@@thatoneguy779 some people know in their heart that it’s probably wrong but they just don’t give a shit, and make excuses because their entertainment is more important
Saying they'll survive is hardly a valid argument against this being abuse, that's why people who get abused and live to tell about it are called survivors!
If you want definitive proof that they are NOT moving the padding underneath the hamsters as go along the platform, and they are just falling directly onto the ground visible on the sidelines: The timestamp of this video should be at 9:09, and the timestamp of the video he's watching should be at 10:59. The hamster is directly on top of the pillars that support the walkway. In the exact same still frame, you can see the bottom of the pillars, meaning we can see the ground DIRECTLY under the hamster. What do you not see? The box of cotton fluff that people are arguing is kept underneath the hamsters for when they fall. There is no padding. If the fact that they had magical color changing hamsters in the behind the scenes wasn't enough proof, then literal video proof of there not being a box of padding should do it.
exactly! even if they survived they’d likely have physical injuries and definitely emotional trauma. some people just dont see animals at any kind of worth and it’s genuinely worrying
I don't agree with this. How else will they learn? Also if idiots are allowed to spread their opinions unchallenged, other more naive people will assume it's the truth and emulate it.
i had several and one of them (my second one) was a fucking giga chad. He looked our dog into the eyes damn straight who barked at him and then went on with his house designing.
I'm not trying to defend anybody... but it's a box full of cotton... You can easily hold it out of the shot and then just move it under the hamster. It clearly doesn't fall right away you still have some time to move it
People need to do a better job reporting garbage. Not even just animal cruelty, just any weird child oriented dual-marketing propaganda like this in general.
UA-cam should really have a policy against animal channels, at least some strict guidelines, like the UA-cam guidelines for swearing is literally stricter than the guidelines for animal abuse on UA-cam.
I was about to write the same exact thing, one main reason why UA-cam removed dislike button, because they are all just bunch of hypocritical greedy pieces of degeneracity, scared of truth and scared of admitting they support, pedos, animal cruelty, gore and shit ton of anything worst humanity can lead to, im just tired of seeing what people run our planet ....
I'm really believing that the majority of Charlie's Twitch chat are edgy kids because I find it hard to believe that a full grown adult is defending and justifying animal abuse without any sort of logic.
I'd like to agree, but being dense is pretty ageless. Besides, who do you think are making these videos in the first place? This is not an edgy kids channel, there are actual adults behind those expensive cameras who are more than fine with exploiting and abusing tiny animals for money. I've witnessed adults brushing off animal injuries as being ''not serious'' a lot in my life too. You can't give too much credit to adults, some of them are just grown up kids that stayed horrible and never matured an ounce in their life.
Watching hamsters hanging on one limb desperately fighting for their lives as funky circus music plays is seriously disturbing and upsetting. Padding or not, how exactly is this entertainment to begin with?

@@quistador7 the box of cotton they showed was below the floor. Not only that but the box of cotton wasn’t even wide enough to cover the full course if it actually was just sitting there not being moved. Actually watch the video

