I know from your first listening to Porcupine Tree / Steven Wilson. You were hooked. Same thing happened to me in 2008. My friend called and offered a ticket to see PPT. I tried every which way to say No Thanks. But I gave in and went to the show. From I'd say about 3 bars I was hooked. I told my friend these guys get it. And asked him for everything PPT he had and made copies of all of it. Oh and I did see PPT in 1995. I am a big YES fan and PPT opened for them. I was in the 3rd row. PPT came on and I remember nothing. Really Big YES Fan lol Flash Forward to 2008.
There you have your Steven Wilson solo at the end. Rock Palast (meaning Rock Palace in German) is (was?) the #1 German Live Venue with TV registrations. Big bands have been on that channel. RockPalast is a thing for sure
On the Sunday of Life. The shape of things 2 come. Radioactive toy. About Chenobil atomic power station, fallout up. Hit The UK. And a sick performance..Jon
Hey! It's me, the guy who suggested the Everlong video. One of my favorite rock songs ever is "A Nightmare To Remember" by Dream Theater, and I would love to see you react to it.
One of the few tunes from this first PT album which I will listen to, although I do find it pretty dull and simple. From this same Rockpalast show, do Futile, which was a bonus track from the In Absentia period.
I know you did The Sound of Muzak already but I think this show has the best version they ever did of it. To me it sounds fuller and has better vocals than the arriving somewhere version, imo.
Yes Big Beat Steven is a Very Underrated Guitarist’s…
My Top 3 Most Underrated Guitarist’s Are: Prince, Steven Wilson and Steve Winwood…
Rock Palats was/is THE German stage for live performances that went on air! Palast means Palace
Radioactive Toy= A Nuke Bomb?
It was recorded in 2005…

Where have you gone? We miss you!
Glad to see you back! Great tune. That tune was released 1992.
I agree with you, Steven doesn't get the credit he deserves as a lead guitar soloist.

Yeah, Futile is definitely a great one.
Harmony korine ,live by Steven Wilson is a corker.
I have done that one.. thanks for watching
Can't tell if the radioactive toy is a nuclear bomb, or some contraption Stevens dad brought home from work one day... lol
HAHAHA

iconic song! to bad the pace is a little off. This live version is a lot slower than the studio version.
💋 'promo sm'!
