Man, this is why you guys are my favorite reaction channel. PWD is my all-time favorite band and seen them 3 times here in Texas. I’ve loved them since I went to their MySpace and heard Boneyards for the first time. If people watched Viva the underdogs they’d know what sound parkway is going for now but I bet they will have harder stuff on the album. I thought this was pretty great. Just glad you guys get it and aren’t shitting on them for trying to make money they rightfully deserve while still keeping their riffy and hard breakdown roots!

Old Parkway will always have a place in my heart but I really love the direction they've been taking the last few years with their sound. It feels fresh and modern but still has that distinct Parkway style and vibe to it. Every note has so much weight to it.
Funny enough a few days before this released I had searched around to see if they had put anything new out because they had been somewhat quiet. I legitimately thought I just might've missed something (as keeping up with every single band is hard, as I'm sure you're aware) then like clockwork this comes out. It blew my mind how it's like they *know* you miss them. And I swear to you guys... every time I see new PD it always puts a smile on my face and I'm glad you enjoyed the new track. I don't have anything to suggest this time around, but still love to give you my input regardless! Cheers gentlemen.
I loved this, I’d back anything Parkway puts out, I personally love their band evolution. If I want super heavy I’ll just listen to their oldest stuff. I’d love to see them live, my only regret was not seeing them live in Australia when I was their on my honeymoon.

Parkway Drive was the best show i've seen, and i've seen many great bands like Slipknot. It was 2018 in Helsinki at a summer festival as a headliner of the day. They used lots of pyros and sound of the show was explosive. Winston's screams and vocals were amazing for the whole time. Their energy was really positive and they got everyone jumping all the time. I can't stress how good they were
You guys reacted so much better than a few reacters I've seen react to it who are just jaded about this song... 🤘🤘🤘

I’d say they released this song as the first single because it’s just a showcase that there is gonna be a different sound in the new album so be prepared.

To hell with the people who bitch and will say this is not heavy enough. A band is allowed to evolve and change. Winston is doing some pretty sick things with cleans and his singing, still has insane tones and riffs with guitar and you know this will set off a crowd with that long breakdown and drums. So yeah they are back and I’m so fucking happy!! #PWD #GLITCH #LETSGO

I would 100% recommended listening to the Deep Blue album & then watch the “Home is for the heartless” documentary! … you’re gonna love the band overall! And then you’re just gonna dive in to the band with a different set of eyes, you’re gonna feel like you’re watching your friends & it’s the best!

@@SouthSwellin I ain’t clueless m8 as someone who is in a rock band my self, and listens to a lot of rock and metal. A HEAVY song doesn’t means it has to be fast or have tons of blast beasts. Most of the time the slower songs/ ones have a driving simple groove are the heaviest.

@6:11 you said it "imagine it live" i can now say after seeing them in Germany at their European Tour last Month: HOLY SHIT :D They used an Intro in which "Glitch" was fading into as an opener for their Set, and it was an absolute BANGER :D
Killing With A Smile, Horizons, Don't Close Your Eyes.... That's the Parkway Drive I miss. Especially Killing With A Smile and Horizons, I absolutely loved those albums!
Agree with you guys a lot, some people just won’t ever be happy. I would LOVE to hear a modern day Don’t Close Your Eyes, or Killing With A Smile, or Horizons. It’s just never going to happen unfortunately. Their evolution could definitely have gone worse. Most bands in metalcore that have been around as long as PWD are way softer now. Winston said in an interview that you can’t force them to put something specific out because at the end of the day, it’s about what makes THEM happy.
Yeah, there are a lot of entitled music fans out there.

Totally agree with this intro boys! Parkway were quality at metalcore and I’ve been a fan since the start but they have evolved and progressed and I’m here for it! The new sound that we have been having is still so good and shows versatility from Winston on his vocals too. I like the track and I can’t wait for more. So many people need to stop wanting bands to be what they were 10-15 years ago it’s called evolving!

I think you guys summed it up perfectly, yes their sounds has changed, but they are doing their new sound right, and i wont be surprised if they lead the industry with this new "arena metal" vibe. Cant wait to hear what else they have been working on!

Alot of ppl taking bad about them... I LOVE Parkway Drive and they are amazing live. No matter if they had changed their sound up little or not.they are a amazing band.
Their words have real meaning to them and the band stand for something positive in my opinion. They don't have to be hardcore all the time.. I love ALL types of music so this song is perfect for me. If I want to hear all that deathmeal or whatever yo I listen to Lorna Shore or something lol.
They been making music over 12 years and they are still amazing yo but that is my personal opinion.

This track sounds very similar to their previous albums Ire and Atlas, but still not their best stuff, hope we can hear some elements of the first 3 albums from the upcoming tracks.
TIL I'm part Australian since my typical filler word is fuck. 😂 The song was great, and you were right on the stadium rock, I could absolutely see this in a stadium with tens of thousands of people singing the chorus.
It does get fucking cold here in Canada Boys hahaha thank God it's summer here lol. Super fun arena track, arena metal done right! Also Johnny alot of Facebook groups are unfortunately really toxic about anything that isn't "oldschool" haha

I always liked Winston’s vocals that’s why I listen to them and I don’t expect him to keep the same vocals 10 years ago or more that’s expecting to much

Even though this is one of the worst songs they've ever made they deserve to go in whatever direction they want and they deserve all the success they will get moving forward. They have given us some incredible albums I'll always support them and they'll always be one of my favorite bands.
I actually avoided listening to this considering the comments I was seeing on PWDs post.. fuck me I missed out... very pleasantly surprised.

I loved early Parkway but by the time Atlus was out I was over it, was like meh it was ok but nothing special and never really played it heaps. so I really enjoyed Ire and Reverence which surprised me given my taste in heavier style of music, Given when Vice Grip first came out I hated it but it grew on me, this song it's not bad It is also growing on me but it's not worth all the hate that it is getting, Too many fans complain when bands stay the same (Electric Callboy for example is one getting the but it's all the same in comments) Yet when a band changes they get even more complaining. I for one hate the new Bring me the Horizon style but it's what the band want to do I accept that move on, no need to bash fans or the band for it, there are plenty of other heavy bands out there still smashing it up.
Not sure why but the lead vocals have never been my favorite. Pretty much never gotten into them for that reason.
I was underwhelmed, I don't care that they changed their sound, i have loved all their albums, I reverence on repeat for ages when it came out, but this just did not do it for me. I don't think it was bad by any means, I just wanted more, for such a huge comeback, I expected more.
Yep I absolutely agree, I feel bad expecting so much and being disappointed but like it’s been 4 years or so since they last release anything and wanted something different from them

That main riff is so simple and musically boring that its almost an insult. The nu-metal rap style vocals are painful. I can see this song being good live, but you can't make every song with only that in mind. It sounds like it was made exclusively for German open air festivals
