoying life, giving andrew the resolve to do it, made my tears swell a bit.
The tone of Bautista’s voice is PERFECT for this role. Just clam enough to be creep yet genuine.
So many bots slmping for Dave it's weird AFFFF
I may not enjoy every Shyamalan movie but the camera work in this movie was insane!!!
I love how the couple represented both hope and fear. Opposite concepts that go hand in hand.
Rupert Grint is amazing in Servant which was also created by Night. I highly Suggest it to anyone who enjoyed his performance in this movie.
SO good and creepy
I think the song playing in the end was Eric reaching out and letting them know he was alright. Or it could have been one heck of a coincidence lol
Thing i didn't expect about this movie was that the four are the Four Horsemen of Apocalypse incarnate.
As a Bostonian, I have to say... my boyfriend and I agreed, Rupert Grint KILLED IT with the Boston accent. PERFECT! Now mind you, he's... not a good character... but he was easily our favorite. He really transformed into such a villain & how scared he was too ... wow. We think he's not getting enough credit for his performance. It takes a lot to embody such a complete asshole like that. And also, yeah - I've seen examples of that guy in Southie. For SURE
I have started to find some more people giving Rupert his flowers over this role. Which he rightfully deserves tbh
So excited you invited Omni on your channel!!!! He deserves more love!
Bautista is so genuine. It comes through. He deserves all the accolades he has.
Just got done watching this. Really good. All of the performances are great, but Dave Bautista is extremely talented and carries the movie
The twist on this movie is crazy! You find out that Dave Batista is the best wrestler turned actor😮😂
I really enjoyed this movie and Dave Batista continues to shine and never disappoints.
Yay reel rejects & omn1media back together again this was great more reactions together please love you guys x
Such a range Dave Batista has to his comedy, drama and seriousness.
This movie reaffirms the notion that Dave Baitista is the best actor to come out of WWE.
And Ben Aldridge is so great
yes totally!
The writing and acting in this made this movie for me. I was on the fence about it cause I fully believed the apocalypse was ahppening because early on I was like "Oh! They're the Horsemen!" but I was going back and forth on was it a setup and they're just suicidal? But how the Horsemen's story, and the couple's acting were just SO good.
In a way it’s the concept of 10 Cloverfield Lane
Sorry if I just spoiled that movie now 😬
@@packedentertainment2866 Nope I've seen it, but yeah it's a similar vibe of is it real or not?
@@Grimbear13 & the apocalypse aspect
I think they initially came to talk about their car's extended warranty but when they realised they overdid it this time they just went with it
It's funny that Greg mentions MINDHUNTER and Johnathan Groff was a part of that lol
Yo!! How is Dave Bautista giving master classes in Acting in his roles lately. I loved, and hear me out. The TWIST in this movie is that the stuff they said were going to happen were actually happening..
This was a pretty nifty thriller. Had plenty of Shyamalan's expected odd dialogue/performances here and there, but this was a very solid intriguing film.
Bautista being death and wielding his weapon in a way Death wields a Scythe in classic depictions of a Grim Reaper, love the little details
Dave Bautista did a perfect performance in this movie 💯 he deserves a Oscar Worthy Performance 🏆
I really enjoyed this movie! But I wonder how the movie had been received if it went with the book ending.
I agree though that there could have been a tiny bit more clouding around if the apocalypse was/wasn’t happening. I also agree that I think there may have been more reception to it if M Night’s name wasn’t attached for the reasons mentioned. I definitely think this is one of his better movies!
I am interested to see how it would it been if it did go with the book ending.
Honestly a well acted, pretty thrilling/suspenseful movie. Love the mental "Is it real or not?" game is plays with you
JUST wish they showed the 4 strangers being connected in a flashback some point or had met the couple prior for it to feel a little more connected
Yeah I agree, though they did do that with Redman, which doubled as giving a connection and also fueling the doubt of whether this is real or not. I like to think they all were connected to the couple, they just don't remember the other three.
I've only seen Ben Aldridge in Fleabag and he plays a much different character. I think Greg reacting to Fleabag would be amazing!
He’s Thomas Wayne in pennyworth and did pretty good
Omn1media and reel rejects again wooooo
Omnirejects?
