People don’t realize how low drop rates are for just a TWO out of FIVE roll (just the two perks you want). On the twelve perk per column the odds start all the way down SUB 1%. Seven perks in each column start out around 2%. For reference, one of the worst singular bets in a casino is betting a single number on Roulette and that has better odds at 2.6%. Almost the only thing that seems acceptable enough odds that aren’t special circumstances is 3 perks for each drop on the 12 perk weapons which I think is up around 8% (3 perks on 7 perk weapons do exist but that’s adept raid weapons currently).
Same with so many weapons I chased for, no crafting = no engagement with the season by me. I will get the new exotics, do the dungeon a few times and that's it
my first roll i got was an appended mag, rimestealer, headstone. 100% using it with the new exotic warlock chest. its so fun having massive nukes with all the frozen pillars around
Note that just like the BRAVE weapons from 50-wave original Onslaught, these weapons can drop with double perk columns and full masterwork from 50-wave Salvation Onslaught. I got Rimestealer/Stats for All and Precision Instrument/One for All with range masterwork. Also, Expert Eventide Ruins has a bug that it won't go up in power level at the moment (stays at 2010). Man... all the weapons from both episodes, while not mechanically optimal AT LEAST feel unique and different enough from our old gear. The Echoes set spawning radiolaria pools and the Revenant set giving us a cool overflow minigame are just small tweaks to the identities of weapons more so than the other origin traits we've gotten. Also, a problem 120s have in PvE is their mag size. Missing a single round frontloads a lot of your damage out the garbage chute. Being able to immediately overflow your mag and mag dump as much as you want takes away almost all the downsides of running a 120 HC.
Here’s the deal with the whole “crafting vs farming” conversation that everyone loves… You have a statistically better chance of winning betting on a single number at Roulette (one of the worst bets possible) than you do of landing just the two perks and ONLY the two perks (so a 2/5) you want on a 7 perk per column weapon with one perk dropping in each column. Casino employees would steer you away from such bets… there’s fliers everywhere and your friends and family would tell you to seek professional help. However, since this is a game the response is “it’s a looter shooter bruv.” Respect your own time and money better and tell Bungie to do better. Great review, though, as always CoolGuy.
@@giantslayer9335 What is bait? It’s the objective truth. Someone made a weapon roll calculator and a 2/5 roll on a seven perk per column weapon is 2.04%. Single number bet on Roulette is 2.6%. At a casino when you do a very questionable move in blackjack the dealer will literally tell you that you have a chance to reconsider. I play the game and I enjoy the game… I’m sorry that the reality of how low the odds are seem so shocking people like yourself don’t think it’s real.
I played around with this roll a little bit and man it’s very nice. You can do big area damage and easily keep frost armor up. I’ll be using this hand cannon with stasis builds which looks to be the thing to be running right now… at least for my stasis warlock. I’m just trying to decide what to run in special slot. Tessilation could be good since that can also be stasis damage. The good thing is that it’s a 120 and it hits hard
I lost a match if 6's and got a fluted barrel, accurized, keep away, precision instrument drop... made my day 🤷🏻♂️🤣 already had the rime, headstone in the vault ... guns is 💯
It is very good, I deleted my triple tap headstone roll after I got a rimestealer. Personally I would take tac mag over accurized, with corkscrew as it has very low handling and stability and the extra round is nice for both PVP and the PVE overflow thing.
Just an FYI: I was testing the origin trait, without the artifact perk upgrading it, it only gives approx 50% overflow not 100% (as well as only spawning 1 orb) which isn't listed as part of the perk, but its suuuuuch a good origin trait regardless, I'm hooked on using multiple weapons with it too!
id love to have a bit of a head to head discussion on this handcannon vs the demo/headstone Bold Endings from the Pale heart. Both are stasis handcannons with headstone, Both have ways to circumvent reloading with either origin perk or demo itself. I guess you can say bold endings syncs better with true stasis because of something like grim harvest and Exuvuae has frost armor built in to itself. But i gotta point out that i love running Bold Endings on prism hunter with a GPG build.. 2 diff grenades to avert reload and everything is always blowing up from crystals and GPG. To me this new handcannon is same same but different..
