I remember when MGS3 with MGO came out on PS2 with internet connection it was a big deal
i think even though it won't make sense for the story, having co-op for the main story or for vr missions would be great
Honestly, co-op could work like Ada's segment of Resident Evil 6, where there's a nameless generic that appears when there's a second player, but doesn't get acknowledged in any cutscenes or dialog

Mgs4 pretty much had battle royal, cant remember the name but it started with a big circle and then when down.
Stealth Deathmatch, there would be a sound if another player was moving towards you.

it needs to be crossplay, bring all the metal gear fans together
and it’s crazy that survival was recently re-released on MGO2PC
I think it automatically confirmed for any new free to play games to be crossplay
Metal gear online was the best multiplayer game
I hope they make mgo more funnier then before and have more fun modes like maybe a prop hunt or see which team can find the most bobble head frogs. Also have a mode where we can fight or sneak around in the super dark cave systems!
Those modes you mentioned would be perfect for LTM mode on MGO
I played each one back in the day, always was fun I still go and play MGSV online wish more people played

We just need it similar to MGO2. MGO2 was very well done. One of my favorite online experiences outside of uncharted and tlou factions.

Mgs4 online was easily the best one I really missed that game
BR feels bit down at the moment even though Apex and Fortnite is still popular but if MGO4 comes out with BR with CQC no need for your character to equip any weapons along with integration grab they have to have a banger of first gameplay trailer to highlight mechanics of MGO in BR sittings to get hardcore BR lovers to take interest in MGO and i hopes Bounty Hunter will return in MGO4 i want to see how Bounty Hunter mode will be when there's devs working on it through out the year vs what it was in MGO3 even i said loads of times i don't want to see Isando in MGO4 because how that weapon was annoying in MGO3 but i think variant of Isando could work in BR as survival item in BR to cover your team rather than weapon to use against players
Its would be cool to see a MGO4 in the remake but i dont think a mass player would be interested in this game :(
I would love to see coop in metal gear solid 3 online, when it comes to the bike part player one will do that part like it was in peace walker.

I would rather not have multiplayer just let be a single player one.
Honestly, I'm good without a online mode. I feel like it's useless. And before people start. I'm a fan of the series. I've. Been playing since 1998 MGS1 PS1. I originally was introduced by game informer magazine demo program. I've played every iteration of the series from release on. THIS IS MY FAVORITE GAME SERIES. My personal opinión, is the online takes away from the quality of the main story. Not every game needs an online mode. I've played all MGOs, and felt like they took more away from the game than added. When developers try adding online, it divides their focus and they forfeit other areas of the game that could be further enhanced. I would take a MGS3D fully flushed out to the max, over a half way done and with online. If I want online I'll play something else.
If you played MGO2 and it didn’t vibe with you, then can you really have a say on it? Just ignore it, I have spent thousands of hours playing MGO2, joined a clan, made friends.

Very insightful points, I personally think that MGO returning could be great but would need the community to survive if it’s revived in its original state. It simply will not be able to compete in today’s oversaturated online industry.
Phantom mgo was ok but mgo2 was better