I feel like Eric lied to Andrew because he was seeing all of these things, seeing the plague, the planes, the storm and he knew that if anyone was strong enough to continue moving forward, it was Andrew. I don't think he actually saw anything in the light, I think he just wanted to protect his family, save his family, and his sacrifice was one of both selfishness and selflessness. Selfish because it was about saving his husband and daughter, not about the world, and selfless because he's the kind of person who would do anything for his family, give anything. Eric and Andrew were the perfect mix of strength and hope, of fear and worry when it comes to the unknown and I loved that. They created a beautiful, empathetic, loving daughter who Eric knew would grow to be something amazing, especially because Andrew would be there to be her strength. Bautista did a phenomenal job in his portrayal of Leonard. A gentle, soft spoken giant who truly believed with everything he was that he was doing the right thing.
It was confirmed that Eric did indeed see a figure, and the figure was god or some sorta deity. The deity was showing Eric what Andrew and Wen would grow up to be to comfort him.
Another weirdo far too obsessed with the gay aspect...🫤🤦🏼♂️
I cried genuine tears hearing Dave Bautista about how much he cares about his children. Seeing the framed picture he had of his class in the car with their little notes for him got me the most. He just wanted to protect his kids. Phenomenal acting from him.
Thanks M.Night for bringing "Boogie Shoes" back into 2023.
This is honestly one of M. Night's best films, and one of my favorites this year so far!
This film was absolutely amazing I was a bit worried as a huge fan of Paul Tremblay the author of this book and a head full of ghosts which is also being made into a film. Really looking forward to that movie next after how well this turned out
Great Reaction, Dave Bautista was so great in this movie
This movie and "The Happening" is my favourite M. Night films. I know "The Happening" isn't everyone's cup of tea but I really like the concept.
That is what I thought. When I watched this movie it kind of reminded me of the happening. Both films are kind of on par when it comes to power of story telling. Yes I do agree that the happening isn't great but it has it's moments and so does this movie. I also waited for some kind of twist at the end and was slightly dissapointed there was none. Dave Bautista was brilliant in it.
I mean, the movie goes hard. you can question some of the acting choices, but the premise and how some of the scenes are executed (no pun intended) are actually really good.
The great actor is the bad guy in frozen and the bad guy in Hamilton. (George III) Jonathan Groff. He is good ar everything
The book is quite ambiguous and sadder. I am okay with both versions
Nah he was the good guy in Frozen (Kristoff)
this movie was one of Night's best
Oh sweet! Reel Rejects and Omni collab!
Wow, I've been fans of both of you guys for a while and never knew you two were friends. Great to see two amazing reactors together.
I am here for this collab, I watch both your channels. Great movie review!
M. Night has always used distant or background shots for murder. You see it but it either fades out or in the background. He did the same thing with The Happening. If you go back and watch that the suicides for the most part were background or distant mainly. Idk. I loved this movie.
Hell yea the collab I needed !
I'll be honest. One of the only things this movie was missing
was a scene where, after everyone breaks in, and ties everyone up, and it gets all criminal-y... one of the perps gets into an argument with their captives, and they're like "Do I really look like the kind of person who'd DO something like this?!", and one of the parents is like, "YES!!"
...and they just look down at the floor, all like, genuinely hurt.
You both haven't seen Fleabag? Would love a reaction
I definitely recommend watching Old. In my opinion, it's one of M Night's best.
Whoa, two of my favourite reactors colliding!!! I think I'm more excited about that than the reaction itself! lol 🥺
I never noticed the opening credits but it makes sense after seeing the movie that they were drawings of the peoples visions
Ben Aldridge is the Areshole Guy in Fleabag and he is hilarious
Now i wanna see the entire reel rejects crew in a film like this. 😂😂😂
I loved this movie and this book. I think everyone did a great job acting. I though the little actress playing Wen did great. The family unit had amazing chemistry and it made you believe the movie more.
Reel rejects and Omni! I just fainted and went to heaven 🤣 this is awesome
Heeeeey, my two favorite channels combined! Please more of this!
