Damn at least he knew then what politics the court played back then and now the court has gutted the voting right act, roe. Citizens united the most insulting and Ted Cruz made that campaign financial laws are now weaker
It's also notable that Alan only goes after the conservative justices. Obviously, this show is incredibly liberal, but it's also notable that the liberal justices on the court have much cleaner records and consistent decisions.
No, Alan is notoriously liberal. His co-council and best friend, Denny Crane, is conservative. There are a lot of liberal undertones (but at least in the episodes I've watched, there are also conservative undertones).

He is not a SJW in this scene, but a genuine "good" person that points out flaws in a clearly broken system/state. It's quite lazy of you to "stamp" him as a SJW, just because he points out genuine problems of the US legal system. Try to approach every statement that comes from a person of the other side of the bench, with the inner conviction that there might be truth in what they say, and you'll expand your horizon tenfold.
@@MB-kx6jo Thing is, genuinely good people who just point out actual problems are exactly who dumbasses really mean when they say "SJW". Except "SJW" is outdated now. They've moved on to co-opting "woke" to belittle all support for minorities or leftism in general.
About time someone "goes after" the supreme court. We have a majority that doesn't give two shits about ethics, impartiality, conflicts of interest, self dealing/serving, and accepting blatant kickbacks and bribes.
This show, without doubt is one of the best written shows on television. The writing is brilliant, the acting unsurpassed and the topics so relevant.
Proud of your confirmation bias. The writers were showing their leftist progressive whacked out falsehoods. Great propaganda if you're a leftist. 😂
Alan Shore would win anyday against Harvey Specter..... ANYDAY!!!
I want to watch that show down
Given how emotional Alan gets, Harvey would have him dig his own grave
and Raymond Reddington will smash Alan Shore 😁
But his emotion would make Alan more compelling, maybe it would be a tie

Never study law if you want to continue enjoying legal dramas
I’ve studied law. Never study law if you want to maintain your moral compass.
Why? Do you realize that the protagonist is actually wrong? 😂 (genuine question)
@El Mostrito is that really true?
This is what we really would like our Supreme Court to be. The w4iting on this show was absolutely brilliant.
You can study law and keep your moral compass if you keep your morals locked in your mind and your soul
The show is what lawyers want to say to the Court but cannot. A cathersis, of a legal kind.
Underrated comment

James Spader is amazing. He was genius as Alan Shore but absolutely masterful as Raymond Redington
Well Alan, god knows what you'd think of the court today. Probably go full Reddington.
Even moreso after RBG died.
Honestly 🤣
None of those justices would be alive if he went full Reddington
I loveee this show! Alan Shore is my inspiration. His 'speech' is still relevant to this day
Exactly!

Oh wow. That is a machine gun of a mouth.
Never been blessed with this.
It's 2022 and the supreme court is even worse now
irl he'd be dragged away after 1 minute
One of the best actors if not thee very best.
This TV show predicted so much of our frightening reality.
We need Alan to take on the supreme court today.
In the words of the immortal Tuco Salamanca “you got some mouth on you.”
I loved him so as Alan Shore❤ from South Africa 🇿🇦
James Spader. 🐐🐐

Ooohhh I just love the way this man defend his clients. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
If only this kind of conduct was allowed. The justices would have stopped the guy and told him to keep his comments relevant to the case.

Best show of all time
Very very on point after the recent rulings
In real life he would be charged of Contempt and dragged out of court.
This is just as relevant today.
The crazy thing, the really crazy thing, is that this kind of thing can only happen in a TV show
Correct me if i'm wrong, but wouldn't he have been stopped earlier in his speech?
I love it!
In real life, Mr. Shore would have been facing the wrath of those supreme court Judges... Might have been spending his time in Jail.
Wow.... this has aged very well since roe v wade was overturned the other week.....

Maybe this clip needs to be played more today than ever as it’s more true today than ever
This channel should have been creared long time ago..
Amazing
Alan Shore outclassed the SCOTUS completely.
No wonder Raymond Reddington represented himself in court in the Blacklist
Shore's comments about the Supreme Court are just as applicable in 2024 as when they were filmed.
Put down the magazine Thomas. Hahaha