But you're such a fucking Charlie Stan that you just defend his position no matter what. Go touch grass
As a zoologist I can confirm that due to how hamsters are built they can easily break a leg from a fall like that. Unlike rats which actually climb and jump for their lifestyle so are actually robust, hamsters are ground dwelling burrowing animals that aren't evolved for even minor heights. Charlie is 100% right to be concerned for these animals wellbeing.
"bUt ThEy ShOwEd A cLiP oF tHe HaMsTeR fAlLiNg In CoTtOn"- the people with less than 2 functioning braincells who are most likely colorblind too to see that they used a different hamster
I'm a vet. If a hamster breaks its leg there's basically nothing we can do. They're usually euthanised on welfare grounds (because we can't fix it, the only other option is the hamster living in constant pain). I'm 100% with Charlie on this one.
how come a vet couldn't decipher that maybe the first time they shot the video they only recorded with one perspective, and they avoided showing the box w/ foam in those shots. Then after they recorded the original video, they showed us where the hamsters actually fell with a different hamster and a different shot? edit: I take back my comment, sorry about that. It is weird how the foam box is that small and only covers for the hamster exactly where it fell (near the end), when there are holes beforehand that clearly don't have foam underneath. They try to make it seem like a camera trick when in reality its obvious there wasn't any foam there.
@@DanzelGlovington it can be done, but there’s still a pretty big QoL question wrt both mobility and the fact that the animal can experience constant postop pain without it necessarily being obvious. going to surgery with a rodent you also have to consider the fact that rodents have a very high risk of dying under anaesthesia (about 1 in 50 vs. like 1 in 900 with dogs), and realistically owners often aren’t willing to pay for surgery on small furries in the same way that they would a dog or a cat and opt for PTS instead.
Not to mention in the "behind the seans" video, they show hamsters housed together in tiny cages. If you didn't know, hamsters are extremely territorial and will fight to the death with other hamsters (most of the time.) Hamster cages need to be above 460sq inches at the minimum and big wheels with lots of enrichment and sand baths. So even if the hamsters did survive they would still be living a miserable life.
half the people in the chat had hamsters as kids and probably mistreated them and killed them in a variety of strange and horrible ways, but just because their hamsters as kids didn’t die from dropping them on the floor doesn’t mean dropping them on the floor was right. Same thing with this video. Also, that one hamster dangling from the rope would definitely break its foot or back solely from the stress and position of being clamped by its foot. PLUS the fact that hamsters need HUGE enclosures and cannot be housed together, and the chances of this creator giving those huge enclosures to each and every one of their hamsters is so unlikely. I’m sure that they’re often replaced. Thank you Charlie for actually addressing this because so few people do.
@@salimkania I had a hamster accidentally fall 3-4 inches (-ish?) from the ground as well and she broke her leg. People think hamsters are built strong like rats, and they really aren't. Anyone who has owned hamsters know that they're very fragile and clumsy.
This is actually the exact reason rat cages arnt to be used for hamsters, the higher hight of a rat cage could mean that the hamster climbs up, falls down and hurts itself.
The difference between a hamster and a lot of other rodents is that hamsters are terrestrial and burrow-diggers. Squirrels and rats are built to climb and maneuver narrow obstacles.
It’s completely obvious that the hamster in the glass bridge in the “safe fall” is about 15 shades darker orange than the original hamster. Whoever on stream said Charlie is “jumping to conclusions” is a freaking brainlet.
I know as a 100% fact anyone disagreeing with Charlie literally hasn't handled a hamster. They're not rats or mice, they're not built to be falling from any height over a foot at the very most.
Even besides the whole heights thing, why would anyone think any of this be enjoyable for the hamsters? I dunno if hamsters are easily scared like rabbits and guinea pigs are, but I assume so
At 10:08 someone in the chat says "at the end of the day its a hamster a rodent id sit on one right now and not feel bad".. how are people this fucking cruel?
Some people see hamster as chicken, as a Chinese myself I love eating dogs. So if you’re offended by that chat, then you’re racist to different cultures
Yeah, im thinking that too...maybe the hamster are having serious injury and cannot be shown to video (obviously) and they used a new similar looking (which is not lmao) new hamster
I’m hoping that the original video didn’t show the right angles. As well as the other footage that showed padding. So they remade how they did it and just dropped the hamster. Really hope it’s nothing sinister.
Yep and the hamster that was shown falling with its leg was stuck in the original video was replaced with a different one in the "behind the scenes" version so you know for certain it's either dead or injured.
i’ve kept hamsters all my life, but it shouldn’t take someone with my expertise to realize that these little guys are being mistreated. the abuse of small animals is so normalized, especially on social media, and it’s so fucked. thank you for talking about this charlie!

