Gaudeamus igitur, riemuitkaamme siis! Sinfonia Lahti juhlistaa keväisen koulutyön päättymistä ja kesän alkamista perinteisellä akateemisella sävelmällä. Nauhoitukset on tehty kymmenen hengen ryhmissä, ja mukana soivassa lopputuloksessa ovat kaikki orkesterin muusikot. Kuvauspaikkana toimii klassinen koulumiljöö, vuonna 1928 valmistunut Lahden lyseon päärakennus.
Gaudeamus igitur, therefore let us rejoice! The Lahti Symphony Orchestra celebrates the end of school spring term and the beginning of summer with a traditional academic melody. The recordings have been made by groups of ten players, and all the orchestra’s musicians are involved in the final result. The location is a classic school environment, the main building of Lahden Lyseo (Lahti Grammar School), completed in 1928.
