Thanks guys. In the last few days I've been sleeping on my back with pillows underneath my knees (as demonstrated in one of your videos) and I am now waking up with less pain and stiffness in my back and hips . I am also sleeping longer. Thank you both 🙏 for all your hard work in helping so many people. ☺️
Can you do a video about how to fix numbing pain in your ring finger and pinky. It wakes me up at night. I do wear a brace and sleep only on my back. I have had PT before for shoulder impingement, I don’t remember the moves or how many or how long. Help please
This is golden. I've noticed that since I've started building muscle, they may need more blood/flow because my arms tend to go painfully numb at night, even though I sleep the same way I did before.
How's your sleep been ? I started to lift and latley ive been getting numb. I wonder if it's one of the reasons. I use to be more of a cardio guy. all the best.
Omg. I am so glad I had looked up my symptoms on UA-cam. My doctor diagnose me with neuropathy without any testing or suggestions. After two weeks of persistent tingling my hands were starting to ache. I tried one of your methods (with the pillow) and I was able to sleep all night with no pain whatsoever. You guys are awesome!
@@ramundo07 i am not entirely sure if they are related but yes, specifically on the left side, but my hands tingle even when I'm not experiencing any discomfort
I get that every now and then and figured out I’m a wrist curler … bad habit so I try to go to sleep in the right positions with my wrists not bent! Thank you guys!
Thank you both for all the informational videos! Much appreciated! 🙏❤️ I woke up with two tingling/numb hands this morning ~ I mostly sleep on my left side due to GERD
I sleep in all those positions that you mentioned with 3 pillows and have been experiencing the numbness. I will definitely be trying this tonight. Thank you so much ❤.
I don't like all those pillows, but learned a few years ago, after carpel tunnel surgery, that the wrist braces worked really well, so I use them when I start to get the numb hands.
Thank you been waking up every morning with my arms numb and the oxygen saturation low. because of curling up my arms and wrist. I needed this video, now I have to get my arms and wrist straight while sleeping to fix the issue

I think I do 2 of those poor sleeping positions but I Now think I can remedy it by using a flat pillow as shown in the beginning of the video. Thanks for this video! I’m sorry to say… I have been sleeping on my belly part of the night for the past ? Million years? I’m almost 60 so. I know it’s supposed to be bad but it’s side and belly for me all my life.
I had all these problems, couldn't get comfortable, then realised I had a neck pillow, washable cotton cover soft filling so soft hardly felt it, I found I didn't need to support my head with my hands or arms, and I could breath easier, therefore more oxygen less prickly numbness
I was told that i have tennis elbow pain but I noticed at night that I curl my wrists and at this point my left hand grip power is very diminished. I’ll try the wrist straps, wish me luck.
Thanks, I don't know why from about a year or so I curl my wrists and hands while I'm asleep, then they get numb. My whole arm goes completely numb, to the point where I cannot move it, it just "dies". I've always slept in these positions and nothing ever happened, so I found it strange that suddenly it happens almost every night. 😢
Mine began 2 weeks ago I read it can be one of many symptoms of menopause Of course OB said see a neurologist -I'll try Bob and Brad options first ❤ I'm only on day 3 of HRT and really expect it to help!
This video is perfect timing for me. This is a fairly new problem for me. I’ve developed a habit of hugging a small bean bag to my torso all night. I find it comforting and helps me fall asleep I guess I need to break this habit.
Hello doctor, how can we strengthen our core after spine surgery? Plz make a video on this topic.. I recently had a L4 5 laminectomy and spine surgery and isnt able to stand steady and walk.
#6 Fix = where gloves (which is also Bob and Brad's fix to fall asleep). I rub Arnica cream on my fingers and use braces and cotton gloves. Thanks Bob and Brad....I'm still using many of your techniques. You've helped me more than any doctors ever did!
Well I never sleep on my side. But when I was 16 in 2016 I had a seizure while driving my sister to work with my right hand on the wheel and since that day, I hand falls asleep all the time. When I went back to school that year , I even had a cushion on the pencil since I am right handed. My parents recommend me mentioning this to my doctor. I’ve always tried to fix my right hand. But It’s the same.
Great tips!, I use wrist braces. And can't help keep my elbows bent, arm's out straight feels so weird, have to or yes my hands just shut down. Have you had an any issues or tips to fix jaws getting really tired from chewing quickly?
I've done the pillow under my arm but you still have to lay on one arm. I generally ley on my left side with the right arm propped up over a pillow. The problem is there is literally no comfortable position to lay in. If I lay mostly flat on my back with arms straight and or my back elevated inclined I can be pain free so my hands don't go numb however this position sucks for sleeping.
Great ideas. My problem is pain in both hands around the pinky and ring fingers. I can't sleep on my side because I have hip pain and I get pins and needles in my hands, so I sleep on my back. I am now wondering if the cause of my hand pain is because I use several pillows to elevate my head so I don't snore, even though they are positioned to create a gradual incline. I don't know what to do, night comfort has become a real issue for me 😢
Pillows hor your hands. Pillows for your arms. Pillows for your hips. Pillows for your legs. Not complaining. Just laughing. In reality, I sleep with a few pillows myself.
Recently I wake up screaming in mid of the sleep mostly within an hour or so after I start sleeping and what I see mostly is my leg or hand having the numbness . What can cause this?

The pillow underneath the ribs worked the best for me. However, I feel a little back pain every morning when I wake up. Is that normal? Has anyone else had the same feeling?
I had these symptoms and was told it was the ulnar nerve because it also affected my elbow (was really bruised feeling). I figured out on my own that (I was a wrist and side sleeping arm bender) and that I needed to do all that Bob and Brad just explained and it helped! Not bending the arms and wrists Stopped the numb hands and the elbow pain! And it happened pretty quickly too! I used the wrist splints and the pillow for support.
