Trident rock hard. Junna was a beast. Perfect power pop with huge chorus. I think they are getting better and better. Nagisa is the perfect drummer for them now. She had big shoes to fill. And man does she hit hard!!
I really feel that Serena needs to be in the conversation about incredible young bass players in Japan. I love her style and what she does to be effective in a trio.
I'm glad you mentioned Asaka's vocals. Nobody ever seems to notice what a Great vocalist she is. She occasionally slips in some pretty good lead guitar work too. I LOVE these young women. And I'm with Allan - IMHO Trident has a better sound with Narisa than they did with Junna. Junna is Great, but she's often too 'flashy' for the song and their total 'sound' suffers for it. Trident: *_Asaka_* (vocals), *_Serena_* (bass), *_Narisa_* (drums). Cry Out is really good: ua-cam.com/video/OCgr08Q7A6c/v-deo.html . . and Distination (Destination?) is just Fun: ua-cam.com/video/We__CnrYa9U/v-deo.html Both are with the New lineup.
Yet another J-metal band to blow your mind! Congratulations on 100 videos my friend, you really need to check out the two bands that started the whole J-metal scene X- Japan and show ya

So good. Junna is playing kick triplets the whole song through
Trident were founded in 2016, as ガールズロックバンド革命 (Girls Rock Band Kakumei, or “Girls Rock Band Revolution”). Their lineup under the original name consisted of: Asaka - Vocals & Guitar Serina- Bass & Chorus Junna- Drums (Original Member, left in 2020) After Junna left, Nagisa replaced her at drums, and they changed their name to Trident. They have collectively released two albums, two mini albums and several singles. Their style is fast, hard and heavy but melodic, with a dense sound for a three-piece band. As Kakumei: “No Regret” ua-cam.com/video/ptmNCyIOjXU/v-deo.html “Voltage” ua-cam.com/video/9k9txMouU34/v-deo.html As Trident: “Ambivalent” ua-cam.com/video/yGwWnOSvh5A/v-deo.html “Spoopy” ua-cam.com/video/16APM8itvv0/v-deo.html Junna has continued to make a name for herself through crazy drum covers posted on youtube, and session work with other groups. Here is her best-known cover, of “Through the Fire and Flames” by Dragonforce: ua-cam.com/video/UKr1H4Jv6is/v-deo.html
Junna がドラマーだった この頃のバンド名は ガールズロックバンド革命で、ドラマーが Nagisaに代わって TRiDENTになりました。 Junna was the drummer The band name around this time was Girls Rock Band Kakumei, and the drummer replaced Nagisa with TRiDENT.
Their name was never Trident when Junna was in the band. It was Girls Rock Band Kakumei. Kakumei is "revolution" in English. They were also known as GRBK and my 2nd favorite group behind Band=maid. Now...I have to say Trident is my "new" 2nd favorite band. They changed their name to Trident when Junna left. Although I Junna is one of the best drummers around, I think Nagisa fits the band a little better. She's a great drummer and in a good way for the band, isn't as over powering compared to the others. Since they became Trident Asuka has really improved her vocals and expanded her guitar skills from just playing as a rhythm guitarist to also playing as a lead adding more solo bits, too.
Gotta love Trident, they really need more exposure like Lonesome Blue and Hanabie. Here’s something to consider: Kosame-Cord, you may have to hunt for the video but it’s worth it. it’s definitely different especially if you look up the backstory on it, you might feel traumatized afterwards but you’ll want to see it again.
With that EP they went out and got assistance with some of the best in the business at each respective song. Signal wouldn't be so amazing without the help of Koji Hirachi since they have minimal experience with synth and that is what Koji deals with all the time. I hope they learned a lot and can carry that into the future.
I like Narisa a lot better myself for Trident. Junna is Great! - but - she plays too much and is too loud in the mix and muddles the melody and guitar parts. Also, Narisa's kit says Trident on it . . . instead of NARISA. And it shows in her drumming - she is a 'team' player.
Awesome pause!! I feel she's not in the group anymore because she was the center of attention. not on purpose but she just over powers them. Becaus e shes a F_ _ Cking BEAST!!!!!!!!
Junna was way above their level. They needed someone who was a better match for their skills. I wish them well, but personally don’t care for the musical direction they’ve taken since Nagisa joined. But it’s all opinion, obviously a lot of people prefer what they’re doing nowadays.

Just wow! This band is fire!! Keep it coming. Luving the reacts!
Love this band, in my top 5 favorites.
JUNNA...... the love child of AKANE and HARUNA 🤣🤣 I suggest checking their MV. AMBIVALENT 🤟🔥🤟🔥🐺🦧🍌🙏
Heck yeah, more Trident! 👍 Great reaction as always! 🤘🙂🤘
There are two amazing my most favorite drummers, Junna and the most magnificent Haruna.
Half a second in without looking you know it's junna.
Perfectly succinct during your first pause- "Junna. Oh yeah" - back to the song.

Both of these songs are technically 'Girls Rock Band Kakumei', before Junna left and they changed their name to TRiDENT.

Trident is so underrated and so good!
Wow , that was cool. I dont know anything about this band....so I guess it's time to learn :)
I just love the crap out of that pause!
I started a list for Trident a couple of months ago. Keepin' my eye on them. Why do I think I'm hearing early Rush in there somewhere.......?

GRBK had a lead guitarist in the beginning
@@madmikefoetwenny55 do you know her name and dates she was in the band? thanks,
@@hiawatha.g Rolla was with the band from 2013 until 2016

JUNNA is thrilling, but she’s just overwhelming in this lineup. NAGISA has a similar style, but plays to serve the song.
Serving the song is how it should be 100%
🤘🧀🤘

Their last EP “D-X” is possibly the best thing they’ve done. I think they are better since Junna left somehow.

Junna is a medical doctor, that's why she never stayed in one band, only freelance drummer
Imagine Junna with a reflex hammer
@@steveratcliffe2181 LOL
Wonder why she is playing Ludwig kit when she is Pearl sponsored? Are we sure its Junna never get a clear look at her?
It was filmed just before Junna got the endorsement
When you have a metal drummer in a pop rock band 🤣
I’m kinda glad Junna was replaced by Nagisa. Her flamboyant style almost took away from the band’s overall talent. Nagisa is a much better fit imho.