Rimestealer is nutty with the new Warlock exotic, Rime-Coat Raiment. The enhanced stasis turret spawns 4 crystals so you can get max Frost Armor immediately.
I love my Something New so I'm really happy about this HC. The only role Something New has over this is demo headstone which still doesnt make me want to use it over this.
To me it’s legendary wicked Implement, which I insanely value as I can easily pair it with icebreaker on my hunter build. It can get stasis shards from weapon mods, has the ammo refill from origin trait, has headstone, and it has frost armor ( this works kinda like how usually wicked implement runs a harvest aspect)
@@BREAKocean I am utilizing the new stasis exotic for hunter as it is extremely strong. I’m using wintershroud and a harvest aspect for more stasis shards to fuel the engine. I run whisper of rime and hunger to work with the stasis shards and I run refraction to help with my dodge ( gamblers) cooldown. I run the fragment which increases my shatter damage and I run the fragment which increases primary damage to stasis stuff. It works by using a shuriken to freeze enemies (crystals give insta freeze) and then using the hand cannon or shuriken to shatter. Loop is self evident
@@arjunbaweja7755 Oh nice! I am working on getting my titan up to burn his engrams for rahool so I can save engrams on my hunter to farm out a a decent roll of fealty. I kinda put the build together haphazardously since I just unlocked prismatic on my titan but it is fun on ez content. I can't wait to get fealty on my main hunter. Yeah, I think I’ll stay with my Judgment HC. The new Rimestealer perk plus the new origin trait make a compelling offer, but Exuviae being a 120 HC is a dealbreaker for me. I’ve always seen 120s to thrive more in PVP, which is one reason why Igneous Hammer continues to dominate in that space. Plus I hate using slow RoF weapons in PVE anyway, unless it’s a rocket launcher.
I don't have this roll but I have Rimestealer on the new double fire GL and on Stasis Titan paired with Salvations Grip (which now also has Rimestealer) ans Hoarfrost. Its always x8 Frost Armor. Rimestealer/Headstone is a new s-tier combo, I need this 120 for pve with it.

@@lukatosic09 for the amount of work you need to put into getting it yes, for comparison if you get 8 stacks of frost armour you still have less dr than base woven mail, for how much you need to invest into getting it frost armour is incredibly weak
It just annoys me that I need an aspect to get frost armor on the stasis class. This kinda solves but I'd rather they fold the harvest aspects into the classes

Not new but effectively a blueberry getting back into the game (still at like 1976 power lmao), but this was my first ever roll. Happy I got lucky, I might've before but I don't know enough to recognize decent rolls
Kinetic weapons often feel weak unless it uses special ammo or is an exotic. A legendary kinetic primary weapon that is intended for utility instead of damage is something I'd love to see more of. Nice vid, I can't wait to cop the god roll myself!
There are extremely few primary ammo weapons that feel like they’re strong enough to even use instead of running Mightnight Coup and Zaoli’s Bane because handcannons got buffed a bunch and they have the same roll to buff their damage to exotic level. The new two bursts (I haven’t played with them) but I don’t even think they feel as good as people tried to make them sound (not terrible by any means). Then a surprise pick for many I’m sure but I find myself running Brigand’s Law. Sidearms statistically hit hard, you can use what ever perk you want but I run Enhanced Feeding Frenzy + Enhanced Voltshot and it hits hard, add clears well and reloads so fast it doesn’t feel sluggish to use. That’s assuming I’m running a primary at all… which in end game stuff doesn’t happen that often.
I would LOVE this thing over my Eyesluna or Vulpecula... But that viewmodel is just WAYYY too close to the camera. Makes the whole thing feel clunky as hell on top of it being a 120. On the pvp front, 120's are a dying breed barely held together by precision instrument. Gone are the days where they could reliably kill with 2 crit 1 body on all resilience. Not to mention that 2 tap is completely gone in most cases.

Isn't that one background map for Onslaught Salvation the old Gambit Scorn map?
ya, got my "breakneck" on it, good times..good times
Yes
I just remember getting blasted over and over by sleeper from that platform.
