In this episode we take a look at the new C1 during the IAE event and do a small trade route. Good profit for new players or small ship traders

This video is fantastic. I pledged for a Zeus CL but was given the Spirit C1 as a temporary ship and it is fun to fly. Will definitely be giving this route a shot. I picked up the MSR too because it flies so nicely too.

@@EnixSC Just looked up the Odyssey - that looks pretty big and very cool. Will be running the route mentioned above later - probably using the MSR since it has more CC.

Had to snag the C1, love it's speed and agility, and the cargo room for small hauls and taking my ROC out.
Definitely worth it, looks to be a contender for one of the best daily drivers. o7
Also has the Bonus that it can easily fit some "ownerless" SU Size Boxes just lying around. Even the Big ones.

100% agree with you, it's a perfect size for another box.
@@EnixSC I think the reason that they didn't do this is because being able to carry 96 SCU with the speed of this thing would make the Zeus MKII ES the useless buy, whereas you can cram extra into the MKII ES and use an alternate entry point now, maybe pushing those on the fence towards the costlier ship. They knew what they were doing by giving the C1 a ramp only entry.
@@JosMyOpinion Very true This ship is classed as a starter so had to be around the same Scu as the cutty. If you look at the Zeus it's similar in size so in my opinion C1 should be a smaller footprint, but on reflection that extra space is good for a small vehicle which makes it an even better daily driver
@@EnixSC Yep, that's true - an excellent daily. I bought a Zeus MK II CL for 2 reasons after renting the C1 during IAE.
1. Massive cargo for a medium sized ship, with a smaller footprint, access to better jump points, and a great design. It fulfills the top end of my freighter needs solo and allows for some excellent escorted cargo runs with friends.
2. I'll get a C1 as a loaner so I'll be able to use that for quite a while and compare them later.
If they had another entry, yeah. As it is putting a crate there would mean you'd have to use the tractor beam to clear the path every time you exited the ship. But I am curious how safe it will be to store something like the Ranger in the middle down the line

Well spotted been waiting for this comment. The original plan was Anvik but swapped to McGrath as it was closer. Said the wrong location and did not notice on multiple test views before posting. Both locations are ok though so take your pick o7
I tried this, worked well but if the Research station on Cleo has bought all the distilled spirits they can store, then they only refresh demand at 5 SCU a tick. Just an FYI, at least that's what happened to me.
I like carrying spirits as you can sell them at every location, same with meds you can always sell them at the next stop. But thanks for the information, always good to know stock levels
I filled a. Crusader M2 with over 500scu of distilled spirits and it took me a long time to sell it all at Tressler 😅
@@RobinHartJones Very sorry about that, I forgot to explain about the spirits, they are the same as meds and can only be sold in large quantities at main ports. Most places will only take 160 per server tic so they are used just like the meds in a larger ship to improve the profit of lesser commodities.
I have a question: What does the "" mean under the ship type?
I think it's to do with the ship location. When you spawn your ship it will say hanger..... But at an outpost the pad does not have a name.

i like my msr better but the c1 is the next best thing i love it, its a mini msr
Msr is a solid choice, With the C1 having a short claim time and big fuel tank I'm using it far more than I thought I would. My one is a loaner for the Zeus and I'm honestly thinking of adding one to my fleet when the time comes.
try daymar scd1 for gold and sell it arcorp trade center... :)
Is there a working economy in SC that players can affect?
We do effect stock price and availability by trading. Each location can have a different amount of stock and refresh rate, if it's oversold price will change. Same with sell locations, they will only take a certain amount and will change price accordingly.

Any and all locations around Microtech are being targeted by Pirates, players looking for easy newbs as targets to take out. Better to start out around Arc corp for learning how to run small trade routes while the free fly is on.
Should Ichoose tarous insted?
Taurus is a brilliant ship, it's a step up from the C1. Lots more cargo space and was the ship that I started trading in. IAE is a good opportunity to try all ships before you buy so keep checking the event each day for free rentals
My Taurus gets a a lot of use. I can get bounties, cargo, bunker and mining runs. Unless, I run across suicidal npc's, it keeps bringing me back.

Yep, I have doors on a keybind. Not really a good idea at dangerous locations though
@@EnixSC I see you turn your engines off all the time, highly recommend you not . Shields will take time to come up. I won’t even turn ramps up, I would only turn the airlock door off tbh , also one thing ramps bother me a lot lately is that, some terrains are not flat and sometimes you don’t land on a flat surface, your ramps can be too high off the ground and you won’t be able to get back in the ship
Oh also. How did you turn the things on the two side of your wings up? My landing button does not do that, only the landing wheels
@@catfood4142 That's Vtol mode, helps with vertical takeoff and landing. I also have it set to my joystick but I think it's K by default
@@catfood4142 power is still up, I only turn the engine off. Again I have them set on my joystick but it would be U to power off entirely( including shield) but I just does engine. It's an old habit as the ship used to get blown away by the wind if you left the engine on while at an outpost. But you are right never ever power down shields and always lock your door. Maybe it's O for engines not I, I can't remember the keys anymore with having them on my joystick for so long.
My c1 is only 10 years insurance, is there really a big difference between 10 years and LTI? Because if I can it to LTI it would cost some extra ._.
Apparently when they introduce insurance we will be able to buy it ingame. Lti just means you will never need to worry about that cost but 10years is also a very long time. I do worry about my 6 month Lightning though.
@@EnixSCwhat if we have paid for a ship with real and insurance is added, but the insurance has run up and your ship Is destroyed. Any idea what will happen or has CIG said anything?
@@zzmuffin2 to be honest I think they are still working on the details. Ships bought with real money won't be lost but instead stored away ( impounded ) and released for a small ingame fee. I've read that ingame ships without insurance will need to be bought again.
true, gonna stick with that, I believe it also says 10 years in-game, so it would even be longer.
@@lunch7553 oh yep, it's definitely 10 years from when they start insurance. I don't think we will see that in alpha or beta.
What tools do you use to find trade routes?
Sc trade tools and UEX are a good place to start but I have made my own spreadsheet for easy planning.
Where did you go to get the gold?
Smo 18 Microtech, all explained in the video. o7
How long is a server tick?
Around 15 minutes. Terminals are linked on a shard so you are competing against other servers even if your location looks empty.
Is this ship available now? I’ve heard that this ship is just a concept ship
its out now, free to rent in game for 2 days atm. otherwise its for sale now in the store

@@EnixSC :D man :D i am mostly dissapointed because of their pricing and rly weird priorities in developement. At this point, i think they should finish stanton. stabilize and optimize whole game (build sturdy base system), unbug it amd go massive into storyline and release it asap. Then focus on mechanics of PU. And i would love to see some creativity in quests in PU :/

Interesting. So now ERT have been hit your saying pirates don't want one of the highest paying commodities. Not sure which pirates you are talking to but I'm guessing they are new to this
@@EnixSC The most highly paid goods are drugs and composite materials. Something that sells for millions, not tens of thousands of AUE
@@KarikhSergey you need to check out other commodities, Gold is not tens of thousands. Beryl is also another good one, you hit a player with a full load of those and it's millions. Drugs is old news with the hit to Ert loot pool, you won't be hitting ships with a full load of those anymore. Speak to any pirate that's been around for more than one patch cycle and they will tell you the same. RMC has been available to traders for 4 weeks and drugs in large quantities came from Ert, without that you have to buy in small amounts and that's only tens of thousands.