yeah, not surprised tbh. there was this one dude (who i think charlie has spoke about before) who used to abuse his cats and show it on youtube and he wasnt taken down for YEARS. he "inspired" a bunch of other people to abuse animals in a really cult type way. i think hes taken down, but i believe he was called "PelutianEntertainment". he was 15 at the time people used that as an excuse to defend him, but when i was 15, i definetly knew it wasnt okay to torture cats. also, killing animals at an early age is a huge warning sign so i think it should be taken way more seriously.
"It's a hamster, who cares. Don't be a Karen" was definitely the mindset of the people defending the channel. There's really ZERO reason to make the obstacle so high up, unless they wanted the hamsters actually punished for losing
I hate to defend the video but they probably put the padding under when they were about to fall because they would actually get hurt from that distance and someone raised them so what’s the chance they also have no regard for them
Anyone who’s owned a hamster knows how easily injured they can get. You can’t just drop one from 10 feet with no padding, let alone sneeze on them without breaking their backs.
Anybody who has handled an actual hamster should know how brittle and delicate there bones are. A fall from that height, depending on the angle at which they fall, they could sprain or even break a bone, or give them brain damage.
As a hamster owner, I greatly appreciate what you've said. People constantly support or excuse blatant animal abuse videos like hamster squid game with the guise of being "entertainment" or "funny". It doesn't matter the pet: dog, hamster, etc. But small animals receive the most disregard when they are abused. The original hamster squid game was cruel and downright inhumane. Every hamster in the video was visibly panicked and stressed. There was no safety or precaution taken to truly prevent the hamsters from being injured on set. I have no doubt that all of the hamsters in the video were either severely injured, traumatized, or died directly because of the forced filming.
Further clarification: Hamsters can easily die from not only injuries, but also stress. Many hamster illnesses/diseases, like wet tail, are directly caused by stress and can easily lead to death. Being forced through the obstacle course with extremely high heights and no protection is absolutely stressful enough to singlehandedly cause a death.
I used to own a hamster awhile ago and Charlie is completely right. When owning a hamster, you have to be very gentle as they are small creatures. If you were to scare a hamster with a sneeze or a loud noise it could kill it. It's so fucking disappointing to hear people defend what they were doing to those poor hamsters. EDIT: holy shit this blew up. Well, I hope everyone had a great holiday!
*CHARLIE* is my inspiration!! My mom said that if I got 5k Likes on my new song!! She definitely buy me a professional mic!! *Begging you GUYS!!* Please...I LOVE OU! I'M NOT LYING! PLS!.
I own a hamster and I'm scared to even make too much noise when I enter the room as I don't wanna startle it given how stressed out they can get. The thought of dropping them from heights, putting them in confined spaces and making them dizzy seems incredibly cruel. It's not that these videos are made for the sake of abuse, but it is clear the owners don't care about the safety of the animals at all.
To be fair, he seems to misunderstand the physics involved. Hamsters can take falls quite a bit better than humans because of their tiny mass, so saying that it's "pretty high for a little hamster" doesn't really make sense. It's still wrong to do this since it's unnecessary risk of minor damage, but he, and a lot of animal rights vigilantes got the physics of it backwards Edit: guys, i specifically said i think what they did is WRONG. All i'm doing is correcting a misunderstanding that seems to be present
Hamsters shouldn’t be put in these situations for entertainment- it’s upsetting to see people literally abuse animals and get away with it on UA-cam. Just sickening.
as someone who actually has owned a couple of hamsters, they are extremely delicate creatures that are NOT built for surviving even minor heights, unlike squirrels or rats who live their life to climb and jump. it is rare indeed for a hamster to die from a fall, but its likely that they could have broken a leg or two. truly disgusting of them to also fake the “behind the scenes”, i’d be very worried about the hamsters wellbeing as well.
yeah like i seen flying squirrels jump from very high trees to other trees and survive but with the hamster i was extremely worried especially with the spikes i was literally covering my eyes when i see videos like this or anything, it, or what ever kind of species that is that treat animals poorly should have them taken away and into a better home at this point i can see why people like animals more than some humans honestly..
Hamsters are legit one of the most fragile pets you can get. There are SO many stories of people who are like "yeah I took a picture of my hamster with the flash on and it had a seizure and died.
Our hamster used to climb on the celling of its cage. One time it fell literally not more than 20 cm and broke its leg. It died few days after. So even if there was some padding, wich is obviously not the case, those hamsters could get badly injured.
I can’t believe so many people in his chat were defending the abuse, like wtf?!. Hamsters are so fragile and it scares me to know there are so many abusers are arguing with Charlie.
Yeah they are psychos. Kids who abuse or kill little creatures turn into killers. It's either being edgy or actually they are the owner of that channel
@@Cuumerr no I said it starts with it. Meaning you could see what you were doing was bad. I've killed animals sure but never would I take a humans life
"They'll survive the fall, it's fine" Yes, just like how humans can survive falls from multiple times their height. Several bones are broken, but they live. The same goes for hamsters. Sure they may survive the fall, but they'll be broken. And the fact that they used completely different shots of hamsters falling into padding, that's 100% suspicious and questions need to be asked.
Even with no broken bones, ground shock hurts like a bitch! Feels like your feet are actually broken, and haven't everyone experience being "winded" or "knocked the air out if there lungs" you literally feel like you can't breathe and your dying.
I mean they can, it's just difficult to do and requires specific conditions. Also not one soul actually wants to be thrown out of a plane to test if they can achieve it first try.
Another thing I'd like to point out concerning the box of cotton under the bridge - There is only one box, at least in the shots provided. Even if there are more, the gap between them would still be too substantial of a flaw, placing the hamster's health at risk. What I'm getting at is, the length of the box is no where near the length of the bridge. So, even if the shots provided were not spliced (which I doubt) the hamster would still hit the hard floor if it was closer to any edge of the bridge.
It’s so disgusting to see people trying to defend this kind of behaviour, it doesn’t matter if the hamsters weren’t physically hurt they would’ve been scared and stressed the whole time it’s so fucking deplorable
I'm a hamster owner and these videos fucking break my heart. A lot of people unfortunately don't have as much empathy for hamsters because they're not cats or dogs
A venn diagram of the people defending the video/channel and the people who as kids squeezed their hamster or accidentally hurt them some other way is basically a circle if I had to guess :/
No some people just don’t have any empathy at all!!! Not for animals, not for humans, not for anyone and anything. Like I always say: I see so many humans each and every day, but no humanity
I’m not picking sides... but the box had been there for a minute. You can tell because you can see a piece of “glass” off to the left of the box at 9:43 or any shot with the box of fuz. So there’s 2 options. They put it there to make the shot more realistic, or it was just sitting under the bridge of glass when the glass fell
@@mejustme269 they obviously thought about how the glass fell, but you can literally see the hamster falling at a completely different angle in the shot with the padding