The arc soul from Getaway Artist also shoots the dark ether charges pretty well to get the reload proc.
I lost a match if 6's and got a fluted barrel, accurized, keep away, precision instrument drop... made my day 🤷🏻♂️🤣 already had the rime, headstone in the vault ... guns is 💯
This video is a fun watch now that I’ve obtained my rimestealer/headstone Exuviae😂❄️
My personal God roll, Fluted Barrel, Tactical Mag, Rimestealer, Headstone, Reload Master Work.
So that's what those floating white balls were. Hahaha! Thanks for the video! Great job!
Another great deep dive. Good stuff
This 120 paired with Vexcaliber could be some fun tank builds
The BEST weapon reviews ALWAYS
Cant wait to get it. Personally probably more of a PVE weapon for me tho. Slideways on Crimil's makes it feel so good especially after the buff/fix.
I’m in this video! lol we always get into great duals when we’re against each other. That hand cannon is a blast! Lone wolf, ep feels really good.
Rimestealer is nutty with the new Warlock exotic, Rime-Coat Raiment. The enhanced stasis turret spawns 4 crystals so you can get max Frost Armor immediately.
Thanks for gettin nerdy with it buddy
I love my Something New so I'm really happy about this HC. The only role Something New has over this is demo headstone which still doesnt make me want to use it over this.
The zoom looks really funky
I got that roll yesterday. That hand cannon slaps
20 minutes after watching this video... the same roll dropped. 🙌🏾
I think the horror story that is out this ‘festival of the lost’ is gonna be cracked with the new perks.
Good review buddy
We need a way to choose masterwork, barrel and magazine perks.
It also has a great firing sound!
So rip Bold Endings already?
bold endings was always just whatever
If you ask me? Bold endings was dead on arrival if you had the god roll Eyasluna with Unrelenting/headstone.
Nah it’s good if you run a grenade build. It will always come down to the build you’re running.
bold endings was always mid (def not joining the comment chain)
It was already garbo
I'm excited to run this on a Renewal Hunter with Icebreaker. Looks like itll flow.
double frost armor sounds awesome. I tried it out in the basic version and it was kinda meh. Maybe I'll give the enhanced a whirl!
I’ll be grinding until I get a good roll. I love 120s and this thing looks top tier
To me it’s legendary wicked Implement, which I insanely value as I can easily pair it with icebreaker on my hunter build.
It can get stasis shards from weapon mods, has the ammo refill from origin trait, has headstone, and it has frost armor ( this works kinda like how usually wicked implement runs a harvest aspect)
icebreaker didn’t come out yet, right?
@@adhirg correct: I want it as preparation. It will be the dungeon rxotic
What's your hunter build? I'm using it on prismatic titan to finish tfs campaign and I main hunter
I used it on my Titan to proc Exodus rockets on hazardous propulsion and It is so much fun. I kinda put the build together haphazardously since I just unlocked prismatic on my titan but it is fun on ez content. I can't wait to get fealty on my main hunter. Have you cleared 50 waves on onslaught with it?
Yeah, I think I’ll stay with my Judgment HC. The new Rimestealer perk plus the new origin trait make a compelling offer, but Exuviae being a 120 HC is a dealbreaker for me. I’ve always seen 120s to thrive more in PVP, which is one reason why Igneous Hammer continues to dominate in that space. Plus I hate using slow RoF weapons in PVE anyway, unless it’s a rocket launcher.
Reticle is off quiet a bit. It's in the patch notes. Also, it's a 140 but broken at the moment.
I got one with rime, frenzy. Since I’m on the new warlock exotic I basically make my own crystals anyway. Curious to see how rime, headstone feels in contrast to
This thing is going to go so hard with Ice Breaker
Wow I’m honestly so surprised the bugged zoom isnt bothering u at all. U didnt even mention it the whole vid. I got one just to try it and after like 3 clips I just could NOT see wtf I was shooting in pve and I’m a diehard pvp hc main . Hc+more than like rangefinder zoom= plz stop no 😂. It was so jarring I felt like I was getting car sick 😂😂 and I dont even get car sick or sea 🌊 sick ever 😂😂.
