The new player can play MSG V. It's really only tied to ground zero so it doesn't confuse new players. Then, they can go into the MGS 3 remake with a already had next gen experience.

Yea bro, I can't watch man. I'm approaching this game like a born again virgin 😅 you kno what I mean...I wanna be as surprised as possible. I haven't played this game in maybe 10 years cause I just recently got back into gaming and didn't buy the master collection. MGS2 & 3 are the best games I ever played. I'm trying to play Dead Stranding because of Kojima but it just doesn't connect the way snake does. And Imagine, that game has actual actors that I like and MGS series has none but it's the nostalgic connection I have everyone in MGS. Fun fact, my friend that introduced me to this game joined the army because of Snake😅. Tru story and guess what? We are from Jamaica but yet it impacted him that much. For me... It influences me to learn about war history and politics, I redefined for what a man endures alone in the fight for your belief. Snake is the most stoic character in a game, this is where I first learnt this principle.

What you said about Kojima touching your life via the MGS games, I totally hear as I feel the same. Suffering is part of life but there is a beauty in it, an opportunity to become better, to be more than what you once were. A silent strength. I love these games, always will. Each game taught me something new, be it about world affairs, history or even about myself. So my guy, this video is pretty good

my best guess of when it will release is the 10 year anniversary for mgs3 which is November 17, seems like the most likely time for it to come out even though i want it sooner

I expect them doing something TSG which was Metal Gear go to when it comes to release new information on upcoming game but TGS could be last big push for Silent Hill 2 remake they could highlight both at TGS

Im not gonna lie i be playing phantom pain and is wearing the naked snake fit with the bandanna to pretend like im already playing it i also be playing ghost recon and making my character cosplay as naked snake or big boss and it’s funny because you could play with sam fisher too. Also I don’t think ya should play the original snake eater if you’re planning on playing the remake for the first time just to experience it for the first time as it’s with the new graphics and stuff!

As for the news I believe they will update us around October ish or November which it could result on revealing the release date of the game

I believe for storyline the players should play the original Metal Gear Solid 3 to know the story and for preparation of the new physics of the gameplay they should play MGS V both ground zeroes and phantom pain to get a feel of the mechanics of the game

With big gaming events coming and the Hotline show being 4 weeks ago I would like a August 2nd day to have another Hotline MGS show given its on Friday last time I would love it but my Guess is Gamescom is when official new info comes from Konami. My expectations are that the level design and placement of enemies will be the same. I expect damage to be tweaked to be more balanced, boss fights tk be chsnged to be more complex, and all the stuff theyve already shown. What i want is for VR missions to be included. I want the radio calls to be presented in a more entertaining way. Im not sure what to expect with the inventory. I feel like funcionally itll be like 4, but changing ehats equipped will be like V.

I want gameplay more akin to V. That gameplay was smooth as heck. Also, I would like some side missions or a mode with some side stories that go completely off the rails like the side missions in Subsistence. Lots of unlockable items, gear and costumes would be great. Also, since this is Konami, why not do some crossover stuff? Like add a game plus and just insert some Konami characters as bosses and then make them unlockable in subsequent playthroughs. Like a boss battle with Bomberman, one of our vampire killing heroes, a Silent Hill character... Make it new in some way other than being a next gen version of MGS. Some of us played the hell out of that story already and that aspect isn't very exciting tbh.

Folks stop pissin and shitting in your pants... The Game will be the same like the old one with just graphics and some minor changes. Gameplay has 2 sides you can choose for the leftovers of society that can't go on with evolution and accept the new movement

Your suggestions I believe will all be in their, I do think for the time period and for aesthetics they could include codec calls now and again but jus for general updates and in game light nuggets I can see this. If you played days gone, I think it's gonna be lik that. I hope you work for Konomi or sum cause these suggestions are all things the fans actually care about

My brain can't even comprehend a modern remake of mgs 1 and 2 tbh. I was 5 when I played through mgs and I was 7 when I first played through mgs 2

Why are folks commenting twice rather than just leaving it as one big comment

I wonder if the face paint will wash away or break down as u go through rain or tall grass and you would have to reapply the face paint back on if you want to or put on a different color on too!

I kinda hope they add more depth and details into the map and more ways to sneak around the areas or something like that! Also they should have the items and weapons selection be more like TPP but with extra scrolls as you pick each section!

Konami if you make an MGS 2 Remake. Please change the one line from Liquid/Ocelot..where he says "Big Boss was in his late 50's" .cause its a mistake and it really bothers me ^^

- no loading screens - the same areas, but bigger - the game design must be made for the new controls, dont make the same mistake that The Twin Snakes did - please pleaaaase more and harder difficulty levels - Snake vs Monkeys - some bonus content - more collectable items - the Nightmare Mini game.