He didn't die, but obviously no shit the vet put him down immediately, an injury for hamsters is an immediate death sentence.
The hamster who fell in the first clip didn't have orange stripes and the one who fell in the cotton did have orange stripes. You can see that the hamsters are clearly different.
Veterinary nurse here. Even if they're not physically harmed these situations are still extremely psychologically stressful for the hamsters, which can compromise their immune system, allowing them to contract fatal diseases more easily. Stress can also cause sudden heart attacks and strokes.

Thanks for talking about this Charlie. At the end of the day, animals are not toys. The lack of empathy for living things is concerning to say the least.
As you pointed out the hamster in the padding is different (it has a dark stripe down its back that the "falling hamster" doesn't have) and I can confirm they can die from shock/surprise; I had a hamster that died because a book shelf fell over in the same room as the hamster (not ON the hamster, like the shelf falling was just really loud and the hamster died from a heart attack) so you made a lot of good points here and that's really cool that you point out these kind of things where most people would just shrug it off and say "they're probably fine".
@ARTIST LABEL As much as UA-cam (figuratively) removing dislikes sucks, at least it means you won't get as many views from people who just come to dislike your videos.
How some people treat animals can be very different to how they treat humans. So I disagree with the ''children" part. But the "never get a pet" part can I agree with
Even if the spikes would not impale the hamsters, I still don't think having the point jabbed into your stomach would feel good! That sounds painful af even if it's not actually deadly!
@The TacoCat dont tell that to us you weiner, if you actually recovered them tell charlie, do you know how much money you could lose by saying this shit if you actually have the videos?
i think we can calculate the height here when the hamster was hung straight up vertically his height equaled about 6 of those dots of balls or whatever it is that on the supports , in the other clip we can see that one column is more than 20 of these dots or beads or whatever so 20/6= 3.33 , so it is 3.33 times bigger than this hamster, the average hamster length is (5.5-10) cm and since they look young lets say 7 cm , so 3.33 x 7 = 23.31 which lets say 23 , so the height of the fall is more than 23 cm since we dont know exactly how many of those beads or balls are in each column
The amount of stress and anxiety those hamsters were under as well, they were struggling to hold on and not fall. I don't know much about hamsters but I highly doubt that they understood the wouldn't get hurt if there was padding which Charlie clearly disproved. It's honestly sickening
I gotta agree with Charlie on this one. Even if the hamster is fine afterwards its still abuse. If your dad hits you but you aren't injured after it's still abuse. Doesn't matter if the victim is injured afterward it's still abuse and it makes me sick.
@@johnw594 i think arjun’s issue with the comment is it kind of downplays animal abuse. Like, “this is great your drama only surrounds hamsters getting abused”