One of my fav movies from this year so far!! Dave Bautista is having a year!🔥
Yay! Omni! Love this collab
Holy shit!! My two favorite UA-camrs!
Havent seen this, always thought Dave was a better athlete actor than the rest so im eager to watch with yall. Shyamalamadingdong is one of my favorite directors
Bautista and the others are the four horsemen of the apocalypse; Death, Famine, War, and Conquest
Yes. They were even wearing the correct colors. And also the 7 knocks on the door representing the seven seals of the Book of Revelations.
Love you 2 guys together. Can't wait to see what you think. M. Night will always have a twist. You killed me at "over population " 🤣😁👏😎
The actor that plays Daddy Andrew is Ben Aldridge. He plays Thomas Wayne in HBOMAX’s Pennyworth: The backstory of Batman’s Butler. He’s awesome!
What a nice surprise seeing you both do a reaction, I subscribe to both of you, great reaction 👍
Ben Aldridge is AMAZING. He's hilarious in Fleabag and really great in Spoiler Alert. He's going to be BIG one day
The collab I didn’t know I needed!!!
Holy shit the collaboration I never knew I needed!!!!
Man, before I clicked the play button for this video, I was SURE you were doing a reaction video with freakin' Riddler, from The Batman! 😂
The 4 horseman of the apocalypse are immortal.
Yo! Crossover with Omn1Media! Let’s go, Reel Reject!❤️
Damn I’m kinda mad y’all cut out the gas station part 😩
“I’ll do you one better. Wen is Gamora?”
It reminded me a lot of Cabin in the Woods. Not in tone or anything but they had similar beats to them.
I love nothing more then watching movies with other people to see their reaction. This is essentially the same…. Great commentary guys!
More of this collab please 🙏🎉🎉🎉🧡🧡🧡
I love the collabs with other dope creators!
Definitely a better ending than the book, that's for sure.
Facts that ending was some dark sh*t, this was more bittersweet.
I also wasn’t so sure if it was real or not throughout a lot of the movie, especially when the virus part said “pre recorded program” on the TV. It definitely had me back and forth until towards the end. Overall I love the movie!
They are never getting their Air B&B deposit back.
I loved it...great reaction guys
woahhhh love this collab
I still wanna watch this movie. Big Shyamalan fan here, only ones I haven't seen yet are this one, The Happening, The Last Airbender (although I ALSO have seen enough OF those two, I think) and Old ....
omg you gotta watch the happening and old, of course most ppl don’t like the films but old is absolutely hilarious and Sabrina character is in it, and The Happening cause me to have a childhood fear of plants for a while lol
love the Shigaraki shirt, Greg!
As someone who is a Christian I felt I should have read Revelation before seeing it 😂 but I loved it
Dave Bautista is Freaking Awesome
I havent seen the movie yet so i cant watch this reaction but I'm just happy to see this reel rejects/omni media crossover cause I love both your guys reactions so much.
Robert Grint has a great American accent
eyyy omn1media! great collab 👌
7:02Of only they had the new iPhones, they have the capability to directly connect to satellites to make short emergency texts and calls. But it's a horror movie so I guess they cant do that or it'll be too easy.
Yo Greg i just saw u on a early episode of it's always sunny in Philadelphia that's nuts man first I seen u on the movie theaters for spiderman NWH and now this thts awesome man😁👍🏻👍🏻
This was based on a novel knock at the cabin in the woods. Wen had never acted before.
There were far too many people who misinterpreted this movie and claimed it was homophobic which resulted in quite a few negative reviews. It was very dishonest.
He looks like Pedro pascal's brother 😂
Couldn’t care less about the movie if it’s good or bad just solely here for Greg and Omn1 both great in their own right and phenomenal as a pair
About half way through the movie I’m thinking they’re not getting their security deposit back.
This is an awesome surprise!👏👏👏
What does the little girl in the treehouse say around 34:49 Tyty
This movie is based off the book The Cabin At The End Of The World by Paul Tremblay. You should check out the book it is a little different than the movie.
Dude you got together with Paul Dano bad ass 🤘
Ron Weasley got the shittiest stick. He had to die regardless because whether they believed it or not, he had to be the one to get the ball rolling.
This is out earlier than I thought
