Carrack is my favorite by far... run all my cargo missions in it.. Odyssey on order, as well as Banu, Idris and Polaris, but something tells me I'll always go back to my Carrack.
Can't say I never had to wait at A18 but it was once out of a dozen trips. Awesome video and it'll be cool if the Carrack gets some modules in the future.

@@EnixSC Agreed! ... I was a little put out at first when pirates grabbed me out of quantum, killed me and started unloading my 7 mil of RMC. But then I was able to make it back to my body marker with the Inferno and ambushed their asses! ah, what fun lol! :D
I would like to see us cargo movers have a different landing area. It could be made to look more like the cargo centres on the stations. Keep the trains but make it more immersive just like port Olisar was.
I turned and do a little less Trading, i got one of Crusaders Contraband Policemen xD i just do vhrts now and scoopimg all the Quantanium. Even after the "nerf" i got a huge luck. i got soft deathed a NPC Pirate C2 in a VHRT and it got 400 SCU Quantanium *-* Sometime Chris God is shinying upon a Player :D But thanks for the Video, i got killed at the location. the Pirate set explosives in form of Mining Gadgets. In the Moment where i clicked buy the sniper shot at the Mining tool and i died lol.... Pirates get Creative xD
I was finding it a lot easier to sell at Arcorp Area 18 as the demand always seems lower at Lorville. Cool vid though and as others say explains the number of wrecks at the trade center. Big patch coming though and it will all change again.. 🎉
100% agree with Area 18 being the better sell location, I even recommended it in the guide. Not only a better sell location but my favourite city. Can't wait for the update, as a cargo mover it will bring so much to our little gameloop.
They should just add landing zones closer to tdds, or move tdds closer to spaceports. It makes no sense to put them so far apart. Even in real life all the trading is happening at the ports (or even online).
Definitely should have different landing areas. When we have more of a finished game we would have industrial, military, exploration and commercial all leaving from the same port. The cities are big enough to have separate landing zones for each.

Its great! But with the patch coming in 44 days it will be useless because of the new cargo changes wher the carrack will be unusable but i do love this! :o great run!
No worries, I have tested with the C2 and you can hover over the platform and open your front ramp so it touches the floor. Easy to jump in and out and sell without fully landing, just need to make sure you leave room for the train or it will wreck you

The only thing that bugs me about the Carrack use in this way is that the hangar door doesnt close automatically (and opens) when you are near with the ship. kind of leaves it open, which i dont like when im not nearby. hope to get that function one of these updates heheh!
@@EnixSC indeed. could be so easily implimented. when you get into the small ship, the door opens, when you are further than X meters, the door closes. I think the idea is that you are not meant to fly it solo. BUT the thing is, nobody can be in the ship when buying, or else it gives an error. so im suggesting a good old remote opener heheh
@@TruckerCletus would be a good feature in the mobiglass. They definitely need to fix the ability to sell while others are on your ship before crew gameplay goes live.

A18 stock is usually a lot better and you don't have to wait... I use C2 with a fury in it and am able to still pack in 600SCU RMC in the C2 when i do choose to do Lorville. But when going to A18 it's the full 696SCU, all in one go... no waiting.
Thanks for the info on the fury, if I go with C2 then I just angle my ramp so I can jump out on to the platform but it's good to know the Scu amounts. Tbh 90% of the time I go to area 18, I only used Lorville for a bit of fun and to show the landing. o7

Trader mechanics is STILL the most financially risky career in the game. Went full broke TWICE, not again Risk vs reward is not balanced currently (2023) Risk $5 MILLION, to only make 20 % Risk $100,000, to only make 20 % Risk $$500, to only make 20 %
Very true but to some it's more about the experience. Most days I'm not running the most profitable commodities or anywhere near a good profit per hour but I am having fun. The times I lost out to a pirate was something I've not experienced in other games and was still fun. Even though we are 10 years in it's still early days and I can't wait to see what this gameloop will offer.
Any ship is good to start. When you have a small cargo bay you can take advantage of places that have low stock, big C2 owners will skip some locations as they would need to wait for stock to refresh so they can fill up. Let me know your ingame name and I will send you a few million to get started.
Server tic is 15 minutes. Unfortunately we are oversold more than ever due to players cheating with a cargo dupe. Hopefully fixed soon so us traders can get back to work.
@@ChiefoEngineer tbh I've had to take a break from trading while this exploit is live. It's ruined my gameloop and that's why I've not been posting new content. Most of the top earning commodities are being used for the dupe but if you really want to run some routes then looking further down the list with Diamond or Agricium might be more successful. Or maybe looking into linking commodities to keep you out longer visiting multiple locations before you head back to a city. I have covered this type of trading in a few of my videos and even though it does not make the most profit per hour it's definitely fun.

I did not sell for 4. Started with 69.6 million and ended up with 70.8. Had to wait for server tick to sell the rest, I think you maybe only spotted the last one
Pickers field Hurston. You can't land in the location I show in the video anymore, it was removed in the latest patch. Still a good run though and will make you 1.7 million in the C2

If you try and land near that train it will wreck you. I have done this in multiple ships , just hovering enough to be able to jump back on the ramp.

Is it me or is it always dark or nearly dark at Pickers Field? Maybe its a polar location?
I just thought I was unlucky, never occurred to me it might be polar.
Maybe you already know this, but I just learned that OM1 is the north pole, OM2 is south pole, and OM3, 4 etc. are the equator.

If it touches the train it will destroy your ship, I've landed a C2 multiple times but needed to be extra careful.

They are patching the Lorville landing soon. Won't be able to land at the TDD. They mentioned it in some notes recently.
Tbh with the way we will need to load cargo soon they won't need to change it. So it's just a little bit of fun while we wait for the patch.