“It’s just a hamster” Still, did they have to stoop so low to hurt animals for a video? Just proves how scummy people are, including the ones defending the channel.
Exactly. Like it's not "just a hamster" it's a living breathing creature that feels pain and fear like we do. There's a special place in hell for these kinds of people.
Just having the hamsters cling to the course for their lives is probably super bad by itself, stressing them out which can sometimes outright kill a hamster, or tearing a muscle or breaking a bone trying to pull up their body weight which they CAN'T EVEN DO.
Those hamsters struggling is hard to watch. I had 4 hamsters who died from either old age issues or breeder issues and it’s always sad to see anything similar to a struggle to these babies😔
What’s more common is something like a broken rib. I was a little weirdo who had a hamster as a kid and had to take ole Rocket to the vet after he injured himself on his wheel. Hamsters of course don’t talk but it’s safe to assume they feel chronic pain despite not telling us. I’ve broken ribs and it’s horrendous. But Rocket just wasn’t eating - I only Learned about the rib after he stopped eating and attributed it to his wheel incident. Which horrified me when the vet explained he was in so much pain he couldn’t eat and it’s common this actually kills them despite not showing many other symptoms. So yeah they can look “fine” and present like they aren’t injured given they can hide their compensating actions better being so small (eg slight limp or moving a bit slower) but they are brittle little warriors. Fuck that video, for Rocket.
If possible prey animals especially will hide their injuries so they don't look weak. Weak/sick/injured animals are more likely to be targeted by predators. That's probably another reason it was hard to notice
What a genuinely wholesome channel! Been watching your vids for like 6h straight, and not gonna stop lmao Thank you for doing some good in this world Charlie (hopefully that's your name).
My pet hamster from when I was a kid died from a 2 foot fall when he got out of his cage and did too much exploring when we weren't looking. 8 year old me was devastated. But it's absurd that they know this and just think that they're disposable.
I have to take Charlie's side here... it's actually concerning the amount of people thinking this is okay. Glad you're sticking to your gut here Charlie you are absolutely right
Another reason removing the dislikes was a bad idea, a bad like/dislike ratio would let unaware people on really quick that there's something wrong with said channel.
Exactly, channels like these could continue to thrive without the dislike button bringing them down. I see no reason for it to be removed, because in situations like these, it is crucial to have it.
There is a plugin called "return youtube dislikes", evidently the youtube removal of dislikes was done very sloppy such that the data is still coded in the page just not displayed unless you are the owner of the video, the chrome plug in just edits the pages code to make the counter visible.
There’s no drama here, just straight facts. I’ve had two hamsters before as kid. When I first got them, the pet worker literally explained to me and my mom that they are not supposed to fall from high platforms or things like tables or chairs cause they CAN hurt themselves. My stomach would always drop if I saw my hamsters falling from just a ledge.
You're completely right in this situation. The only "controversy" here is the worrying amount of animal abuse apologists that are lurking in the comments.
I hate to defend the video but they probably put the padding under when they were about to fall because they would actually get hurt from that distance and someone raised them so what’s the chance they also have no regard for them
Another person who has actually studied animal care here - hamsters are designed to run on flat plains for long distances (often miles in one night), and they burrow DOWN. Anything to do with UP (climbing, jumping, falling) is dangerous because it isn’t a natural behaviour, aka their bodies literally aren’t destined for it. The only reason you see hamsters ‘climbing’ is because we keep them in tiny shitty barred cages where they’re bored out of their mind all day.. and yes, they do fall and hurt themselves, often.
