Due respect for your talent and efforts. I ran the shifter kart road course circuit in the early 2000’s doing about five or six races a season. VIR, Road Atlanta, Charlotte, and a lot of very smaller road courses which were more fun in some regards as I camped at all circuits in my 6’x10’ hauling trailer. Your kart and competition was, in my opinion, the ultimate experience. It drew the few and far between that had the mechanical skills, tools, time, talents of many variety, and finances and could hand make a rocket. It was sometimes only an audible tremor behind me that warned me of the impending pass, to put it politely. Good luck. Grin big.
Going 140mph down a straight and casually adjusting something on the screen was absolutely nerve racking to watch. I have no idea why but jesus that was wild. 1:51
Or - the piston gets way too “warm” and the melted piston metal locks the rings so they no longer seal properly. 7000+ revs did not help. This wasn’t a kart engine, but a bike - nor was it nearly as highly tuned. There was an air leak - those things need their torques checked periodically. You know they’re leaky when they start idling up. Was glad it quit fairly close (5 minutes or so of pushing) to home. Was glad it did not *seize* on the freeway.
Old karter's adage....engines always run strongest just before they blow up.....you have a good attitude about it.
Your right about that. Murphy’s law of kart racing. I can’t tell you how times I was leading a race and the motor let go.
YEP! Done that plenty of times!

Thank you No! Daytona is a special place for sure!
Not using the bus stop;😮
Correct. In karting, they decided not to use it. I wish they did!
Looked class how the other kart fighters blitzed by in the space time curve!

Lol... I was looking at my temps. Thanks for watching!
This is a go kart? Jesus this thing would smoke a Ferrari…didn’t know this was a thing…respect
Thanks man! They are a blast for sure!
Heads up maneuver 👍🏼
Paulie , I have some footage of you down the main straight . Will look for it and send it your way. See in in Daytona
Damn that concrete wall is close if your engine or tyre fails
That looks insane!
It's not, get in behind the steeringwheel , I do the same speed too. Ken Andersson
Its a whole lotta fun!
How much do these things cost to run?
I was gonna ask the same. Shouldnt be much at all .. most the parts are common
What would cause your exhaust gas temps to climb like that? Would that be an exhaust valve issue normally?
I had a small air leak where the carbs mount to the engine. So the added air made the fuel mixture too lean.
That wall....
Looks safe
What were the EGT's? Looks like about 1230?
As a Champ Kart racer.... My BP just raised a few points 😂
If you crash... u are dead
A réellement du mal, à passé 200 kmh, après ne tiens aucun point de vue sur la corde et sortie 🤔❤️🌄
Mario Kart 9
I wanna see your plug.. LoL

Plugs werent bad... front piston had a hole in it though!
@@PaulieGattoRacing Hey Paul , I had a woodpecker who got on my front piston, funny front piston both of us!

Too skakey
:(
Racing Daytona is incredibly boring…. Al about horsepower and the draft out of T4
