Just found a set of paddles at my local junkyard off a totaled 2010 infiniti fx35! Only cost me 16 bucks and they went on perfectly on my 2012 g37 despite me dropping them on the concrete when I got home
did you find success in cutting your own steering shroud? i just bought the paddles not knowing that the shroud needed to be replaced/fixed and i'm not sure if i should source a new one(if you have a link that would be great) or if i should modify my own
No luck on the cut out of the original shroud. I got the paddle shroud from Z1. Just be careful that you order the correct one. I ordered the same ones I had at first. In the site image they look the same. To be for sure just give them a call.
Not fully sure on G35's but they did have a paddle options. You can check by pulling off the colum shroud. ua-cam.com/video/E9MGHs0ey8o/v-deo.html. If you have the two leads on the harness you can get the shifters.
I will add outside of the cool factor these do not improve the shift speeds. Letting the computer control the shifts in regular sport is the fastest path. I proved this at the drag strip.
I did not get far. I should have looked closer at the factory piece it's in 3 sections. I believe you will have to cut out the mid section at the bottom then cut a channel to go around the shifters then find a way to meld it back together. I ended up just buying the new pieces from Z1.

Thanks. Their great platforms to tinker with. Just had my UpRev tune done so I can say its a true 13 sec car now.

I'm not sure if my come in pre-wiring
You’ll have to pull the steering shroud and see if you have the leads. It’s Easy to check.
2015 Infiniti q40
jeffjl12 Not specifically familiar but it’s probably the same to check. Look to the forums for more info.
Do you have ig so I could send pic
@@jeffjl12 I dont. Watch this video. If your Q has the leads for paddles they should look like this. ua-cam.com/video/E9MGHs0ey8o/v-deo.html
Great video
Would this work on a 07-08 g35 sedan? Not much on it, and does it need to be the sport package?

Dang I can’t believe they work
Work good but won't speed up the shifts. Still cool to have.
I need the m6 nuts and bolts do you know any links I can get them?
I just got them at my local hardware store.
Where can I buy these?
Best bet is a salvage yard or on line breakers. I got mine on eBay.
Would this work on a 08 g35?
I think 07-08 G35 use the same shifters but you will have to see if your harness has the connectors under the steering shroud.
ua-cam.com/video/E9MGHs0ey8o/v-deo.html How to check.
OGeezer37 Thanks i’ll check it
👍👍 how did u fit the bottom shroud? I wanna do the same without paying for the shroud