I'd bet that no injured hamsters would've been taken to the vet, either - exotic vets are expensive and hamsters are cheap. Who knows how many hamsters have died already from this nonsense. It doesn't matter what kind of animal is in your care, treat them with care and respect. Otherwise, don't have any around, simple as. Life should be taken seriously, not toyed with.
I had a not so smart friend that had a hamster and he was letting it crawl on his chest while he was standing. Dude was like 5'6 or something at that time, the hamster was in the middle of his chest like on his sternum and then it fell hit the ground and died basically immediately. So can confirm it doesn't take much of a fall for a hamster to get seriously hurt
Hamsters evolved in flat areas. They are so specialized for flatness that they can barely recognize a cliff. If you've ever had a hamster, you know they will just run off the side of a bed or your hands with 0 hesitation. They are not in the slightest sense built to take a fall like that, especially not syrian hamsters which are just as fragile as dwarf hamsters but with extra weight that makes an impact worse. I had a syrian who died from falling off the bottom of the cage lid and getting a brain injury, like 10 inches fall max.
YES! The people out there spouting off about “oh, hamsters can do that body-parachute-thing to reduce drag for an efficient fall” no no no, you’re thinking of squirrels, which were adapted for life in the TREES.
Right?! Like, it’s not like I’m going to devote my life to ending hamster abuse but I’m gonna lend a small hand when presented the opportunity to even if it’s just a minor cause because why wouldn’t you? Just because they aren’t dying or being subject to something worse, doesn’t make it okay. If being a snowflake means doing my best to make the world as healthy and as happy as I can make it, then call me the biggest snowflake on the planet! ❄️😁
Exactly. I know a fair lot abt hamsters and they have poor vision- they are not able to see the edge. Not only that but they can get easily stressed especially because humans and hamsters are very different
It seems like a lot of things will get you labeled as a snowflake as of late. Though, I guess that's always been a thing, just under different guises. If it makes me overly sensitive to care about the well-being of animals, so be it. Sometimes you have to ruin the fun to get things done.
also that the hamster really falls into the but small box, does not fit. It would be a really big coincidence that he falls exactly when he is above the box. The path is quite long and not only exactly the discs turn that could have been above the box.
i can’t believe in today’s day in age a man being concerned for a small animals well being can be considered as a “snowflake sjw” rather than a person making sure they’re not being abused
Thank you for standing by this, it’s so nice to finally hear a voice of reason on this topic. As someone who really loves hamsters so many of my friends kept sending me that stupid video expecting me to love it. Hamsters are sadly abused by so many and because they are so small a lot of people just don’t give a fuck. 😣
The fact that hamster mazes can be done without scaring the hamsters and they still chose to harm them is absolutely insane. I get worried if my bird stands on something that can fall over, and he can fly! Charlie is right everyone
I came back as I am rewatching charlie, this mate. People do mazes with a lot of small animals and dont harm them! Most people would come because it was cute, not because they are in danger.
When I was growing up I was always irked by people who would use excuses like "It's just a cat" or "It's just a dog," animal abuse isn't cool and should never be defended.
Right?? I almost feel like “just a dog/cat/hamster/etc” is worse, bc if it’s “just” an animal it’s kind of implied that there’s a certain amount of helplessness or lack of intelligence. Like?? You want to pick on something you’re acknowledging is not on the same level as you??? You acknowledge the power imbalance??? Bad stuff

I have a burden I've carried, when I like 3 or 4 years old my older sister got a hamster for her birthday. I held it and it fell. This caused it to die. This is horrible what they are doing, hamsters are not very resilient at all and are very fragile. Rip all hamsters.