I hated on this at first because I usually HATE 120s especially in pve. But I love this weapon! It doesn’t feel like a 120 at all. It reloads fast asf, has decent handling, great range and it hits like a truck.
It’s also accurate asf too, so landing headshots is super easy and it has some really good perks for pve. Rimestealer with headstone and a reload speed/stability masterwork goes so hard on this.
Reload still ASS, Keepaway and 1-2 reloader mods is still not as fast as Stats For All.
Maybe just me but slow ass reload bothers me, why I love Air Trigger on Crimil’s dagger.
Something New has great perks but the ASS reload makes me not want to use it😢.
@@derek3154 the origin trait makes it so you almost never have to reload in the first place. And the one I have has good reload speed
Surprised you didn't mention ballidorse wrathweavers with this build.
I got it my first roll (Rime/Readstone). Using it with icefall on mono stasis and it is peak.
the sight looks great on that, unlike Insurmountable
Havent touched the game since the raid race. Its so tempting to hop back on, the fomo is crazy, but I also dont want to spend money to buy a half baked season and buy a dungeon to play with no friends. Please convince me to play
I don't give a HOOT if it's OP, I don't give a WHAT if it "breaks the meta", I just wanna know WHERE THE VALUE IS!
You are stupid
Get rid of all the stuff you don't use
The value is a good generator of both stasis shards and frost armor.
Builds utilizing those two verbs will benefit immensely
then watch the fucking video? what is the point of this comment?
That’s like asking why should I play any looter game 😅 a game is made to be fun and enjoy if you play it competitively and aren’t happy with how things are going take a break. I did for 2 years a little less. Came back been enjoying everything.
I got rime stealer and headstone on like my second drop, i already locked it and in the process of enhancing it
The new GL can roll Rimestealer and Chill Clip, it’s so much fun.
That's the curated roll and you get it as a quest reward.
i know its off topic but can you rereview the two burst weps now that they got a buff like is aishas care good now ?
Im probably going with explosive payload or fenzy instead of headstone in the fourth column cause i cant aim
Hellyeah love this one
its beautiful on a mothman hybrid build. overshields + frost armor. Dont know what the math is on the reduction but its a shitton
this weapon might've been good if its wasn't a 120 and if frost armour wasn't terrible
36% DR is bad?
@@lukatosic09 for the amount of work you need to put into getting it yes, for comparison if you get 8 stacks of frost armour you still have less dr than base woven mail, for how much you need to invest into getting it frost armour is incredibly weak
@@gills10975that’s why I run icefall mantle
@@gills10975 are you slow?
I think bungo has just thrown balance out the window after prismatic
"Fuck it just toss in whatever we dont care about this game anymore"
My very first drop was this roll 🤙
I’m still trying to figure out why I can’t access my maps when I’m on planet.
It just annoys me that I need an aspect to get frost armor on the stasis class. This kinda solves but I'd rather they fold the harvest aspects into the classes
The sidearm, in my opinion, is way better. Destabalizing, repulsor brace.
Second roll I got, live it
"... no! To the pain!"
Anyone else having a problem with this gun? Mines all zoomed in you can't even see your hands at all
Losing crafting sucks
Nah.
@@adambarnes4191 yeah it does, nobody but teenager losers who have no life like the loot chase anymore. Its too stale for sidegrade powercreep weapons season over season.
crafting isn't gone
Ok but the zoom is a bug??
Sounds fun
Not new but effectively a blueberry getting back into the game (still at like 1976 power lmao), but this was my first ever roll. Happy I got lucky, I might've before but I don't know enough to recognize decent rolls
Guy, you are so Cool
Kinetic weapons often feel weak unless it uses special ammo or is an exotic. A legendary kinetic primary weapon that is intended for utility instead of damage is something I'd love to see more of.
Nice vid, I can't wait to cop the god roll myself!
Cop what
primary not kinetic, it's a stasis weapon
@@cheukinator extremely common slang
