I did get my mouth taped shut once. Worst was when I brought a Dragon magazine into school and the principal took it and dragged me to her office to lecture me and say that I was literally going to hell in all seriousness...I think I was 12 or 13.
Possible, but unlikely. I'm fairly certain that the order of the Sisters of Sigmar is long-since defunct in the game's timeline and Volkmar already does pretty much the same thing they do. If anything, I would like to see them added TO Volkmar's faction as an upgrade to Flagellants or something, kind of like the Mistwalkers for Eltharion or - if we might be so lucky - the old Barrow Legions for Kemmler. Themed lords and armies are always fun.
I just got done painting a Sisters warband. i have found three Mordheim minis for cheap and using one Novitiates model and the rest are Reaper minis. I just got done building a Witch Hunter warband so they're next on the paint table and since I have no Fantasy terrain with verticality so I'm building up some of my Necromunda terrain to use as we figure out if we want to continue playing Mordheim. I'm excited to play since I wasn't a fan of the Warcry mechanics.
If memory serves, the time when Mordheim was set was called the War of the Three Emperors, because there were three fighting candidates for the Imperial Throne, and furthermore one of those candidates was a woman aspiring to be the first ever Empress. If Warhammer: The Old World does ever come to be, I could see a variant army, in the vein of 6th edition, for the Empire forces to represent her troops specifically, and she could field Sisters of Sigmar as one of her unique units - say, Matriarch and/or Augury Heroes, Sisters as a Rare or Special choice? I mean, it makes sense to me that the woman contesting for the Imperial Throne would likewise throw her support behind the only female-dominant sect of the Church of Sigmar...

The Order of the Sisters of Sigmar are a very nice example of the variety of the Empire factions, and i would love to see them in game of curse. Seeing that the Order is in a very bad fase and it wont even get enough Novices, to recover its numbers i can see a campain to reconstruct the Order to its former glory. Well seing that the Sisters of Sigmar are not getting enough new novices from the nobility, i would see that they could recrute new novices from the commun people of the Empire Realms. The Image of The Order of the Sisters of Sigmar to the Empire's Nobility, is not in a good shape because of the influence of other rival Empire factions that are relegating it to a secundary role. But the Order's past deeds in healing the sick across the Empire had made a strong image of the Order to the Common People that will not fade easily. Of curse these would have their faith tested even more then the Noble Ladies that enter the Order. These will not be Novices before passing this "purgatory" like fase were the commun ladies will be educated and trained in the ways of the order, and if they prove to be worthy they will be given the honnor of entering the Order and then become Novices themselfs. Only a few of them can endure the hard trials and survive this "purgatory" fase to enter in the Order of the Sisters of Sigmar, but the ones that manage to become Novices will be at least as good as any Noble lady that serves the cause!
Mordheim: City of the Damned had a few more units Purifiers are glass canon spell casters that had hard hitting melee charges as well "Sigmar's Purifiers of the Sisterhood have embraced the martial aspects of Sigmar with fervour beyond that of the rest of their order. Their faith is of such an extreme that by sheer force of will they are able to draw upon the divine power of their god to unleash spells upon their foes. A Purifier is utterly fearless in battle, attacking with a combination of cold steel and holy magic that few can withstand." Maidens of Sigmar were the 'impressive' unit that took up two hero slots. They could swing two handed weapons multiple times in one turn without gaining fatigue, and I think they had some prayer spell casting stuff "In rare circumstances, the devotion of a Zealot is such that she is endowed with a divine aura by Sigmar. Holy light radiates from the exalted Zealot, strengthening the faith of believers and provoking the fear of heretics. Sacred heavy armour, long held within the Rock, is bestowed upon the Maiden, reclaimed only when she is no more and returned to the vaults to await the next worthy to wear it."
I don’t think so, the word bearers only fell because Lorgar couldn’t find any other gods to worship, that’s not really a problem in fantasy. But idk I’ve only got second hand sources.

CA does seem to love adding female units/characters. Perhaps we'll get them in the next Warhammer Total War 3 dlc?

Empire has a ton of units to be implemented. I hope at least 6-7 units are added with the next dlc