The hamster is directly on top of the pillars that support the walkway. In the exact same still frame, you can see the bottom of the pillars, meaning we can see the ground DIRECTLY under the hamster. how come a vet couldn't decipher that maybe the first time they shot the video they only recorded with one perspective, and they avoided showing the box w/ foam in those shots.

I have no doubt that all of the hamsters in the video were either severely injured, traumatized, or died directly because of the forced filming.
whoever made it must have known this and used it to make it more similar to actual squid game

It's still wrong to do this since it's unnecessary risk of minor damage, but he, and a lot of animal rights vigilantes got the physics of it backwards

Another thing I'd like to point out concerning the box of cotton under the bridge - There is only one box, at least in the shots provided. Even if there are more, the gap between them would still be too substantial of a flaw, placing the hamster's health at risk. What I'm getting at is, the length of the box is no where near the length of the bridge. when the hamster was hung straight up vertically his height equaled about 6 of those dots of balls or whatever it is that on the supports , in the other clip we can see that one column is more than 20 of these dots or beads or whatever so 20/6= 3.33 , so it is 3.33 times bigger than this hamster, the average hamster length is (5.5-10) cm and since they look young lets say 7 cm , so 3.33 x 7 = 23.31 which lets say 23 , so the height of the fall is more than 23 cm since we dont know exactly how many of those beads or balls are in each column
The amount of stress and anxiety those hamsters were under as well, they were struggling to hold on and not fall. I don't know much about hamsters but I highly doubt that they understood the wouldn't get hurt if there was padding which Charlie clearly disproved. It's honestly sickening
and the happy-go-lucky music somehow makes it even worse
I gotta agree with Charlie on this one. Even if the hamster is fine afterwards its still abuse. If your dad hits you but you aren't injured after it's still abuse. Doesn't matter if the victim is injured afterward it's still abuse and it makes me sick.

“It’s just a hamster” Still, did they have to stoop so low to hurt animals for a video? Just proves how scummy people are, including the ones defending the channel.
Yes
the “just a hamster” argument is so horrible too, it’s a living being that’s scared and in a potentially dangerous and stressful situation
@@yasminaermert4373 I wouldn’t eat a hamster, doesn’t sound right, i also don’t see the your point of assuming that i’m a vegan
Exactly. Like it's not "just a hamster" it's a living breathing creature that feels pain and fear like we do. There's a special place in hell for these kinds of people.
Cry about it. Something you dislike is someones whole world so shut up and sit down
Just having the hamsters cling to the course for their lives is probably super bad by itself, stressing them out which can sometimes outright kill a hamster, or tearing a muscle or breaking a bone trying to pull up their body weight which they CAN'T EVEN DO.
🤝

Another reason removing the dislikes was a bad idea, a bad like/dislike ratio would let unaware people on really quick that there's something wrong with said channel.
I always used the dislike counter when I was looking at do it yourself videos to see what was legit before I wasted my time on it
Exactly, channels like these could continue to thrive without the dislike button bringing them down. I see no reason for it to be removed, because in situations like these, it is crucial to have it.
the fact that the videos he was watching had a good like-dislike ratio is pretty disturbing, but i agree and hate what youtube did
There is a plugin called "return youtube dislikes", evidently the youtube removal of dislikes was done very sloppy such that the data is still coded in the page just not displayed unless you are the owner of the video, the chrome plug in just edits the pages code to make the counter visible.
The original channel already had likes and dislikes disabled on the behind the scenes, yup you could always do this.
There’s no drama here, just straight facts.
I’ve had two hamsters before as kid. When I first got them, the pet worker literally explained to me and my mom that they are not supposed to fall from high platforms or things like tables or chairs cause they CAN hurt themselves.

The way a person treats animals is indicative of how he or she treats or will treat people in the future.

@@iabproductionsofficial get over yourself mate. That whole "everyone is racist and the world is horrible" bullshit is getting so old

This.
